Courtesy of Mediaite:
Michelle Obama stumped for Hillary Clinton in Arizona today and went after Donald Trump in possibly much harsher terms than she did last time.
Obama called out Trump for constantly playing into an “us versus them” mentality where he can easily “dehumanize them… because you don’t know them, you can’t even see them.”
“He demeans and humiliates women as if we’re objects meant solely for pleasure and entertainment rather than human beings worthy of love and respect.”
I swear that NOBODY, not even the President, hits Trump harder and more effectively than FLOTUS.
She knows exactly where his weak spots are and seems to see it as her special purpose to drop him to his knees.
And if you notice, he does not dare to hit back.
That may be one of the only smart decisions he has made in this election cycle.
On another note, I used to kind of scoff at the idea of a Senator Michelle Obama, mostly because I heard that she was uninterested in a career in politics.
But these days while seeing her speak, and while seeing her passion for this country, I cannot help but think that it would be America's loss to never have Michelle Obama in the Senate.
Or perhaps back in the White House?
Donald Trump attacks everybody and anybody who says anything about him except for Michelle Obama, why's that?
ReplyDeleteI wondered about that myself.
DeleteBecause he knows she is loved and/or well regarded throughout the country and has higher approval ratings than her husband!
DeleteWe already know Trump to be a racist and he is smart enough to realize that going after our First Lady Michelle would increase his chances of becoming a 'loser' in his race for POTUS!
He hates successful women - especially black ones!
He's been warned by the White House that the First Lady is off limits.
DeleteI guess there are some things Donald is afraid of.
Fear would be the only thing stopping him as we know there are no lines that Donald won't cross.
There's one word to define what powers Michelle Obama has over Donald Trump,
ReplyDeleteKRYPTONITE
Every time the First Lady appears at a rally, she weakens Donald Trump.
Michelle, the senator and potentially the President would maybe be the kryptonite to deter another vacuous imbecile like Trump from ever trying that complete oligarchy bullshit again.
DeleteWarning to the Dominionists et al:
She does not "talk" Christianity... she lives it.
And for the never were Sarah ilk out there, you may as well evaporate. You're forgotten just like a Trump punchline.
Trump D.C. hotel to hold grand opening two weeks before election
ReplyDeleteThose in search of further evidence that Donald Trump is using his presidential campaign to market his new $212 million hotel in Washington, please mark your calendars for Wednesday, Oct. 26, when Trump plans to hold a grand opening celebration for the project.
That’s a dozen days before Election Day, Nov. 8. No official word on whether Trump himself will attend as his company, the Trump Organization, confirmed the date but has not yet sent out invitations.
This will be the third major event he has held at the hotel since launching his campaign, part of plugs and promotions for the hotel that he has inserted into campaign events, interviews and rallies.
Unlike at the first two presidential debates, however, Trump did not mention the hotel on Wednesday night during the third and final debate....

I wonder if the rigged media is going to fall for " I have a big announcement to make" line again for free publicity or will they ignore him for a change.
DeleteIt's gonna flop.
DeleteThat picket line is going to stay there until after the election or he agrees upon a contract in Las Vegas.
I anticipate he'll get a lot of declines to his invitations. He'll have to go down lists and send out tons of invites just to partially fill the place. They won't be his first, second or third tier preferences.
And the media may not cover it much.
He's done.
It will be a Marriott or Hyatt within a few years.
mObama 2024
ReplyDeleteNot sure that we deserve her? Either way its a grand thought.
DeleteI expect the Obamas to do great things in the public service arena, which seems to be their main interest. One thing for certain is that they won't rest on their laurels, unlike certain Republicans we come to know and abhor.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see a Democratic trend of husband and wife US Presidents. :)
ReplyDeleteDo you ever wonder if Barack and Michelle have "speech offs" for family time?
DeleteBTW That trend would be just fine with me :)
No.
DeleteBut they converse. They talk to each other. They have actual adult conversations about more than the kids.
O/T He must have missed the memo, this was not a campaign rally, no wonder they booed him. Then again it was probable rigged by the Catholics.
ReplyDeleteCheck out the bigly bald spot !!!! The whole back of his head is missing road kill!!! He is going to be calling Sarah for her wig maker after the election.

Love the Obamas! Outstanding people. Both will continue doing great things for the American people. It's going to be fun to watch them in the years to come.
ReplyDeleteIt is a stark contrast between what Trump supporters cheer at and what the crowd cheers in this video.
ReplyDeleteTrump has never tried his schtick on any crowd that wasn't full of his supporters. He has no idea what the average person in this country thinks of him.
DeleteNow he knows.

I've been to this dinner many times. Never saw anyone get booed this way during a speech.

Also Smith Dinner
ReplyDeleteAlso on the Russian theme, Clinton followed up some self-deprecating humor about her health by saying, “Donald really is as healthy as a horse—you know, the one Vladimir Putin rides around on.”
NO NOT DONALD PASSING GAS
ReplyDelete"But passing gas in the house of God doesn’t do justice to how shameful and embarrassing the Republican nominee was"
New Republic:
The boos began when he said, “Hillary is so corrupt...” And it only got worse from there.
It’s tempting to say that Donald Trump’s speech at the Al Smith Dinner on Thursday night went over like a fart in church. This was an annual fundraiser for Catholic charities, after all, hosted in Manhattan by the Archbishop of New York, Cardinal Timothy Dolan. But passing gas in the house of God doesn’t do justice to how shameful and embarrassing the Republican nominee was at the dais at the Waldorf Astoria, turning what’s traditionally a forum for White House hopefuls to tell lighthearted jokes into a pulpit for cruel remarks about the Democratic nominee, who was seated mere feet away.
“Hillary believes it’s vital to deceive the people by having one public policy and totally different policy in private,” Trump said. “For example, here she is tonight in public, pretending not to hate Catholics.”
This, as you can imagine, didn’t go over well.
Probably because Donald thinks he is the best joke writer in the world, tremendous, no one better. So he wrote his own speech and no one checked it over. I'm sure he thought it was hilarious and didn't understand why no one else was laughing.
DeleteThe boos were absolutely shocking to him. I'll bet that man has never been boo'd in his life.
Anyone want to post his angry Tweet-rant from this morning?
For those who missed the life of the party Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the AL Smith Dinner

Michelle confirms what an incredible human being Barack is......you could not imagine her being with anyone less. I happen to believe she is a modern woman, perfection in every sense of the word and I adore her. There is nothing she can't do and you can see how children flock to her as well as Barack, kids know.
ReplyDeleteJust so happens she is drop dead gorgeous standing tall next to her handsome husband and her fashion sense, amazing. Let's face it....I am def for Hillary but the WH is losing it's glamour & style, that act is impossible to follow.
Donald Trump Finally Wins a Newspaper Endorsement – From the KKK
ReplyDeleteIn the latest edition of the KKK’s official newspaper, “the Crusader,” the one with a picture of Donald Trump gracing the cover, the editors gave Donald J. Trump a “glowing endorsement” and support for his candidacy and promised that Trump is finally bringing about “a resurgence of white supremacy.”
http://www.politicususa.com/2016/10/21/donald-trump-finally-wins-newspaper-endorsement-kkk.html
Finally I was waiting for my paper and my people to acknowledge Donald Trump
DeleteHillary Clinton got the endorsement of Donald Trump's alma mater, the Univ. of Penn. where the Wharton School he brags so much about is.
DeleteEven if Trump ran the table in the remaining battleground states — Florida, Iowa, Nevada, North Carolina and Ohio — he would fall short of the White House if he cannot flip another state where Clinton currently leads in the polls.

Former RNC Chair Dumps Trump
Michael Steele said he was “damn near puking during the debates.”
The former head of the Republican Party won’t be voting for Donald Trump in November, BuzzFeed reports.
Michael Steele, who chaired the party from 2009 to 2011, said at an event this week that he was “damn near puking during the debates,” according to the publication. Steele added that he also wouldn’t vote for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
The former chairman is the latest high-profile conservative to disavow Trump. After giving the GOP nominee’s racist and sexist comments a pass for almost his entire campaign, a slew of Republican leaders abandoned ship this month amid growing accusations of sexual assault.
Among those disavowing Trump
are .... see HP
His post debate tweets made it clear he was not supporting Trump.
Delete"His answer inflicts serious damage to his campaign because in the end the American people want to know if you can be a good loser."
I disagreed with Michael Steele on a lot of things but he was miles above Reince Priebus, for whom winning at all costs, including your soul, morals and ethics, is paramount.
I expect Reince to be out shortly after Nov. 9th.
I always thought the Republicans elected Michael Steele as a token, to show that they weren't prejudiced against Obama because he was black, but while Steele was in the position, I never felt he got the support he should have had, that he was constantly fighting to lead and was dealing with defiance from his own people.
There are a lot of Republicans that ripped Trump after that last debate (that he DID NOT WIN!)
https://www.yahoo.com/news/some-republicans-rip-trump-for-refusal-to-say-hell-accept-election-results-155052341.html
Don't worry 7:19, Donald Trump's biggest supporter SARAH PALIN also endorsed and represented our people along with an endorsement from KKK’s official newspaper, “the Crusader,”.
ReplyDeleteMichelle could, along with her daughter's be "bound for glory" any way they choose. With 3 Supreme Court Justices possible openings in the near future,
ReplyDeleteI would most like to see Former President Barack Obama be named "Chief Justice of the Supreme Court"< That would be "Justice Served". Ultimate Dream! ALL in due TIME.
I do think he would make a great justice....but.....they are basically silenced. I would love for him to go back to the Senate and it would force all those GoPee Senators to keep referring to him as Mr President :)
DeleteI think Roberts is Chief Justice for life. I don't think he can be removed as Chief Justice.
DeleteI would love nothing better than for Obama to agree to be a justice on the Supreme Court.
I'd like to see Merrick Garland approved quickly after the results are in and the Republicans are peeing their pants. (Nate Silver says 70%+ chance the Democrats retake the Senate). Then when Hillary starts to make her nominations, I'd like her to convince Obama that he couldn't serve this country better in any other way than to serve on the Supreme Court.
Obama 2024!!!!
ReplyDeleteThere aren't many speakers that have truly moved me, one was the late Paul Wellstone, a dear friend and a friend of Minnesota and the whole USA with his legacy of the FMLA.
Another is President Barack Obama and the third is Michelle Obama. And I think Barack is awfully lucky Michelle wasn't running against him in any election :)
It brings tears to my eyes every time I hear her speeches.
DeleteImagine Mrs Trump giving speeches like that.
Maybe Illinois should think about electing both Obama's as their Senators, and no, I am not kidding.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Michelle has any interest in serving in public office.
DeleteThis is probably mean but then I am not as nice as the Obama's.
ReplyDeleteBut did anyone else think that tRump looked like an old dowager at the Al Smith dinner?
I have harbored the hope that Michelle O would be a Supreme Court justice. Or Maybe Barack on the SC, and Michelle as President.
ReplyDeleteMichelle and Barrack are young enough and closer in time to the experiences of which they speak. They both learned true humility by example of those who raised them, and they never forgot where they came from and where they ended up and why.
ReplyDeleteDonald? He has no clue what it takes to make or save a buck because all was given to him. He's a coward and a cad, afraid of his own shadow. Anyone notice the look of "Duh" on Melania's face, she didn't get half the jokes, you could see them fly over her noggin. Flotus's speech was brilliant and came from her heart. Donald's, not so much.
Donald is a 'taker' and has taught his children the same.
DeleteJr. filled the water cup at In-and-Out with lemonade. Didn't pay for it. So basically stole it. Because he is entitled because he's a Trump?
