Great day - returning home from early voting to see Todd, Trig & Tripp shooting pucks on our already-frozen lake; planning logistics to get back on the campaign trail for the last week of this imperative fight for our kids' and grandkids' future in the greatest country on God's green earth!

Look Palin cannot even post about voting without bringing the kids into it.
And if she was really worried about their future she certainly would not have voted for the thin skinned, unqualified, misogynistic POS at the top of the GOP ticket.
Not that it matters because Wasilla is without a doubt going for Trump, and chances are Alaska will as well.
So her participation is really inconsequential.
On the other hand I voted on Monday, only a half hour after early voting started in Alaska, and if my candidate, the only one in this race qualified to do the job, wins it will be historic and ground breaking.
And if she also wins the state of Alaska it will not only be historic, but it might help to erase our previous mistake of voting in the state's first female Governor, who not only quit halfway through the job but also made us look like a bunch of inbred idiots to the rest of the world.

I scrolled through the other day and couldn't find the post wedding ring pic, though it could be there.
What I was looking for and found, was that Dakota was wearing the exact same clothes in the "they are in Hawaii now" photo as the old ones from back in May or whenever the big event supposedly took place.

A restauranteer from Fairview NC, Rosetta Blau, and her teen son journeyed to Standing Rock to join the Protectors.
DeleteOur local affiliate actually covered it this morning (I almost fell out)! This lady described the brutality the robocops met these peaceful natives with, as well as what they did to her son. He was beaten by the cops and arrested for peacefully protesting. These protectors are unarmed.
These Natives aren't protesting to protect THEIR water, they are putting their lives on the fucking line for OUR water. The Missouri River provides drinking water to at least 17 Million People downstream. Not to mention what an inevitable pipeline leak would do to the millions of acres of river bottom land that is farmland. Those pipes leak like crazy, and about half of those leaks can be contained. Petro leaks really don't ever really clean up. Exxon Valdez, anyone? Deep Horizon? How's that clean up going?
The ND Gov and cops from about 6 counties, national guard, are all protecting a corporation and its eminent domain to poison our water and land. The cops are protecting and serving a corporation, not the people.
Here in NC, we have Duke Power. Their coal ash ponds' dams break and poison the rivers. The taxpayers get to pay to clean it up, even though Duke is one of the richest corporations.
These petroleum corporations are the biggest welfare queens of them all. They reap huge gov't subsidies, ignore safety regulations, and freely poison our water and land. They pay for NOTHING.
Please support these very courageous water protectors any way you can.

ReplyDeleteWe did have a 10-day cold snap where it didn't get above freezing during the day and it was in the teens at night, but now it is in the 20's at night and our highs in Wasilla were 38 yesterday and 37 today.
