Trump economic adviser says that Donald Trump is the victim of these sexual allegations against him, and that the media is "man shaming." Just when you thought you had heard everything.

Courtesy of Think Progress:

The 11 sexual assault allegations that have emerged against Donald Trump this month? According to Trump economic advisor Betsy McCaughey, they’re just part of a “man-shaming” campaign orchestrated by the Hillary Clinton campaign.

McCaughey, the former Lieutenant Governor of New York (R) under Gov. George Pataki, made that case during a Wednesday appearance on CNN Tonight. She did so in response to host Don Lemon asking her about Newt Gingrich’s smear of Megyn Kelly as being “fascinated with sex” — a charge Gingrich made after Kelly brought up the Trump assault allegations during a Fox News interview earlier this week.

“I do believe that the polls show that Americans are not buying this roll out of accusers, and this bigger theme of man-shaming, and they want to get to the real issues,” McCaughey said, going on to cite a new Fox News poll that shows Trump ahead among independent voters — a group, she pointed out, that includes women.

I quite literally have NO idea how somebody says something like this with a straight face.

I have an image of this woman standing in front of her bathroom mirror for hours trying to say "man shaming" without cracking up or banging her head on the porcelain sink in frustration.

The idea that a serial sexual harasser and abuser like Donald Trump is the victim of ANYTHING except his own ego and sense of entitlement is laughable on its face.

And the fact that this woman can take his side against his female accusers reminds me that there are self loathing sellouts among both genders and all ethnicities.

One has to wonder if this McCaughey woman is able to feel sorry for poor Doanld Trump after reading the testimony from the former thirteen year old girl, Katie Johnson, who is accusing him of raping her?

Here is just a portion of her testimony (Trigger warning, this is a little graphic.):

‘Defendant Trump initiated sexual contact with Plaintiff at four different parties. On the fourth and final sexual encounter with Defendant Trump, Defendant Trump tied Plaintiff to a bed, exposed himself to Plaintiff, and then proceeded to forcibly rape Plaintiff. During the course of this savage sexual attack, Plaintiff loudly pleaded with Defendant Trump to stop but with no effect. Defendant Trump responded to Plaintiff’s pleas by violently striking Plaintiff in the face with his open hand and screaming that he would do whatever he wanted.’

There is also testimony from a "Tiffany Doe" the woman who claims to have brought Katie Johnson to the party where she was raped by Donald Trump:

‘I persuaded the plaintiff to attend a series of parties of Mr. Epstein that took place during the summer of 1994. I told her that, if she would join me at the parties, she would be introduced to people who could get her into the modeling profession and she would be paid for attending.’

‘It was at these series of parties that I personally witnessed the Plaintiff being forced to perform various sexual acts with Donald J. Trump and Mr. Epstein. Both Mr. Trump and Mr. Epstein were advised that she was 13 years old. I personally witnessed four sexual encounters that the Plaintiff was forced to have with Mr. Trump during this period, including the fourth of these encounters, where Mr. Trump forcibly raped her despite her please to stop.’

"I told her that, if she would join me at the parties, she would be introduced to people who could get her into the modeling profession." This of course lines up perfectly with the folks interviewed by the Daily Beast who claimed that Trump held cocaine and sex parties featuring underage girls who were lured there with promises of modeling careers.

Oh I'm sorry, I forgot. This is just more "man shaming" and we should all be ashamed of ourselves for taking the side of all of these women and putting the blame on poor defenseless Donald Trump.

Give me a fucking break.

Vote Trump and watch what happens. No morals, no education, hate your neighbor, cheat on your spouse, tell your boss to fuck off, nike countries. Ckinks, spics, niggers, muslims, all of 'em, just pull out your gun and shoot them dead if they don't agree with you.

Not his problem; it's Pence's, while he sits in the Oval with his feet up on the desk saying "DAMN, I'm good. I need a full length mirror over here. Go get one."

    1. Anonymous5:44 PM

And he'll call Ivanka to the WH and they'll take a tour of all the bedrooms together and he'll watch her try them all out.

    2. Anonymous6:18 PM

Paraphrasing, he did say he would hand domestic and foreign policy over to Pence while he's in the Oval Office "Making America Great Again."

What the double hockeys does that mean? That's not the VP's job! What's he going to "The Price Is Right" and "Live With Kelly?" Good LORD.

    3. Your post instantly reminded me of the song lyrics from "One Tin Soldier":

Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.

Yep, that's Trump's brand of 'morality'.

    4. Anonymous12:50 AM

His children are already calling "dibs" on cabinet positions.

You'll never see a "pay to play" like the Trump administration. Those that donated big time will be calling the shots, calling in their favors for all sorts of appointments and positions.

If you want to know what dirt is on Trump, just listen to his latest accusations against Clinton. He'll actually tell you what he is guilty of by accusing her.

  2. Anonymous5:26 PM

I'm going to write in 'Bloated Old Pervert'.

    No I'm not. ;)

  3. Anonymous5:28 PM

When Trump goes to trial for the rape of a 13 yr. old girl will his defense call it "rape shaming"?

    1. Anonymous5:43 PM

She was raped at parties a number of times, so Trump will laugh it off like he did the adult film star having been grabbed before--she should have been used to it by the time Trump touched her and it's not like she was innocent, he'd say.

He's a pig. Where oh where oh where is karma? His losing the election will not be it. This guy deserves to suffer.

    2. Anonymous6:22 PM

Judge Judy: "Then stop going to parties."

    3. Anonymous7:45 PM

He'll blame "Tiffany" for bringing her. Then deny he knew she was underage, deny she said stop, in fact, deny he did it, deny he was even there.

After all, how old was Tiffany at the time? She was a minor too, right? So they'll say neither Jane nor Tiffany were competent to make any choices, judgements or even to tell the truth. That they're LYING.

It is going to be so ugly.

If the Bundy debacle is any indication, Trump will get off.

There must be 100-1000s more. Betsy McCaughey is going to be a busy economic adviser.

    1. Anonymous5:47 PM

LOL that Betsy McCaughey is a world champion at having a ton of money and looking like buys her wigs and outfits online from the nearest thrift shop.

Isn't she Mrs Original Death Panels in Obamacare, McCaughey? The one palin cribbed from?

Trump surrogates are a tiny subset of the amoral people in the world. There are many of these folks everywhere. Lie, cheat, back stab, be a flaming hypocrite ... and on and on and on and on. Often it's cloaked in religiosity. It's all about self and "what's in it for me". Watching these people go through their gyrations is bizarre. They are feral.

  11. Anonymous6:06 PM

"I quite literally have NO idea how somebody says something like this with a straight face."

Easy. The woman is a lunatic with absolutely no grasp on reality. And I say that as a New Yorker who is mortified to admit she was our Lt. Governor.

After Trump loses the election (bigly) and then is convicted of raping this CHILD I want an apology from every single Republican that voted for him, endorsed him, supported him and defended him.

Then I want every single Republican ASSHOLE in both houses of Congress to sit down, shut up, confirm Merrick Garland and cooperate with the new administration.

Because enablers and apologists of Donald Trump don't get to make any claims about morals, ethics, public service or greater good. They just need to STFU and get out of the way.

    Washington Post:
Trump says NBC broke law in releasing ‘Access Hollywood’ tape

Donald Trump suggested Thursday night that a video of him speaking in vulgar terms about kissing, groping and trying to have sex with women may have been released illegally, and he didn’t rule out suing NBC for its release.

“Certainly it was an illegal act,” Trump told Fox News in an interview, adding later that the video “was not supposed to be on.”

The Republican presidential nominee would not say whether he planned to take legal action against NBC Universal, which owns “Access Hollywood,” the program that was filming Trump when he was recorded in 2005.

“Well, you’ll see, you’ll see,” he said. “You’re going to see after the election, but I will tell you, first of all, it shouldn’t have been said, but it was locker room talk. And, yeah, I mean you know we’re gonna find out soon enough. I will tell you....

    1. So playing the Access Hollywood tape was illegal, but publishing, quoting, and rehashing the illegally obtained Podesta e-mails is just fine.

As one commenter, Karen Moser, said: "This reminds me of the adage that psychiatrists have an easier job than tort lawyers, because people who show up in psychiatrists' offices already know the problem is with them, whereas many who consult tort lawyers are still in denial and blaming someone else."

    4. Anonymous11:37 PM

He is so full of shit and he knows it. Those tapes and his performance will be the property of whomever recorded them. The interview was agreed to, Trump freely got on the bus and was aware that he was miced and there are no legal issues regarding consent. He is full of shit.

This is like Sarah Palin's little lawyer on retainer churning out threatening letters.

The commission took on Fortt's case, and she says a young Donald Trump appeared with a lawyer at a hearing on behalf of the family real estate company, Trump Management.

Her case also became part of a federal racial discrimination lawsuit filed by the Justice Department against Donald and Fred Trump that was resolved with a consent decree two years later in which they agreed to terms aimed at preventing discrimination.

That lawsuit is the basis of a new video from Hillary Clinton's campaign, released Tuesday. The video, which features a tearful interview with a retired nurse who says she was denied an apartment, notes that while the racial discrimination allegations began when Fred Trump was running the company, they persisted after his son became president of the firm.

Trump denies the company discriminated against blacks.

    1. Anonymous9:44 PM

It does hurt when you're discriminated against the first few times when you don't know what it is. It hurts so I can see why it affected her so. I'm sorry mam.

Trump's first mistake was to listen to Sarah Palin and Bannon. All the childish stunts and bad moves and stupid claims are coming straight from the Palin/Bannon playbook, that's why he's failing.

    1. Anonymous8:29 PM

just fine thank you - increases were expected, only a small percentage of people are affected and they will get subsidies to help cover cost - sure it needs improving (single payer would be great !) but 1000s of lives have been helped - so I'd say its been working out just fine

    2. Anonymous11:27 PM

You mean the Affordable Care Act? It's been around for a few years, long enough for you to get that vision test that might just enable you to learn to spell 'Obamacare', even.

And Obamacare is robust enough for that useless old buzzard Virginia Girlyman in your fetid c4peepee toilet to be still alive. How's that?

    3. Anonymous1:03 AM

Michael Moore stated it in Trumpland.

Before Obamacare, 50,000 people a year died because they either couldn't afford healthcare or their insurance wouldn't pay for their treatment.

50,000 a year for 20 years, between the time Hillary Clinton proposed universal healthcare and when Obamacare kicked in.

Thats a million people. A MILLION people lost their lives for no reason except for greed and political partisanship.

One million Americans are DEAD for no fucking reason.

How's it working? It's not perfect but it's better than what we had before. And it is a next step towards joining the rest of the developed world.

Defend that more women die in childbirth in the United States than in ESTONIA!

Make America Great Again? I don't hear Trump saying he will institute universal healthcare. Nope. He wants to throw everyone under the bus and then overcharge them for gas and tires.

"Years after his Senate confirmation hearings were roiled by accusations that he sexually harassed Anita Hill, another woman has come forward to accuse Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas of groping her.

Moira Smith, vice president and general counsel at Enstar Natural Gas Co., told the National Law Journal that the justice grabbed her without her consent in 1999, when she met him at a Truman Foundation dinner.

Veteran Supreme Court reporter Marcia Coyle writes that Smith described the encounter ― which allegedly took place when she was a 23-year-old Truman scholar ― on Facebook earlier this month. She has since deactivated her Facebook page.

“He groped me while I was setting the table, suggesting I should sit ‘right next to him,’” Smith wrote, according to the NLJ.

Smith told the NLJ that Thomas “cupped his hand around my butt and pulled me pretty close to him” and later “squeezed” her behind during a June 1999 dinner for Truman scholars at the home of Louis Blair, then head of the Truman Foundation.

The NLJ spoke with several of Smith’s former roommates and fellow Truman scholars who said they remembered her describing the incident at the time."

It's not "man-shaming", it is "rich shaming". People hate to admit that Don is rich and therefore gets to do whatever he wants. Laws are for the little people, not people of wealth and power. The sooner people just admit that, the sooner we can move past this.

Article - Just 11 more days! Here are 7 things that will make you smile after Trump loses this godawful election

    My favorite is number 3.
No more Donald, Jr. and Eric Trump: There is an old southern saying that I just made up that goes, “The little shit never falls far from the big asshole.” That could not be clearer than when you observe these two slicked-up morons on camera, babbling with the slightly wild-eyed, sweaty-faced vehemence of a college sophomore with his first-ever 8-ball of cocaine all to himself.

Like a pair of terrarium-raised grubs dressed in matching serial-killer haircuts and aggressively tight collars, Eric and Donald, Jr. show us that while inherited wealth can make a person spoiled, useless and ridiculous, inherited inherited wealth can make you into a good example of why aliens should reduce the Earth’s surface to molten glass. Just kill every living thing and start over in a couple million years.

    1. Anonymous1:17 AM

My favorite is calling Jill Stein "Tofu Palin."

  26. Anonymous8:33 PM

John Oliver made the best case when he said that Trump was standing on a collection of nails, and none were standing out when he made outrageous remark after another. Therefore, none of his remarks stood out no matter how inflammatory. That's the game they've been playing the whole time. Keep the American brain on busy with one outrageous defense after the other. No matter how horrible the remark or action. Just keep the barrage coming and soon the wear and tear of our collective senses will be so numb we will write whatever Donald and Co. say or do. It's a ploy.
