Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

Yes I did. And I still do. Just not the biggest idiot.
This is how you really know just how bad Donald Trump is.
When he makes you nostalgic for freaking George W. Bush.
No. Bush had more power, by virtue of his pedigree--flaws and all--and other proof of his normalcy and upstanding citizenship. He has a lasting marriage. He served in the military. (But where was he when he was supposed to have been at Ft. Rucker?) Okay, everybody conspired to overlook that.
Nevertheless, there are no valid comparisons to be made with Drumpf and any other political figure in modern times.
Closest comparison, using a classical music analogy, is that of a piano poseur who claimed to channel Chopin, draping a pair of dirty socks he pilfered from the great man's laundry over his piano, the unforgettable Chopinzee.
Every chimp is more noble than Trump. I thought conservative politics had reached its nadir when I was a young woman, but I was so wrong.
Funny how you don't hear the Trump maniacs exclaiming how he'll take us back to the great accomplishments of the last time one of theirs had the White House.
I'm not gambling against Trump still taking my stupid Virginia County despite how he seems to now be torching himself every day. It went to McCain/Palin '08, Romney/Ryan '12, and Cuccinelli/Jackson/Obenshain '13(a trio of right-wing crazy for governor, lt. governor and attorney general), despite sense eventually triumphing for the state.
I had the same feeling myself. Trump makes W look good. Tell me again why I didn't like W? Why did I think W was the worst President since Buchanan? The reasons seem so trivial now that our own Mussolini is knocking on the door.
What gets me is even the Bush Family is smart enough not to endorse Trump and have made it clear they will not vote for him.
That makes them smarter than Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Reince Priebus and a host of other big wigs in the GOP.
Michael Steele has gleefully tweeted how he doesn't support Trump and won't vote for him. I think he's really enjoying this after the hard time he got and being replaced by the buffoon that put Trump on the ticket. Steele can say with a straight face that at least he didn't destroy the Republican Party.
I'll bet there are those looking back and wishing Michael Steele had still been in charge.
Hindsight is 20/20, but sorry, The eight years of the Bush Regime left us screwed big time, he spent the surplus left him, and then some, and it took Obama eight years almost to get us back on track. Bush actually believed what he did was right, and so would Trump, so it's a crapshoot. Trump is much more dangerous as far as I'm concerned. He has no boundaries and shoots from the hip.

And Dan Rather lost his job for inquiring about Bush's AWOL time.
