Is it Thanksgiving already? Well you know what that means.

I decided to post the Countdown version this year, which featured David Shuster sitting in for Keith Olbermann.

Of course almost all of the versions of this are fairly entertaining, but something about the classics just keeps us coming back to them.

Hey folks remember when people actually thought this moron might run for president?

Ah, good times.

    Oh! THAT Sarah.
I'm thankful I don't have to think about her today.

Perhaps this year she'll master Kraft Mac & Cheese.

I think she's very busy cooking a huge turkey and spread (not) because all she's tweeted today are the two words "Happy Thanksgiving!" No rambling lectures posted yet with a reference to the military and Trump and everyone's "God-given" whatevers.

  6. Instead of picking new cabinet members, this moronic mess is assembling the garden hose in the garage to use when everyone leaves the Thanksgiving brawl.
Tawd is sharpening the cheese knife to carve the turkey.
Piper is doing a last minute count of sporks and Chinette because no one knows how many extra children will show up.
Trig found a dawg to stand on so everything seems to be under control.

About Barren Trump. Their decision to keep him in his school is personal. He probably does have autism and that is reason enough. Obama girls had no problems, Bush girls initially said of their dad running "what are you doing to us, we're 18." Then quickly embraced their exciting life. Govs kids have no problems. Palins were all well-adjusted and still on the honor roll in their new schools and they had good calibre friends with whom they're still close. (In the end, the bullies and liars were too much for Bristol).

Track was in trouble while in High School, Bristol and Willow were in trouble with other girls because they were giving blowjobs in the High School stairwells. Both Bristol and Willow developed 'mono'/pregnancy and were taken out of Juneau High School.

@5:38, 'barren'? Can't you even understand what you try to read? BarrOn Trump. Are you the 'official' Palin family historian? You don't know any of them, and they have restraining orders against your fat ass, Alicia Mangelsdorf.

If Barron is autistic, then I get wanting to keep him in his current school, although I have a good friend with autistic children who moved mid-year. One is a very autistic child, one is mildly autistic, and one has some more minor developmental issues. She adopted four babies/toddlers from Central America and the disabilities showed later. She had her kids in a great school in NYC and then moved to the South and found an even better school. And this was done mid-year, during winter break. The kids were fine. But if keeping Barron in NYC till June is best, okay, I understand. Still, this is turning part of NYC into a zoo and costing millions. Why shouldn’t I be peeved that the Trumps think that six months of a-million-dollar-a-day costs is something taxpayers should handle and the city should just deal with all the chaos and possibly also losing security for others because so much security is placed on Trump Tower? And now NYC has to worry even more about terrorism. Is keeping Barron where he is for the next six months really worth that? I say no. The Trumps should pay for much of the cost. Barron could move and adjust. Parents and good teachers and doctors ensure this for children every day. Kids, including ones with disabilities, can adjust. The Trumps love their son, but what they are doing is a middle finger to the rest of the country and could end up putting the people at more risk.

Next year, it will be Trump out there pardoning turkeys. He’ll probably name them something like Stocks and Bonds or Silver and Gold. He’ll look like a doofus doing the kinds of things presidents do. Like the Easter egg roll. Will Barron be standing next to Trump during next year’s pardon, and will he be around for other activities at the WH that involve children? You’d think so. If at those times we don't see him or we don't see smiles and laughter and spontaneity that is normal from a child on such occasions, if the Trumps have kept Barron’s autism—if he has it--a secret until then, there will be so much whispering about "a problem.” Yes families are entitled to privacy, but when you’re the president of the US, certain things should be out in the open. Plus today we know as a society that there is nothing to be ashamed of and being open is healthy. If Barron is autistic and the Trumps don’t talk openly about it at some point, it will feel like the Kennedys keeping Rosemary’s disabilities a secret. He won’t be able to spend his four years (hopefully it won’t be eight) being able to be himself. There will be a concerted effort to keep his appearances limited and it will be as if the Trumps are always created a PR image of the family. Barron, if autistic, does not need to be part of a cause. I just think openness is the way to go.

You should worry about your own mental illness or drug/alcohol problem and leave Barron out of it.

The WKRP in Cincinnati still does it for me, but this one's a close second, knowing she, herself, chose the backdrop. She's a friend to animals great and small? Since never.
