Nate Silver's final forecast. Update: It looks like Sarah Palin is not letting the facts rain on her parade.

Remember this means nothing if you do not vote!

I am at the gym right now working to keep my damn blood pressure under control.

I know that some of you are avoiding all election coverage today, sadly as a political blogger I do not have that option.

Hopefully when I wake up tomorrow the world will be a little calmer, the sky a little bluer, and our  future a little brighter.

Update: Palin is packing up and preparing to participate in Trump's victory celebration. (Do you think we should tell her?):

Loading up this morning to depart for NYC. Trump must have the strength of Samson to have kept up his campaign schedule!

Trump's travels, rallies, interviews, media outreach, greetings, etc., are absolutely unsurpassed in the history of American politics, indicative of the energy he'll bring to DC (needed to drain the swamp). The candidate has done his part on the trail, now it's our turn. Remind him with your vote that you have his back.

 - Sarah Palin

Man I can hardly wait to read her Facebook freakout tomorrow.

(I know, I know, I'm evil.)

Update 2: Insecurity is not being sure even your own wife will vote for you.

Thank you for not avoiding coverage today. I, for one, will be checking in regularily. My absentee ballot was mailed in weeks ago,
To those going today, wear comfy shoes it seems the line is long.
If you are taking a senior citizen with you, bring a lawn chair or stool if necessary for them.
We all need to vote, let's not only take part in shattering the highest glass ceiling in the USA today, but keep this company safe from a would be dictator!

Nate Silver lost my following this year. Remember, he was all about Trump for a long time. Knew he was wrong - Hillary Clinton will be the winner and no one is going to pay much attention to Silver anymore.

Nate makes and changes his predictions according to a scientific polling process. His earlier predictions had nothing to do with being "all in" for tRump.

He still wasn't accurate in his indications.

I agree in that I don't think he's getting the following he once had. Didn't hear him mentioned much at all this election cycle.

He's become very conservative and cautious in his predictions after having his clock cleaned when Trump won the nomination. He predicted Trump would never win, never get close and was totally wrong. So he's been trying to play it safe. Probably too safe.

Cheaters gotta cheat and riggers gotta rig.

Traitor Trump doesn’t understand the American voting system so he is going to sue, guess no one in his campaign told him the polls stay open to everyone that was in line.

Incredulous Nevada judge slaps down Trump’s ‘voter fraud’ suit: ‘What are you asking for?’

Donald Trump’s presidential campaign sued the state of Nevada on Tuesday and alleged that hundreds of voters in Clark County were illegally allowed to vote after early voting hours had ended.

Judge Gloria Sturman, who heard the campaign’s case on Tuesday afternoon, sounded highly skeptical of the lawsuit — and often seemed incredulous at the Trump camp’s claims and requests.

In particular, she couldn’t seem to believe that the Trump campaign was asking her to order Clark County officials to preserve early voting records from the date of November 4th 2016. Sturman answered this request by noting that officials are already obligated to preserve these records.

“What are you asking for?” she asked a Trump attorney at one point. “I can’t obligate him to do something he’s already obligated to do — he’s already obligated to do it!”

Sturman also blasted the Trump attorney’s request to make a list of poll workers available to be interviewed by the campaign’s attorneys to talk about when they cut off voting on Friday evening.

“I am not going to expose people doing their civic duty to help their fellow citizens vote to public attention, ridicule and harassment,” she shot back at him......

Speaking of Fox, last night when Hillary had that huge rally with her family and the Obamas, CNN and MSNBC aired it, but Fox didn't. O'Reilly, Megyn Kelly, and Hannity had their regular shows on. They didn't even interrupt O'Reilly's silly segment with that idiot who mock interviews people on the street. At one point they just showed on the screen that the Boss was playing. That's it, back to the usual. Then later, when Trump's rally was going on at the same time, someone talked as side-by-side shots were shown of the rallies for a couple minutes. The Hillary rally shot was taken from the POV of being at the side of the stage and looking at her up there, so no one could see how massive the attendance was. Only much later did they flash a pic showing the large audience. Of course, almost all day the Trump rallies were shown. And because Hillary's with the Obamas got so much attention, all the channels showed all of Trump's final rally of the night and Hillary's with Gaga was in a small box on the screen for most of its time. And Trump's first rally of the day was before Hillary's and everyone showed it. Yet somehow, I guess, Fox thought showing Hillary's one in Phil would not be "fair and balanced." Overall this election season, Trump's rallies got so much more coverage. I get that Hillary had an amazing and far superior second-last rally last night that was visually stunning and Fox didn't want to air it and risk helping out Hillary, but it was also historic and they refused to air history.
