The full Bill Maher interview with President Obama.

I thought this was very interesting and informative.

I noticed that Maher tried to lead the President to remark on some fairly controversial issues like legalizing marijuana, single payer health care, and for profit news outlets, but he was fairly deft in avoiding too much controversy.

I also noticed how deferential Maher was and how star struck he was to be in the presence of a man who he clearly admires greatly.

I should also point out that the rest of the show Friday night was not exactly a laugh fest.

Bill Maher shared his stress over this election with the audience and his panel, and at times I began to think he might have to take a break in the middle of the show to go smoke a little pot and calm down.

However I really cannot say that I blame him as my own emotions have been all over the place and at this point I just want the whole damn thing to end so that I can start worrying about something else, ANYTHING else.

BTW this is the full 37 minute interview which is longer than the 18 minute one shown on Real Time last night, and yes it will help ease your mind.

I have no sympathy. He puts this $hit into his future and it shows up in his present, and then he bitches? He should take Physics 101.

    Oh, and fuck Mitch McConnell.

The one-minute "Roar" ad features subtitles naming what various Americans are voting for, as well as one that says "I am voting against hate," and it includes footage from Clinton rallies. It will air in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, the campaign said.

153 things Donald Trump has said and done that, in a normal election, would disqualify a nominee

With just three days until Election Day, Hillary Clinton just dropped a bombshell reminding us why Donald Trump is totally unfit to be president.

The list could go on and on but Hillary and her team settled on just 153 things the Republican nominee has said and done that would disqualify anyone else in a normal election.

I thought Martin Short was great. Astute and gave a Canadian viewpoint. We need that. Someone observing from outside. Of course, what does he have to be scared of? He can always return to Canada.

I turned it off because David Frumm didn't want anyone else to say anything. When he got started on his "Democrats-are-responsible-for-the-demise-of-the-GOP" nonsense, I just gave up.

Martin Short is an American citizen but yea, I'm sure he can go back to Canada if he wants to.

I liked what David Frumm said trying to point out the delegitimization of our public institutions. That is the insidious agenda of the GOP.

I was glad to see Bill finally got to interview Obama as he has been everywhere else...even Samantha Bee. Bill did ask some diff questions but I really wish someone would deal with that pipeline & the protesters....what they are doing to those people is immoral, downright nasty and wtf? The assholes that took over a federal building using guns got no jail time but these lawful protestors are getting shoved into the water and shot with rubber bullets.

I can't help but comment on this, as I talk to my daughter everyday as she travels....Japan (around 5 cities), Indonesia, Malaysia now Singapore....they all want to know what the f____is happening over here? Now she is not hanging with some rich people...hiking, scuba diving, staying in hostels gives you the young travelers and the working class. Everyone is downright scared. America is their dream world...even if its not true, they still want to believe.

Trump will not be their president, Pence will be calling the shots...I still have faith the bulk of this country will elect Hillary. We need the senate

Whatever you write about it will be writing hate. You can't live without writing hate. Hate for Palin. Hate for Sanders. Hate for Trump. You certainly are a bi-partisan hater. Try Trump's wife. That should give you plenty of hate to write about. You will have 4 years of writing hate about Clinton! Hate! Hate! Hate! You couldn't live without it.

How can one hate somebody that one has not a shred of respect for? Think about it.

Bill Maher was certainly on his best behavior and he asked some really good, necessary questions. I was very impressed--as a comedian, he's got better journalism skills than most journalists. I was also impressed by President Obama, who was making his points and throwing some excellent shade.

  10. President Obama calls being POTUS "a great privilege". Trump Jr. tells us that being POTUS would be a "step down" for his father. Why hire someone who thinks they already have a better job than the one you have to offer?
