Bill Clinton lambasts Donald Trump in interview. "He doesn't know much." And of course Trump responds.

Courtesy of CNN:

Bill Clinton says President-elect Donald Trump "doesn't know much," but that "one thing he does know is how to get angry, white men to vote for him," according to a local paper near the Clintons' New York home.

Hard to argue with that.

Clinton also said he knew why his wife lost the election:

"James Comey cost her the election," Clinton said during a lengthy conversation, according to the paper. He argued that "we were seven points up" in polls and on track to win, before the FBI director made an 11th-hour announcement that the bureau's probe into Hillary Clinton's email use as Secretary of State was being reexamined in light of potential new evidence.

The FBI never changed its conclusion that Clinton shouldn't be punished related to her email use, but Bill Clinton said the high-profile focus on the story so close to the election inflicted significant damage on the campaign.

"I watched her work for two years, I watched her battle through that bogus email deal, be vindicated at the end when Secretary Powell came out -- she fought through that, she fought through everything," he said. "She prevailed against it all. But at the end, she had the Russians and the FBI deal. She couldn't prevail against that. She did everything else and still won by 2.8 million votes."

Once again, Clinton is essentially agreeing with a whole lot of political pundits as well as folks who worked on the Clinton campaign, including his own wife.

And you might as well put me in that category, because I agree as well.

Clinton also had this to say about Putin's hackers:

"You would have to have a single-digit IQ not to recognize what was going on."

That kind of explains why so many Trump supporters refuse to accept what happened in this election.

However it seemed that this final statement proved too much for the Donald:

Later, Clinton marveled at Trump's tone during a phone call the day after the election, saying that Trump acted "like it was 15 years ago," when he was still friendly with the family.

Still, despite Trump's overtures, Clinton seemed less inclined to let bygones be bygones, slipping in a dig at Trump's claim that he won a "landslide" victory. "Landslide? I got something like 370 electoral votes. That was a landslide," he said.

I bet you can"t guess how Trump responded to that.

Yeah, on Twitter. How did you guess?

Okay so here we are left with a dilemma.

Did Bill Clinton, as man that President Obama called "The Explainer-in-Chief," lie about who made this phone call?

Or is Donald Trump, a man who Politifact characterized as the least truthful candidate in 2016, perhaps lying his ass off?

Gee, that is a conundrum.

Of course he doesn't know much, and if he CARED to learn he'd stay off Twitter disparaging every comment made against him.

He's already said that Pence will be in charge of running the country. He has no clue how to.

Oh boy, just wait until Trump has to deal with a real problem. What's he going to do, signal his intentions via twitter. What an asshat. The Clintons are so much better than he is. Trump thinks that the campaign was one thing but now everyone should just forgive and forget - not bloody likely.

The people who voted for this guy believing all his lies are still living in la-la land. He's already back pedalled on prosecuting HRC, the big wall that Mexico will pay for and other things -- even being so bold as to tell his fans that he doesn't need them anymore since he's won and that things he said during the campaign don't count any more. What a bunch of idiots.

  4. Trump doesn't know how to read. That article doesn't explicitly say who called whom. It says ..."Clinton marveled at Trump's tone during a phone call the day after the election.."

Is there another interview with Bill somewhere that states Trump called Clinton...?

I thought it was customary for the loser of the election to make a concession call to the winner after the official results were called.

Could that be what they are referring to? But yes, you are correct, it was left ambiguous who called whom.

      Delete
    2. Hillary did that.

There is nothing demanding that Bill make any sort of call.

At this point, so long after the election, I'd say it was Trump reaching out to Bill for some reason. Trying to make nice after the Electoral College or some such bullshit.

He thinks politics is like business. That good old boys forgive and forget and move on. Not necessarily. Certainly not after this particular ugly, ugly election.

Trump hates to be hated. He demanded approval in all things from anyone. The least bit of criticism hurts. Sounds like he can't stand that the Clintons, who he used to think of as friends or at least pleasant acquaintances (or who could be useful in the future) have turned against him.

To which I say DUH. Did you listen to yourself?

"A new Texas nonprofit led by Donald Trump’s grown sons is offering access to the freshly-minted president during inauguration weekend — all in exchange for million-dollar donations to unnamed “conservation” charities, according to interviews and documents reviewed by the Center for Public Integrity.

And the donors’ identities may never be known."

Conservation? With that Fascist Oligarch of a Cabinet? Surely you jest.

"Website TMZ.com first published a brochure hyping the happening. The brochure says that “all net proceeds from the Opening Day event will be donated to conservation charities,” but it does not name the charities or detail how net proceeds will be calculated."

Typical Trump grifting. They are masters.

"A Center for Public Integrity review of Texas incorporation records found the Opening Day Foundation was created less than a week ago, on Dec. 14. Unlike political committees, such nonprofits aren’t required by law to reveal their donors, allowing sponsors to write seven-figure checks for access to the president while staying anonymous, if they choose."

"The paperwork for the Opening Day Foundation listed four directors: Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, Dallas investor Gentry Beach and Tom Hicks Jr., the son of a Dallas billionaire.

Beach and Hicks are reportedly close friends with Donald Trump Jr., and both men helped raise millions of dollars for Trump’s campaign."

You know what kind of conservationists Jr and Eric are.

"The brochure for “Opening Day 2017,” an event described as “honoring President Donald J. Trump,” offers sponsor packages ranging from $25,000 to $1 million. The event will “celebrate the great American tradition of outdoor sporting, shooting, fishing and conservation,” the brochure states."

Why would Donald Trump take the side of Putin over the entire United States of America Intelligence Community?

Donald Trump now has the entire Secret Service protecting him for the rest of life but does he trust them like he trusts America's Intelligence Community?

Why in hell does Trump has to have his own Secret Police? Is he mentally sick with a Paranoid Personality Disorder? Why a personal secret police force?

Hearing this reminds me of Hitler, Putin and all the other dictators in this world who have their own secret police.

We should not have to fear a president who is protected by the Secret Service along with a police force that the public is aware of.

Should we fear President Trump who has his own secret police who can do things the Secret Service won't do for him like illegally investigate Americans who Trump thinks is his personal enemies and perform other underhanded services they provide for him?

GOP Senators Ignore Trump And Vow To Move Forward On Russian Hacking Investigation

If the proposed bill passes, it "would mandate a new select Senate committee on cybersecurity" which would investigate the election-season cyber attack.

Mitch McConnell didn’t want a select panel because he knew about the hacking activities in October and rejected a proposed joint bipartisan statement with President Obama before election day.

By sending the investigation to a regular committee, McConnell is hoping to tap down the level of publicity that the investigation could generate. A select panel will be a big screaming red flag to the mainstream media. The press will be looking for stories on the new Trump administration, and a select panel would be the perfect fit to dominate cable news.

Gingrich says Trump can’t be expected to follow ethics laws, so Congress should change them for him

...“We’ve never seen this kind of wealth in the White House, and so traditional rules don’t work,” Gingrich said during a panel discussion on “The Diane Rehm Show.” “We’re going to have to think up a whole new approach.”

The “new approach” Gingrich has in mind also involves Trump liberally using his pardon powers to extract his advisers — including, at least during the presidential transition, three of his adult children — from whatever legal troubles they might find themselves in.

“In the case of the president, he has a broad ability to organize the White House the way he wants to. He also has, frankly, the power of the pardon,” Gingrich said, in comments first covered by Politico. “It’s a totally open power. He could simply say, ‘Look, I want them to be my advisers. I pardon them if anyone finds them to have behaved against the rules. Period.’ Technically, under the Constitution, he has that level of authority.”

Gingrich suggested Congress should consider changing ethics laws so Trump can freely intermingle his business interests and duties as president. He also floated the idea of a Trump-created “panel” led by former government officials that can help monitor his conflicts of interest.

The Many Problems with the Trump Kids’ Scheme to Sell Access to Their Father on Inauguration Weekend
    By Josh Voorhees
    Dec. 20 2016 2:17 PM

Donald Trump’s adult sons have found yet another way to benefit from their father’s name. The Center for Public Integrity reports that a new nonprofit led by Don Jr. and Eric Trump is promising inauguration weekend-access to the next president of the United States in exchange for six- and seven-figure donations, which the group says it will then pass along to unnamed charities after it recoups the costs of staging the event at a Washington convention center.
According to a flier for the Jan. 21, 2017 event—attire: “Camouflage & Cufflinks”—ponying up $1 million will get you a “private reception and photo opportunity for 16 guests with President Donald J. Trump,” a “multi-day hunting and/or fishing excursion for 4 guests with Donald Trump, Jr. and/or Eric Trump,” and a host of other perks. The packages on offer get smaller from there, but those who spend $250,000 still get direct access to the president, albeit the reception and photo-op is limited to four people. Net proceeds, according to the flier, will be donated to unnamed “conservation” charities, which given the Trump sons’ big-game pastimes, and the family’s general disdain for climate science, presumably skew toward the hunting-and-fishing variety as opposed to groups like the Sierra Club....

Trump is so hung up on who called whom. I do believe Clinton made the call because it was in the news right after the election before any forgetting might set in about such matters. The main point should be what Clinton said about Lardass being "strangely cordial," as if things had never changed from those old days of the families being friendly with one another. Trump trashed the Clintons and said the most horrible things about both and sunk so low bringing in people like Paula Jones to the debate, and so on--and he thought things would just be friendly as could be now? No way. I know the Clintons have thick skins and they will always do what they can, too, to help the country, but no way should either ever be friendly or helpful to the Trump family of assholes again. That includes b-i Ivanka. Trump usually does lie about all sorts of small things. I do, though, think clinton called him this time. But an examp[le of that freak's lying is what he said re Clinton calling him out of the blue at one point in time and saying he ought to run for pres. No way do I believe that. And I believe Bill's words to Stephen Colbert that Ivanka had told Chelsea that her dad wanted to talk to Bill and Bill said okay and gave him a call.

"The warrant connected to the FBI search that Hillary Clinton says cost her the election shouldn’t have been granted, three of the nation’s top legal experts, who reviewed the document released on Tuesday, told The Huffington Post."

Of course it was released Tuesday. AFTER the Electoral College voted.

Donald is a consequence of the millions of borderline retarded, ignorant republicans who voted for him. Republicans of ordinary means are generally folks of severely limited abilities (like the ability to spot a lying con man). They embody all the characteristics of those we remember as the slow kids in the class. I call them sheeple. They are gullible anti-intellectual simpletons.

That tweet Trump made re China and the drone is so strange. The guy has won the presidency and yet wi tweeting in a manner of someone still in the middle of the election. His "We should" in "We should tell China" that we don't want the drone back really reflects that Trump is not thinking like someone who is about to be president. He's doing his usual criticizing of the present admin in the words he uses. He's not even thinking, it seems, about the fact that he is pres-elect. Instead of making a call to Pres Obama or someone else in-the-know to say what he wants to say, he just throws out a tweet that makes it sound like he has absolutely no authority and no connections.

And, of course, his first tweet went out 4 hours after the matter had been resolved. I read an article about how he could have known this if he'd taken his daily briefing.

  40. Michael Flynn met with Nazi Party Leader.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trump-flynn-freedom-party-nazis_us_5859367ee4b08debb78af7c2?section=us_politics

"General Mike Flynn, Donald Trump’s pick to serve as his national security adviser, met several weeks ago with Heinz-Christian Strache, the head of Austria’s anti-immigrant Freedom Party, which was founded after World War II by former Nazis."

"Strache described the meeting, which was first reported by The New York Times, on his Facebook page, where he also announced signing a “cooperation pact” with Russian President Vladimir Putin."

"“This is not just any opposition party: It is one with Nazi sympathies,” said Daniel Serwer, a former state department official who’s now a professor at the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University. “Nor is Flynn any national security adviser. He is a documented conspiracy propagator. His long-term strategy colleague, Steve Bannon, is an ethnic nationalist and anti-Semite. The president-elect is an anti-Muslim and anti-immigration bigot.” "

"The Freedom Party’s first leader was Anton Reinthaller, who supported the Nazi party as early as 1928 and later served as a Nazi government official. Reinthaller was a member of the SS, the Nazi paramilitary organization-turned-secret police that executed much of the Holocaust. Although there’s no clear evidence that Reinthaller was directly involved in the shooting, gassing and torture of millions of Jews, Roma, communists, gay people and others, he served in the government that carried it out and did nothing to stop it."

Most of America's hate groups are rooted in white supremacy

In the aftermath of the tumultuous 2016 election, some Americans have become obsessed with debunking the “alt-right” — a fringe white nationalist movement that frequently espouses racist, anti-Semitic, Islamophobic, and sexist ideologies.

Though major media organizations have struggled to define the movement, the alt-right presents very little that is new: As Vox’s Jenée Desmond-Harris writes, it champions an amalgamation of various age-old positions held by white supremacist groups, and is merely marketed in a “more palatable” way.

But what are these white supremacist groups it draws from? What exactly are the distinctions among them? And which elements has the alt-right adopted from each?

I know why people don't trust Hillary. Body language. She needed to copy the con, show her palms all the time. She does not show her palms but just points and that is ordering. That works with dummies. Now with intelligent people, they listen mostly but still have a link to her no palms but, use brains over that.

Donald Trump and Sarah Palin are soul siblings: they both are grossly immature and petty besides. They hold grudges forever, and are incapable of admitting their own failures. And now, Donald Trump is going to have his finger on the nuclear button. God help the human race and all of the animals that dwell here too and the plant life and the waters, whether fresh or salty.

I don't have any thing against old folks but this election was strange! And old man grand pa tweeting like insane chit causing global chaos and behaving like a moronic gullible ape? And then lying like influenza brat boy from hell? And then act like nothing has happened? Really? It is sick and classic family mental illness. His family enables him every day and have the same disease. And now America must Deal with the Art of the Deal that We The Majority of People did not elect nor approve of.
