Holocaust attorney files lawsuit to learn what justification the FBI used for interfering in the 2016 election.

James Comey
Courtesy of Raw Story:

E. Randol Schoenberg, an attorney renowned for recovering artworks stolen by Nazis during the Holocaust, filed a lawsuit against the FBI this week to get answers about why Director James Comey falsely suggested that Hillary Clinton committed a crime just days before the 2016 election.

“I filed a lawsuit today against the US Department of Justice seeking immediate disclosure of the FBI search warrant for the e-mails of Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin on Anthony Weiner’s laptop,” Schoenberg wrote on his Facebook page on Wednesday. “I think we need to see what ‘probable cause’ was shown for obtaining the search warrant, because whoever thought there was going to be evidence of a crime was obviously mistaken. And that mistake probably changed the outcome of the election.”

In a blog post late last month, Schoenberg explained that it would be very unusual for a judge to grant the FBI a search warrant “[s]imply because someone has the ability to commit the crime of intentionally violating laws governing the handling of classified information.”

“To obtain a warrant it had to establish probable cause to believe that evidence of a crime would be found.

Since we now know that no such evidence was found on the laptop, it is time to investigate why the FBI believed it had probable cause.”

One possible theory, Schoenberg said, is that “the new allegations came from people associated with the Trump campaign.”

You know what, I'd like to learn the answer to this as well.

Schoenberg implicated Chris Christie and Rudy Giuliani as possibly being involved, and suggested that if this does lead back to Donald Trump that he could face impeachment.

I have serious doubts about that last part, but I would still like to know what kind of behind the scenes manipulations were used to convince James Comey to risk his reputation and his future to undermine Hillary Clinton and throw the race to Donald Trump.

I think as Americans we all deserve an answer to that.

I am wondering if Comey was compromised in some way? Was he blackmailed in order to come out with that false flag? Time to investigate his background. Is there a woman in the background, or seeing he is a repub. a MAN? Had this dirty trick been pulled on a repub candidate, there would be investigations for the next 4 years, believe that.

We can all recognize now that Comey has absolutely no integrity. He should be fired. If he had any self respect he would resign. What am I saying? IF he had any integrity, he would NEVER have pulled this crap. He is unfit to lead anyone.

@5:55>One thought>"What is the difference between Sedition and Treason?
Whom and how many should be charged with what Rule of Law? MINDBOGGLING!

      • Sedition is a crime against one’s own state, and so is treason, but treason is considered far more serious crime than sedition.

      • Speaking against the government or engaging in acts of defiance are termed as sedition and anti-sedition laws are applied on such individuals or organizations.

      • In modern times, freedom of speech protects the right of individuals and governments cannot take action against their citizens merely on grounds of defiance or opposition.

      • Espionage and helping the enemy state to overthrow one’s own government is considered treason
"TREASON is a concept that overlaps with sedition. It refers to acts of brazen defiance against one’s own government in a bid to bring harm or to overthrow the government in place. If you owe allegiance to your government but do something to overthrow the government or betray your state by harming its interests and by helping an enemy state, you are liable to be charged with treason. In earlier times, a servant killing his master or a wife running away with another man were considered as examples of treason. But in modern times, the act of a citizen that helps a foreign government to overthrow the government in place is considered an act of treason. Compromising with the security interests of one’s own country by helping an enemy state is also treason. Obviously declaring a war against one’s government in place is an act of treason."

Yet, they pretend to be so moral, so high and mighty. Most of them make me want to vomit. Very few have integrity. At least Lindsey Graham will stand up to the evil tyrant and Kasich seems to. The rest are dirty boot licking criminals. I heard an asshole, was in another room so not sure who it was, criticizing a woman who had to flee Russia with her family because of the persecution they were under. I hope he has to go live there under Putin. He was defending Russia. Why are Republicans so suddenly in the pockets of Russia? Is Putin paying them under the table? Democrats need to stand up and fight and quit being cowards.

I, too, would like to know what was behind this AND the hacking of DNC. It all smells to high heavens. If it had happened to the Reoublicans, they would be calling for special committees to investigate. As it is, the R's are totally fine with it.

It's a disgrace that our elected Democrats are not raising hell about this, and are just letting a possibly stolen election go, once again. AND why haven't the elected Democrats called for a investigation of the FBI interfering in an election, why does it take an attorney to do this.

I am just disgusted with our elected Democrats they just are too meek.

    WP:
This is what happens when Donald Trump attacks a private citizen on Twitter

About a year ago, 18-year-old college student Lauren Batchelder stood up at a political forum in New Hampshire and told Donald Trump that she didn’t think he was “a friend to women.”

The next morning, Trump fired back on Twitter — calling Batchelder an “arrogant young woman” and accusing her of being a “plant” from a rival campaign. Her phone began ringing with callers leaving threatening messages that were often sexual in nature. Her Facebook and email inboxes filled with similar messages. As her addresses circulated on social media and her photo flashed on the news, she fled home to hide.

“I didn’t really know what anyone was going to do,” said Batchelder, now 19, who has never discussed her experience with a reporter until now. “He was only going to tweet about it and that was it, but I didn’t really know what his supporters were going to do, and that to me was the scariest part.”

This is what happens when Trump targets a private citizen who publicly challenges him.

AMERICAN CALVARY COMING TO THE RESCUE?

    Republicans VS Comrade Trump?

    WASHINGTON POST:
Republicans ready to launch wide-ranging probe of Russia, despite Trump’s stance

Leading Senate Republicans are preparing to launch a coordinated and wide-ranging probe into Russia’s alleged meddling in the U.S. elections and its potential cyberthreats to the military, digging deep into what they view as corrosive interference in the nation’s institutions.

Such an aggressive approach puts them on a direct collision course with President-elect Donald Trump, who downplays the possibility Russia had any role in the November elections — arguing that a hack of the Democratic National Committee emails may have been perpetrated by “some guy in his home in New Jersey.” The fracture could become more prominent after Trump is inaugurated and begins setting foreign policy. He has already indicated that the country should “get along” with Russia since the two nations have many common strategic goals.

Of course Guiliani was involved, and believes he should get the SOS position because of it. Why is this not being investigated by the Dems? And the Russia hacking and Trump's denial should be much bigger news. It all started with Manafort and his cozy relationship with the Russians. All trump had to do was dump Manafort and the press drops the story like a hot potato and moves back to the latest Kardashian stunt. Jesus, we are so screwed.

"“It’s pretty clear to me that WikiLEAKS was designed to hurt (Democratic presidential nominee Hillary) Clinton and it could be us tomorrow,” Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) told CNN Thursday, saying he would be doing his own investigations into Russia’s hacking of the U.S. election.

Graham said he believes Russia “did interfere with our elections” and added, “I’m going after Russia in every way you can go after Russia. I want Putin personally to pay a price.”it wouldn’t be unexpected to see horrific accusations made against Swalwell, Cummings, Graham, or even McCain or any other elected official who supports and advocates going after Russia.
