Putin says he will not kick out American diplomats in retaliation for sanctions. Will instead wait for his puppet to take power and set things right. Update!

Courtesy of Politico:

Russian President Vladimir Putin will not kick out American diplomats in response to President Barack Obama's expulsion of 35 alleged Russian spies.

"Although we have the right to retaliate," Putin said in a statement, "we will not resort to irresponsible 'kitchen' diplomacy but will plan our further steps to restore Russian-U.S. relations based on the policies of the Trump Administration."

"We will not create any problems for U.S. diplomats," he added. "We will not expel anyone."

Yeah, why bother when all he has to do is wait for the president he chose to run the country to do away with the sanctions?

Putin says jump and Donald Trump says "Yeah look I'm really to fat to jump, how about I just give you access to all of our state secrets?"

This now means that all eyes will be on Doanld Trump after he takes office, and if he does ANYTHING to repeal or relax the sanctions against Russia that will be proof positive that he gets his marching orders from Moscow.

Update: Trump responds.
Okay, so that just happened.

You know the trick behind being a good ventriloquist is to not let the audience see your lips moving, so it appears the dummy is doing the speaking.

Putin clearly needs more practice.

The only people hurt by irresponsible MSM blasting peoples private legal issues are kids. Which is why future thinking, mature parents close proceedings. Kids loves parents no matter what and are taught to think the unscrupulous media and media wannabees are pathetic. But I wish more people would remember blasting private information is not a statement on the subjects, but a huge indication the person blasting it is a deeply problematic person. In this case, it's a 50 something single unhappy man with no moral compass and who has abused children in the same manner before.

Greg Sargent argues in today’s Washington Post that “The Trump camp’s spin on Russian interference is falling apart.” It’s amazing it held together even five minutes, but you need to talk to the mainstream media about that.

“Consider,” he says, “the buffoonishly weak response of two of his top advisers to the news of the last 24 hours.”

...“All of this comes across as exactly what it is: Nothing more than a continued effort to downplay the seriousness of the charges of Russian interference. That’s the posture the Trump camp is stuck in right now, due to the decision from the guy at the top to continue waving away this story as if it doesn’t matter.”

There is just too much pressure to push forward with investigations for Trump to escape them. And it is not like hawkish John McCain is going to bend over backward to do Donald Trump any favors. McCain already doesn’t like Russia – or Trump. Yes, Trump has burned a few bridges on his way to the top.

Other Republicans aren’t so eager to forget the whole thing either, as Sargent points out, naming GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger, who said he can’t defend Trump’s position and has no intention of doing so: ““We can try to have a better relationship with Russia, but we also have to defend ourselves.”

Time, Sargent says, is going to catch up to Donald Trump and facts are not going to be his friend in this any more than any other endeavor he has flooded with lies and misdirection.

Trump Is Desperately Seeking A Latino For His Cabinet

...Maldonado met with the president-elect on Wednesday at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate. On the surface, Abel would bring a compelling back story. The son of immigrant farm workers from Mexico, he built his family's plot from "a half acre of strawberries into a farm that now works over 6,000 acres and employs over 250 people and ships produce all over the world," according to one bio. With his daughter, he runs a winery called Runway Vineyards.

But his ag businesses have had their own troubles. Agro-Jal, Maldanado's produce farm, "has accumulated dozens of violations from Cal/OSHA since 1990, hundreds of thousands of dollars in tax liens, and multiple citations for exposing workers to toxic pesticides and skirting clean water regulations, government records show," The Los Angeles Times reported in 2010. Maldonado he was a victim of overzealous regulators, the Times added.

In 2015, the operation was hit with a class-action suit from former workers alleging unpaid minimum and overtime wages, as well as denial of sufficient breaks and meal periods. The suit is ongoing and now in the discovery phase, Allen Hutkin, the San Luis Obispo lawyer who filed the suit on behalf of the workers, told me.

The Trump supporters are 100 percent right: The information is delegitimizing. The president-elect of the United States reportedly owes his office in considerable part to illegal clandestine activities in his favor conducted by a hostile, foreign spy service. It’s hard to imagine a crisis of presidential legitimacy more extreme than that. But that’s no argument against airing this information. It’s precisely why the information must be aired.

Donald Trump's biggest creditor, Deutsche Bank, is seeking to restructure some of the president-elect's debt, Bloomberg reports. Trump's companies owe the German lender at least $364 million, more than half of his total $713 million debt load, and his loans with the bank—a potential source of leverage over the incoming commander-in-chief—pose a significant conflict of interest.

The warning signs of fascism that Americans should be watching for under president Anus Mouth

“When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross,” goes the aphorism commonly attributed (perhaps mistakenly) to Sinclair Lewis. The election of soon-to-be president Donald Trump suggests the prediction may turn out to have been only half-true.

As Trump opponents nervously await his inauguration, many are wondering about how to discern the potential signposts of American fascism in the making. What legislative markers should we look for as the government trundles toward authoritarianism, dragging the world’s foremost attempt at democracy into at least four years of retrograde policy and pronouncement?

With 2016 drawing mercifully to a close, it’s worth looking towards eastern Europe for a sense of what Washington, and those who would unravel liberal (as opposed to illiberal) democracy in America, may have in store. In a way, it is fitting that autocracy in the US might most closely mirror the government with the most political capital invested in Trump’s election. Putting aside concerns about potential future friction between Trump and Vladimir Putin, the president-elect’s victory has dealt a staggering blow to the West’s efforts to counteract Russia’s influence.

FBI Analysis Fingers Russian Spy Agencies For U.S. Election Hacks

The FBI squarely blamed Russian intelligence services on Thursday for meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, releasing the most definitive report yet on the issue, including samples of malicious computer code said to have been used in a broad hacking campaign.

Starting in mid-2015, Russia’s foreign intelligence agency, the FSB, emailed a malicious link to more than 1,000 recipients, including U.S. government targets, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said in a 13-page report co-authored with the Department of Homeland Security. (bit.ly/2iuT8cp)

While the Department of Homeland Security and Office of the Director of National Intelligence had said Russia was behind the hacking in October, the report is the first detailed technical analysis provided by the government and the first official FBI statement.

Russia has consistently denied the hacking allegations.

The FBI issued its report on the same day that President Barack Obama announced a series of retaliatory measures, including the expulsion of 35 Russian intelligence operatives and the sanctioning of the GRU and FSB. The Kremlin denounced the sanctions as unlawful and promised “adequate” retaliation.

According to the FBI report, among the groups compromised by the FSB hacks was the Democratic National Committee, which was again infiltrated in early 2016 by another Russian agency, the military GRU.

The Trump camp’s spin on Russian interference is falling apart

...But how much longer can Trump really sustain his dismissive, nonchalant posture towards Russia’s alleged assault on our democracy?

...All of this comes across as exactly what it is: Nothing more than a continued effort to downplay the seriousness of the charges of Russian interference. That’s the posture the Trump camp is stuck in right now, due to the decision from the guy at the top to continue waving away this story as if it doesn’t matter.

But time is not on the Trump camp’s side here. For one thing, note that Trump has now agreed to sit for an intelligence briefing on the evidence of Russian interference, which itself shows he now recognizes the need to pretend to want to be informed of the facts about this matter.

For another, the intelligence community is set to release a report in early January documenting that evidence.

David Fahrenthold tells the behind-the-scenes story of his year covering Trump

...My other suspicion was that Trump was still sitting on the bulk of the money he had raised for veterans — including the $1 million he had promised from himself.

I asked Trump’s people to account for all this money. They didn’t.

Then, finally, I got a call.

“The money is fully spent,” Corey Lewandowski, then Trump’s campaign manager, told me in late May. “Mr. Trump’s money is fully spent.”

But, Lewandowski told me, the details of Trump’s $1 million in gifts were secret. He wouldn’t say which groups Trump had donated to. Or when. Or in what amounts.

This was an important assertion — that Trump had delivered on a signature campaign promise — made without proof. I didn’t want to just take Lewandowksi’s word for it.

So I tried to prove him right.

I spent a day searching for Trump’s money on Twitter, asking vets’ organizations if they’d gotten any of it. I used Trump’s Twitter handle, @realdonaldtrump, because I wanted Trump to see me searching.

    Trump saw.

The next night, he called me to say he had just then given away the $1 million, all in one swoop, to a nonprofit run by a friend. That meant when Lewandowski said Trump’s money was “fully spent,” it was actually still in Trump’s pocket.

On the phone, I asked Trump: Would you really have given this money away if I hadn’t been asking about it?

If James Comey, the F.B.I. director, hadn’t tipped the scales in the campaign’s final days with that grotesquely misleading letter, right now an incoming Clinton administration would be celebrating some very good news. Because health reform, President Obama’s signature achievement, is stabilizing after a bumpy year.

This means that the huge gains achieved so far — tens of millions of newly insured Americans and dramatic reductions in the number of people skipping treatment or facing financial hardship because of cost — look as if they’re here to stay.

Or they would be here to stay if the man who squeaked into power thanks to Mr. Comey and Vladimir Putin wasn’t determined to betray his supporters, and snatch away the health care they need.

Democrats to Demand Trump Veto Changes to Medicare and Social Security

The top Democrats in the House and Senate want President-elect Donald Trump to pledge to veto legislation that would slash Medicare and Social Security benefits.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi of California and incoming Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer of New York joined with Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., in a “Dear Colleague” letter that asks members of Congress to hold rallies and events on Jan. 15 (the Sunday before Trump’s inauguration) to oppose the Republican budget plan.

The budget plans of the Republican majorities in the House and Senate are likely vehicles for the GOP to repeal Obamacare, with changes to Medicare and Medicaid as a result.

“Millions of Americans voted for Donald Trump after he promised not to cut Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. He must be held to his promises and should veto any legislation which cuts these vital and necessary health programs,” Pelosi, Sanders and Schumer wrote.

Sanders’ efforts to organize the rallies are part of his new role on Schumer’s expanded leadership team, as coordinator of outreach efforts for the Senate Democratic caucus in the 115th Congress that’s set to begin Jan. 3.

The beauty of Obama's action is that no matter how much the right starts to whine and scream, it boils down to this:

    a) If Trump does not rectify this, then he angers his Kremlin handlers.

    b) If Trump does reverse this, he is in effect condoning espionage against the US and returning foreign agents to US soil.

People complained when Obama didn't move fast enough to their liking about the matter. Goes to show that it's not about knee-jerk reactions, it's about strategy. #ThanksObama for being the adult in the room.

Sarah Palin Gets Her A** Handed To Her For Calling On Trump To Pull America Out Of The United Nations

Sarah Palin opened her mouth again and people quickly corrected her stupidity.

...Last time I checked, it’s not a revolution when a presidential candidate loses the popular vote by nearly 3 million votes and has one of the smallest margins of victory in the electoral vote in history.

But Palin crowed about her interview on Twitter and was soon put in her place by people with functioning brains.

...Indeed, not only would America become isolationist, it would be giving up international power and prestige and the power vacuum in the United Nations would be filled by Russia and China, both of which certainly do not have our best interests at heart.

I have reflected carefully on both sides of the issue, prayed a lot, talked with family and friends, and searched my soul. I have highly valued the mission of the Choir to be good- will ambassadors for Christ, to share beautiful music and to give hope, inspiration, and comfort to others. "Or is this going to be part of the revolution that we have just seen, that did elect Trump? It’s we the people needing to step up and do it. It’s our government."
    -Sarah Palin

    PSST SARAH TRUMP,
HILLARY CLINTON WON THE POPULAR VOTE BY ALMOST 3,000,000 VOTES SO EVEN THOUGH TRUMP WILL BE PRESIDENT, TRUMP DOESN'T HAVE A MANDATE BY THE AMERICAN PEOPLE

Sarah Palin wants America to be “unshackled” from the UN

Former half-term Alaska governor Sarah Palin says she believes President-elect Donald Trump should engage in an “unshackling of the political bands tying us to the UN.”

When asked by Breitbart how Trump could handle the UN’s resolution last Friday to criticize Israel for continuing to build settlements in East Jerusalem and Palestinian territories, Palin recommended two measures.

“One is, I called for our next president, Donald Trump, to call for the unshackling of the political bands tying us to the UN,” Palin said. “By exiting the UN, where injustice is actually rewarded, we then will be able to uphold America’s reputation as the leader, and as the kind and compassionate and generous nation that we are – as the nation sharing values that, when emulated by any other nation, can bring justice and equal rights to any other nation.” Palin continued:

But the other way to look at this is, is it really going to be one person, one leader’s responsibility to do so? Or is this going to be part of the revolution that we have just seen, that did elect Trump? It’s we the people needing to step up and do it. It’s our government. It’s our money funding the lion’s share of the globalist circus. It’s we the people needing to rise up and make this a part of the revolution that we have just so benefited from.

Earlier in the interview, Palin pointed to the Brexit vote as a sign that nations could leave international bodies with which they’re dissatisfied

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir will sing in Washington DC for Hitler

Mormon Tabernacle Choir singer resigns so she doesn’t have to perform for Donald Trump: “I could never ‘throw roses to Hitler.’ And I certainly could never sing for him.”

Choir member Jan Chamberlin posted a resignation letter that she says she sent to choir leaders on her Facebook page Thursdaym Dec. 29, 2016. In it, she writes that by performing at the inaugural, the 360-member Choir will appear to be “endorsing tyranny and facism” and says she feels “betrayed” by the choir’s decision to take part.

  38. This story is right up there with the WMD story that got us stuck in the middle east. For starters, think about this. If The US government really had irrefutable proof the Russians hacked the Democtrat party with the purpose of putting Trump in office, it would seem the election was fraudulent and should be re-voted.What Obama is doing is throwing out click bait, and innuendo, hoping that some of it sticks. And stupid Dems are falling for it just like stupid Republicans believing every made up story about Clinton and Obama. You're being played from both sides. They are in it together.

You don't seem to understand that if President Obama actually said Trump had been elected fraudently, chaos would unfold in the U.S., our political system might collapse, war may break out, Trump supporters may riot, etc. Nothing is simple my friend. I will wait and see how this unfolds. I personally do not trust Trump nor the Republicans.
