As I mentioned recently, I once thought that Olbermann was a little over the top with his anti-Trump tirades.
However the more we learn about how Trump "won" this election, and the closer we get to D-Day (Which is what I call the Trump inauguration.), the more I start to feel that there IS no level of outrage that is too severe for what we are witnessing.
And my other takeaway is that Keith Olbermann needs a wider audience, and that some cable network needs to provide him a venue for this outrage which he is channeling on our behalf.
Here's an idea

You can sit out there with your flimsy cardboard sign and be OUTRAGED !
I've been with Keith the entire election cycle. He was NOT blowing things out of proportion. He is not doing so now.
ReplyDeleteAnd at this point, leaving the country isn't going to do any of you any good.
Do I believe that more than a scant handful of treasonous R's have the backbone or the want to stop the insanity? HELL NO! Look at how they fawn all over 2016Hitler.

He has run his campaign on threats..
DeleteHe threatens everybody that does not get on their knees for him. He is Mafia little don. I agree with Keith there will not be another election. Not a real one anyway.
And there you have it.
DeleteMango Mussolini indeed. He's studied all of the dictators he's idolized and is working hard to emulate them, to be worthy of joining their ranks.
Now correct me if I'm wrong but, isn't this sort of political pressure on electors basically the same a "jury tampering" or in other words, illegal?
He's a fucking con artist and the media gets suckered over and over again.
ReplyDelete5 things Donald Trump promised he’d do, but hasn’t
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/12/13/5-things-donald-trump-promised-hed-do-but-hasnt/
Keith is completely correct. And he didn't even get into the danger to the planet's environment. Unless something drastic happens, trump will hasten the end of Americas standing, as well as the end of our livable planet.
ReplyDeleteYep, it's going to be all about oil and fracking and coal (even though coal is a dead industry and India's just about all who's left depending on coal, Trump will placate the coal towns and be all for tearing up the earth even more). He's looking at the presidency as a business and all his Cabinet members are about oil and becoming besties with Putin for oil reasons and taking away all protections. It will get so bad that I actually can imagine the citizens of this country finally rising up and taking their country back and not just politely protesting like the Dems and BO (in Obama's own words, Come on man!) have been doing. A lot will be destroyed first before it happens.
DeleteAll the more for auto makers to put out electric rides asap!
DeleteI'll bet Keith gets into the threats to the environment and Climate Change in the next one, where he dumps on Rick Perry with a little side on Tillerson and some of the other Oligarchs. Secretary of the Interior is the one I really HATE. She is going to sell off our lands and license out our national parks to be raped and pillaged.
DeleteI hate them all but her I hate the most.

An anti-LGBTQ man stormed into a church in Tempe, Arizona last Wednesday because of the rainbow flag hanging outside, AZ Family reports. The man reportedly entered the office of the Community Christian Church and went on a hate-filled rant about LGBTQ communities, and using Donald Trump’s election victory as a reason for spreading his message.
ReplyDelete“He said that if Hillary would have won he would have driven right on by the church without stopping,” Pastor Doug Bland said. “But because Trump won he felt he had permission to say and act the way he wanted to expressing the hate that he had for this particular group of people.”

On would think after such a trouncing, that you might consider better sources for your information as to not get blindsided again in the future by surrounding yourself with shill pundits that do little but play to your emotions.

Why Obamacare enrollees voted for Trump
In Whitley County, Kentucky, the uninsured rate declined 60 percent under Obamacare. So why did 82 percent of voters there support Donald Trump?
They're morons. Sorry, I just can't muster up any sympathy at all for trump voters.
DeleteI'm with you Nefer. If a Hillary voter is harmed by Trump's actions, I truly feel sorry for them. However, if a Trump voter is harmed I have absolutely no sympathy for them and feel they have gotten what they asked for.
DeleteDemocrats were the ONLY ones fighting to extend the health care of the Kentucky coal miners. But they couldn't keep it up and had to quit.
DeleteAnd those Kentucky dumbfucks still vote Republican.
I say let them lose their health care.
I've got mine. From now on I'm taking a page from the Republicans. Let them screw their own people. I have a state pension independent from Social Security so that won't impact me. I have healthcare through my employer even in my retirement so screw their Medicare and Obamacare too.
Yeah, I know it's going to effect a lot more than the Deplorables. But eggs, omelet, yadda yadda.
Let them get totally fucked by THE REPUBLICANS, and remind them of it every time they whine.
Hopefully, some of them will eventually get it and we can start to take back the House and Senate in 2018 and hopefully the White House in 2020. What we need is a supermajority so we can reverse all of the damage and shove it down their throats. Then continue to remind them it's the Democrats that are working for them and the Republicans that are shitting on them.
Be sure to judiciously spread some "TOLD YOU SOs" as relevant and apropos.
(And let us all elevate our vocabularies so that Drumpf and his Deplorables are forced to carry around dictionaries to constantly look stuff up or be humiliated.)
When we fill out information forms at a new doctor's office, we senior citizens are routinely asked if we receive "black lung" benefits. The question is important because Democrats, not Republicans, fought for years to have "black lung," a very serious condition suffered by coal miners and often the cause of their deaths, was finally seen as a condition that should receive special coverage under Medicare and that should provide special death benefits. Republicans fought the designation, even Republicans in states with significant numbers of coal mines. It does not annoy me to be asked these questions because it means that the country cares about the lives and fates of these people whose employers almost always ignored the dangers and risks of the work done to enrich them. If only the voters in Kentucky paid attention to which political party had done the most for them.

I rather like this one:
"MailOnline decided to have a stab at creating its own crest for Mr Trump, with the various visual elements signifying different aspects of his colourful life.
Central to the shield is a gaudy skycraper, denoting (literally) his business empire and (metaphorically) his virility.
Either side of Trump Tower stands a stylised 'golden' woman. These are a dual reference to his involvement in the Miss Universe and Miss USA competitions - as well as his ex-wives Ivana Trump and Marla Maples, who were rumoured to be awarded $25million and $2million from their respective divorces.
A 'chevronel' made from two hair combs are used to denote The Donald's famous 'comb-over' hairstyle, while the bottom of the crest refers to his dogged persistence last year in trying to force President Barack Obama to make public his birth certificate.
Like its position on the shield, Mr Trump's critics say his leadership of the 'birther' movement was the lowest point of his political career.
The motto is a loose Latin translation of 'You're fired' - his favourite phrase from The Apprentice."

I will tell you who is having a miserable time with Trump's current political position and that would be the one who doesn't want to move into the Gold House after King Trump's coronation. She's isolating herself in the Trump Toilet staying away from the common street people.
