The biggest celebrity filled shindig in Washington DC this month will not be the inauguration, it will be a farewell party for the Obamas.

Courtesy of the Washington Post:

January 2017 will definitely see an onslaught of A-list tourists at the White House. But they’re not coming for the inauguration.

President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama will host a goodbye party for close friends and major donors Friday, according to a person with knowledge of the marquee affair. The Obamas themselves confirmed during an interview with People Magazine last month that they’d have one final bash at the White House. The president told a young fan that they’d have a “grown up” party before packing their bags.

Of course, there’s no official word from the White House yet. Typically the Obama administration keeps a tight lid on celebration details until the 11th hour, releasing a just-the-facts statement the day of the event. But the big names thought to be on the guest list have been slowly trickling out this week.

Those big names are said to include Oprah, Beyoncé, Jay Z, Bradley Cooper, Stevie Wonder, Usher, Samuel L. Jackson, as well as directors George Lucas and J.J. Abrams. Among others of course.

Why do I get the feeling that Donald Trump would give his left shriveled orange nut for just one of these people to show up at his inauguration?

Damn I'm going to miss this POTUS and FLOTUS.

They have really raised the bar for class in the White House.

Too bad that bar is about to be buried along with Michelle Obama's vegetable garden after they bulldoze it and replace it with a Hugh Hefner like grotto featuring its own stripper pole.

P.S. Of course news of this has agitated the little Tasmanian she-devil in Alaska as well.

In my opinion that is just the cherry on top.

Of course the little whiny, jealous bitch puts in her two cents of useless shit! She has wet dreams of trump grabbing her stank p****y, since her pimp is too busy looking at nipples through peep holes! Teach your useless, lazy spawn the merits of birth control, you fuckin' idiot!

  2. abbafan6:35 AM

I will so miss President and Mrs. Obama when they leave the White House! They have demonstrated so much grace, dignity, and class! I wish them well in their future endeavours! The same cannot be said for the orange shit-gibbon and his tramp bitch! Maybe omarosa can satisfy him!

    1. How The National Enquirer can print this last week on its cover: "Trump already bringing dignity back to the White House." How? -- by not move in and let the Obamas stay?

To 7:49 and 9:11: Rachel has a good segment on NE content before and after the election. All untrue, all supporting Trump. Looks like his official medium.

  3. When the Obamas came to office in 2009 it was a wonderful thing to see the WH opened to all again. The Bushs weren't very social. Sometimes people forget the amazing groups of regular people who have walked through the WH. Science Fairs, Girl Scouts, private Americans who have been of great service to their country, artists, musicians, scientists who aren't famous and just regular people who love this country.

The Obamas made the WH again---the people's house.
And when rich and famous Americans walked through-- it is their house too. So acting like they are beasts who don't belong just makes anger bunnies like a jealous Palin and Trump look stupid.

So suck it Sarah. You would give up everyone of your children to have been invited to a star studded party at the White House. Don't worry---the orange shit-gibbon will invite you and you will wear the wrong clothes.

I will so miss the Obamas. And I hope they pass out from the fun of the bash.

Hey, there's an idea for the tundra twat! She can emcee and do her stand-up shtick that The Tonight Show had to add a laugh track to before it went to air because she BOMBED.

Michele Bachmann Advising Donald Trump is the Ignorant Advising the Uninformed

“Our government has been perverted to be used to advance an ungodly agenda” and “undermine American values both abroad and here at home.”

...Most remarkable of all is her claim that Donald Trump, the most profane candidate in many a long year is going to somehow advance a godly agenda. And only an Evangelical could claim that persecuting everyone who isn’t a Christian is somehow not a radical agenda.

  9. Anonymous7:22 AM

President-elect Donald Trump couldn't help himself and dug the hole deeper by spending Saturday morning offering up a full-throated defense of Russia and their hacking during the US presidential election.

The president-elect of the United States of America responded to a consensus agreement by the nation’s intelligence community that a hostile foreign actor interfered in an election to get their preferred candidate installed by defending the hostile foreign actor and claiming that a good relationship with a leader who is committed to destroying democracy is a good thing.

Trump claims that Putin will respect the US more, but it is interesting to ask what the president-elect means by respect? If he means respect as allowing Russia to do whatever they please while they say nice things about a weak-kneed stooge who is bowled over by flattery, then yes, that is the kind of “respect” that Trump will earn for the US.

Trump FIRES Off Into Bizarre Russian Hack Diatribe During Wild Online Freak Out (DETAILS)

The president-elect continues to be relentlessly determined to undermine the credibility of the U.S. intelligence community’s report that Russia waged an unprecedented cyberattack driven propaganda war in the United States in the months before the presidential election.

Trump wrote the following on Twitter late Friday evening, implying that no special targeting of the DNC had taken place, despite the intelligence community’s repeated assertions to the contrary:

...Secondly, although Trump’s usage of the ever-so-conveniently ambiguous term “having a good relationship with Russia” certainly sounds nice, it has a rotten undertone.

Russia is a dictatorship that has been led by the same man — Vladimir Putin — for what’s going on decades. The Russian government is widely believed to be behind the deaths of many opposition political figures. The Russian government, as led by former Soviet Secret Police head Putin, is widely known to have a long tradition of jailing or otherwise prosecuting its political opponents.

Having a “good” relationship with such a nation that keeps it at a decent arms length, holds it accountable for its corruption, and still “respects” it enough to warrant some level of mutually agreed non-militarism is not the kind of “good relationship” that Trump has in mind.

...He failed to mention, however, that it was found Russia did commit serious cyberattacks on the American government, with Sen. John McCain going so far as to say the hacks threatened to “destroy democracy.”

He further tweeted that Democrats were just being sore “embarrassed” losers.

    1. Anonymous1:17 PM

My goodness. Some truths must have been stated during that meeting. Comrade Trump is going to a raving lunatic by the time inauguration day comes around.

I have an annual physical the day before and I know my blood pressure is going to be off the charts. Just knowing that, after January 20, 2017, this orange comrade is going to be in charge and that his cohorts cannot wait to gut Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and the ACA may well do me in completely.

PS: I have every intention of telling my doctor what I think of the incoming train wreck. She is in a large practice whose patients are largely senior citizens. I wonder if any of the doctors there thought about consequences when they voted a straight Republican ticket.

...Trump appears to have gotten a number of important details wrong about the NBC story. No one “gave” NBC the top-secret report, as Trump claimed. As the NBC story notes, the official quoted by the network never even saw a copy of the intelligence report; he or she just repeated to NBC what someone had said about its findings.

On Friday morning, Trump told The New York Times that the ongoing public interest in possible Russian interference in the presidential election was “a political witch hunt.” He also complained the election-hacking story was getting more attention than other instances where government computers were compromised. These previous hacks, however, did not include releasing the stolen information to the public.

SPECIAL REPORT: Trump Gets Played On Job Creation By The Corporate Big Boys

Corporations Prepare to Gorge on Tax Cuts Trump Claims Will Create Jobs

...But now that Donald Trump’s election means it might really happen, corporate executives are telling Wall Street analysts what they’ll actually use that money for: enriching their shareholders and buying other companies.

The Intercept’s examination of dozens of earnings calls and investor conference talks since Trump won the presidential election finds that many executives are telling analysts at large banks that they are eager to take the money to increase dividends and stock buybacks as well as snap up competitors. They demonstrate considerably less if any enthusiasm for going on a domestic hiring spree.

Many U.S. multinationals, especially in the technology and pharmaceutical industries, have long resisted bringing their overseas profits back to America — because if they did they’d have to pay taxes on them at the current corporate rate of 35 percent. Their accumulated untaxed foreign profits have now grown to a spectacular $2.5 trillion, an amount equal to about 70 percent of the federal government’s annual budget and 14 percent of the entire U.S. economy.

‘He Blatantly, Overtly, Bluntly, Simply Lied’: Maddow on Trump’s Statement About Intelligence Report

...As Maddow pointed out, the declassified version of the report that was publicly released after the meeting said no such thing. She then let loose with a blunt assessment of what Trump did with his statement.

“He put out a written statement about what he learned in the briefing,” she stated. “And he blatantly, and overtly, bluntly, simply lied about what is in this report. Right before this report got publicly released so we could check ourselves and see that he was lying.”

She added that she doesn’t “get weirded out” that much by the news but “this puts a shiver down my spine.”

Republicans will effectively control 68 of the nation’s 99 state legislative bodies, as well as 33 governor’s mansions. Among other things, group members said they would push bills to reduce corporate taxes, weaken unions, privatize schooling and influence the ideological debate on college campuses.

“We can pretty much do whatever we want to right now,” said Rep. Jim DeCesare, a Republican state legislator in Kentucky, where the party gained the state House for the first time in nearly a century.

GOP Readies Sweeping Jobs Plan To Create Millions of New, Angry Trump Voters By Sweeping Away Their Jobs
Congressional Republicans are preparing a new legislative avalanche so ambitious it will require members of Congress to work five whole days a week, insiders told Politico. The goal—create legions of new, angry, economically disenfranchised voters, to give Pres.-elect Donald Fucking Trump in 2020 what would be his first actual popular-vote victory.

The plan—actually, overtly being referred to and discussed as a repeat of the disastrous 1994 Contract with America—involves simultaneously fucking public-sector workers and reducing the number of private-sector workers.

Front and center of the new legislative agenda will be a tax-reform package so sweeping it will create vast numbers of jobs overseas and resume the departure of jobs from American shores. One of the actual fucking highlights under consideration is a massive tax cut on profits that flag-waving, American asshole corporations have sheltered overseas to avoid paying American taxes to America, the land that they want you to sing the national anthem to before fucking football games.

Current law lets companies avoid paying taxes until the money comes to the US, and Trump has proposed cutting that rate from 35% to 10%, which would trigger the return of trillions of dollars to the US. According to Trump, American corporations will use that money to create jobs.

Here’s how the plan will actually not work, according to Bloomberg News:

...Previous GOP efforts to kill jobs—such as opposing the auto-industry bailout because it would help the rare, endangered species known as Laborium organizii—have enjoyed only partial success, because Democrats have been able to offset the economic hit by hiring public-sector workers. This time, however, Republicans are planning ahead.

The Trumpublican agenda includes reducing the number of government workers and making it harder for them to keep their jobs, organize, or get paid money for doing work stuff.

The job-genociding effect of all these policies—known as The Great Obama Recession of 2018 for short—will fuel public anger against Democratic Party elites and convince voters to elect even more Republicans in 2020 to finish the job of digging America out of the oddly GOP-shaped hole Obama left behind.

Security analyst: Trump is going to ‘gut the intelligence community’ to cover up Russia hacks

...“I think because, when Donald Trump made his statement on July 27th of last year where he asked for Russia to hack Hillary Clinton and release her e-mails, at that point he went from being an unwitting useful idiot to Russia to actually believing that they were working in his favor,” Nance explained. “To admit that now, in the face of all the evidence, he would believe that this would delegitimize his presidency and he will fight to the end to not allow this to become a narrative.”

“I suspect that in two weeks he’s going to attempt to cover this all up and even gut the intelligence community,” Nance continued before adding, “He is pushing this nation to a constitutional crisis of unprecedented magnitude, because no one has ever worked in the interests of a hostile nation and supporting, to a certain extent, a hostile intelligence service.”
