Trump takes to Twitter to rant about the Democrats.

You know when I hear something like this I always wonder if Trump said it or if it was said by an internet troll. And then I realize that there is no difference.

Personally I find it hysterical that Trump is pissed off at what the Democrats have been doing to him for a week that the Republicans did to President Obama for eight years straight.

The only difference is that the Republicans were trying to stop Obama from making the country better, while the Democrats are working to keep Trump from destroying it.

Donnie is always lying. This time by omission. He omitted the fact that his nominees failed to present their paperwork in a timely manner, lied on paperwork and in hearings. Yet the Senate is supposed to hop to and give these crooks an up vote without proper vetting. Ironic from a douche who thinks two plus years of vetting isn't sufficient for refugees.

Ok Donny. When are we going to get a First Lady? You know the one who posed nude for all the world to see.The one who hangs out at Trump Towers costing New York a million dollars a day just so she does not have to see your fat ass and come over fake tan flabby body.Barron is just an excuse. She is a poor excuse for a First Lady. She never wanted this an it is apparent.

In fact we all know she never thought you would actually win. Poor excuse for a First Lady, nude model who after 20 years still cannot speak English no wonder she hides! Her only job for years was to be eye candy for her husband.

Sherrod Brown: Trump's Nominees Lied To Finance Committee

Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) did not mince words on CNN this morning, explaining why he and his fellow Democrats are boycotting the vote on Tom Price for HHS Secretary and Steve Mnuchin for Treasury Secretary.

Brown sits on the Senate Finance Committee, which of course has a Republican majority that will vote for Mister Repeal Obamacare and Mister Goldman Sachs no matter what.

But Sherrod Brown and the other Democrats won't vote yes, won't vote at all, and that's the rub. If they don't show up to vote, there isn't a vote. Committee Chairman and full-time animated fossil Orrin Hatch was visibly confused and upset by the surprise move to boycott the vote:

Note that what confuses Hatch is not that the Democrats disagree with these two criminals, but that they would put up a fight about it knowing that the Republicans are going to give their consent anyway. Everybody knows the Republican Senate is going to give Trump everything he wants, regardless of the qualifications or criminalities of the nominees.

Sherrod Brown is not confused, however: He is standing up for his constituents who need homes and healthcare......

...Of course they're willing to lie. They know they are in no matter what they do. The chairman of the committee said so.

And don't forget this golden minute-and-eight-seconds, which for my money is still the most Watergate Hearing moment since Watergate:.............

Trump just continues to act like a child and like it's campaign season. T

And this thing tonight re a SCOTUS pick should be condemned. Seriously, he's got to have a prime time roll-out? He's invited the two nominees and is having a pre-announcement reception. Will the choice even know who is is when in that reception room and before his name is called or isn't? This is so cheesy. The choice should know he's the choice and the other guy should know that he wasn't picked, and there should be no game playing. If they know who was picked, then they will both have to act coy until the announcement. If they don't know who was picked, then they're being used even more for this PR stunt. Either way, what president of the US does this?! It is ridiculous. It's embarrassing, immature, narcissistic, amateur, and unserious.

Bannon jokes that he has mixed feelings about SCOTUS pick. Says that a white man shouldn't have to serve coffee to a Hispanic woman.

Repeat: Neil Gorsuch to be nominated to Supreme Court of the United States by President Trump.

Gorsuch is POTUS final answer. Paperwork is being drawn up. #UnholyTrinity reinvigorated by POTUS cooperative attitude. For now...

Kushner's effect on POTUS very noticeable. Some joke that Kushner has pheromones that are magic to the Trumps.

Tapper uses Spicer’s own words to nail Trump administration’s ironic objection to the word ‘ban’

Jake Tapper cornered Sean Spicer on Monday over the White House Press Secretary’s insistence that Donald Trump’s immigration executive order is not a Muslim ban, using the president’s—and press secretary’s—own words against that administration talking point.

......Referring to Spicer’s argument that the president is “using the term that the media’s using,” Tapper noted, “It seems odd though, if you object to the term you shouldn’t use it, right?” He then played a clip of Spicer himself referring to the executive order as a “ban.”
“Okay but to be fair, that was Sean Spicer on Sunday,” Tapper said. “Surely he has not used the term since then, such as—I don’t know—last night when he spoke at George Washington University.“

The host then showed a video from last night, showing the White House press secretary clearly calling the executive order a “ban.”

“Okay, everybody clear now?” Tapper asked. “Nobody should follow the lead of the biased media and call the executive action a ban. Instead, follow the White House and call it a ban.”

First there are already laws on the books that state: immigrants and non-immigrants coming to work have to prove they can support themselves before entering the country.

Trumpy had better get some advice from HLS about his terminology. Immigrants are green card holders; non-immigrants are workers on temporary visas, students, tourists etc. So which is he planning on deporting?

So this sounds like just another photo op for trump. Maybe he needs to look into all the welfare fraud committed by his supporters.

What happened to his plan to get rid of the ILLEGAL immigrants? Figured out it wasn’t so easy or not enough photo ops.
    ====================================

New draft Trump executive order could be used to deport legal immigrants for using food stamps: report

The White House is reportedly sitting on executive orders that would seek to deport immigrants who are already living in the U.S. with documentation, the Washington Post reports.

Our country’s immigration laws are designed to protect American taxpayers and promote immigrant self sufficiency. Yet households headed by aliens are much more likely than those headed by citizens to use Federal means-tested public benefits,” reads one of the orders. It is titled, “Executive Order on Protecting Taxpayer Resources by Ensuring Our Immigration Laws Promote Accountability and Responsibility.”

The draft relies on the assumption that “immigrant households are more likely to use welfare benefits,” though no evidence is provided to support the claim.

Its enforcement would also rely heavily on the presumption that some individuals entering the country are more likely to rely on public assistance, specifically because the order notes the administration would “deny admission to any alien who is likely to become a public charge.”

Another draft order titled “Executive Order on Protecting American Jobs and Workers by Strengthening the Integrity of Foreign Worker Visa Programs.”

    ===================================
O/T Senate Democrats go party of no against Trump

The chamber fell into disarray on Tuesday, as Democrats deployed the same tactics Republicans used against them during the Obama years.

Democrats blockaded three Cabinet picks on Tuesday, preventing them from advancing out of committee. Five Democrats later joined Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York to vote against Elaine Chao's nomination to run the Transportation department — even though she's married to Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

....... Democrats insisted that their moves to block committee votes on health secretary pick Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga.) and Treasury secretary-in-waiting Steven Mnuchin stemmed from new press reports that raised questions about statements both made under oath. But Schumer's vote against Chao, and the judiciary committee’s delayed vote on attorney general nominee Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), stemmed from sharp Democratic objections to Trump's immigration crackdown — as well as its fumbled execution. The new travel restrictions set off global disarray, hundreds of detentions and massive protests nationwide.....

.... And beyond the three Cabinet nominees still stuck in committee, signs of trouble were emerging for two others. Democratic senators on the environment committee huddled Tuesday afternoon to decide whether to mount a boycott of Wednesday’s panel vote on Scott Pruitt, the conservative Oklahoma attorney general Trump tapped to lead the Environmental Protection Agency.

Maine GOP Sen. Susan Collins said today that she is still undecided about whether to support Pruitt once the full Senate considers him, although at least three more Republicans would need to defect in order to bring down the nomination. Collins and Alaska GOP Sen. Lisa Murkowski also on Tuesday reserved the right to oppose Betsy DeVos on the floor after backing the Education Secretary pick during a contentious committee vote.
