Donald Trump tries to undermine unity among Democrats by saying that the DNC chair election was rigged.

Courtesy of WaPo:

Trump cited no evidence to back up his claim.

Clinton didn’t offer a formal endorsement in the DNC race, though she and Perez have long been political allies and Perez was widely considered the candidate of the establishment wing of the party. Perez backed Clinton over Sanders for the Democratic nomination last year.

Trump has claimed for months that the Democratic race for president was “rigged” in favor of Clinton and against Sanders. He also frequently used the same term to describe his race against Clinton.

First of all if you are a Democrat who actually gives this any credibility you need to, right now, go find a brick wall and start beating your head against it until you come to your senses.

This is right out of the Kremlin's playbook and it is how they sowed doubt and disunity among the Democrats during the primaries, which led up to disenfranchised voters in the general.

It is time for Democrats to stop allowing assholes like Trump and Putin to yank their chains and cause them to shoot themselves in the foot.

When we are together, we are unstoppable.

And that is what terrifies Trump and the Republicans so much.

  1. Anonymous11:09 AM

Well, this shines a new light on the BernieBros and BernieHos and why they insist the election was "rigged". They're actually Trumpettes.

    1. Well that is not precisely incorrect.

The Russians hacked the DNC and then released the information at the best time to anger and upset those who desperately wanted Bernie Sanders as the nominee.

They even wrote articles fanning the flames of dissent by jumping on the "It's rigged" bandwagon.

Then after Hillary had the nomination they continued pushing the meme that she was in Wall Street's pocket, was about to be indicted, and even that she was in poor health after that collapse.

All of this fed into the confirmation bias of some progressives and the rest, as they say, is history.

I will say it again, if you voted against Hillary Clinton, or skipped this election altogether, chances are high that the Russians made you their bitch.

    2. Anonymous1:27 PM

Where has Bernie been, I haven’t heard his outrage at all the Wall St folks being chosen for the cabinet yet he was yelling every day about Hillary making a speech at Goldman Sachs.

I haven’t heard Bernie complaining about all the wasted taxpayer money supporting/securing three “white houses” and children’s business trips.

    3. Anonymous3:04 PM

Bernie would have won the popular just as Hillary did, and have lost the electoral, just like Hillary did.

Progressives, Independents and Democrats would have coalesced under any candidate that wasn't Trump.

    4. 1:27

      Then you haven't been listening.

You are also Putin's bitch for your bashing.

  2. Anonymous11:11 AM

Trump will fall eventually! He'll be impeached, assassinated or just plain run out of D.C.! He does NOT represent the majority of Americans and the Republicans know it.

Go for it Democrats and Independents! We have the numbers to run out the Republicans across the nation - beginning w/Trump and those in the U.S.Congress!

    1. Anonymous11:24 AM

A great deal depends on dealing with the extreme gerrymandering in dozens of states. 2/3 are GOP governed, I believe.

    2. Anonymous3:11 PM

Also too, do you think the the Russians are going to just let the Democrats win anything in the midterms?

  3. Anonymous11:11 AM

    Does this asshole ever "president?"
I am so sick and tired of his shit!

  4. Anonymous11:12 AM

    The orange pig!

  5. Anonymous11:28 AM

It's mind-blowing that he talks this way. This is how the president of the US talks????!!! Of course, that tweet and the one about the NYT ad aren't at his @Potus. But over there he does still post things that no president should post, but he thinks it's fine. He shouldn't have a second Twitter account that he uses so as to say just anything that pops into his head. It's so immature and embarrassing.

  6. Anonymous11:32 AM

I really hope that he doesn't just read from the teleprompter when he makes his speech before congress this week. Sometimes even the written remarks are way overboard, but his handlers are probably going to use this occasion to flat-out lie by making it sound as if the asshole is a unifying force. I want him to say what a "mess" he was left with and to call the ACA "a disaster." I'd like to hear grumblings in the audience and to see the Dems not just just there politely. They will, though, no matter what he says unless the asshole ad libs.

WATCH: Chuck Todd calls out Trump for calling press ‘fake news’ every time there’s a new Russia story

Meet the Press host Chuck Todd blasted President Donald Trump on Sunday for resorting to attacking the press every time a new revelation about his administration’s involvement with Russia is revealed.

According to the NBC host, Trump’s tweeted attacks on the press –specifically aimed at the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN and his own network — always follow those outlets reporting on the murky relationship between Trump’s inner circle and Russian involvement in the 2016 election.

“Whenever stories break on that subject, press bashing, which is always part of the president’s arsenal, seems to escalate,” Todd pointed out.

“It’s a tactic with a pattern. The president’s attacks on the media repeatedly have directly followed reporting on Russia,” Todd continued before presenting a timeline of media reports followed by presidential tweets.” On January 5th, NBC News reported on the intelligence community’s report on Russian influence in the election. On January 6th, President-elect Trump tweeted, ‘I am asking the chairs of the House and Senate committees to investigate top secret intelligence shared with NBC prior to me seeing it.’ On February 13th, 14th, and 15th, news outlets reported on Mr. Trump’s ties to Russia. On February 16th, President Trump spent much of a 77-minute news conference attacking the press.”

“On Thursday night, media outlets reported that White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus asked the FBI to publicly discredit a New York Times story on Russia, after the FBI’s deputy director reportedly told him it was overblown,” Todd remarked. “On Friday, the president went after the press.”

As if to prove Todd’s point — or possibly because the President watched Meet The Press — Trump on Sunday once again attacked the media, tweeting: “Russia talk is FAKE NEWS put out by the Dems, and played up by the media, in order to mask the big election defeat and the illegal leaks!” right on cue.

Governor Kasich Wants To Prevent Millions From Losing Healthcare

...Kasich, unlike his other GOP compatriots, admits there are too many who would be impacted, not only in his own state, but nationwide. He knows full well that the far right cons of Congress would gleefully repeal it without a replacement, isn't that what Jesus would do? Thankfully, that's not going to be that easy with a public on edge, fearing for their lives.

    1. Anonymous1:28 PM

Kasich is scared of people protesting the loss of the ACA or Medicaid. He should be scared. His GOP has had decades since serious health care reform was first raised during the Clinton administration to come up with a workable plan, other than enriching insurance companies further.

    2. Anonymous1:29 PM

Kasich is setting himself up for the anti Trump GOPper. Someone the rank and file, after they are harmed so badly by Trump, can flock to in 2020.

    3. Like the other Republicans, Kasich recognizes and is scared of the backlash of the public. The protesters are a real threat and unlike his colleagues he is not afraid to recognize and admit it.

If the RNC were smart, they'd listen to Kasich. They should have listened to him all along. He was one of the saner voices of the primary.

"Kasich also said he thought protests were affecting Republicans.

“Look, I don’t understand everything that’s going on with these town halls, but ... I think it’s having an impact from the standpoint of ‘Hey, people are watching,’” Kasich said. “I don’t think they mind reform, but don’t take everything away.”

On Saturday, governors were briefed about the GOP replacement plan, with the expectation that millions could lose coverage.

Kasich reiterated that he didn’t want to kick 20 million people off of health care, and that this debate was bigger than a political argument.

“At the end of the day I’m going to stand up for the people that wouldn’t have the coverage if they don’t get this thing right,” Kasich said. “And I happen to believe that the best way to get this right over time is for actually both parties to work together.”"

Meanwhile it's the same old with the GOPeePee.

Trump Rocked By New Scandal As Father Of Navy Seal Killed In Yemen Wants Investigation

The father of the Navy Seal who was killed in Yemen is demanding a probe into whether President Trump put together the mission properly.

    1. Anonymous7:48 PM

Yes, 11:46 AM I read that the father of Chief Petty Officer Ryan Owens, made his wishes known that he wanted the arrival of his son's body to be a private ceremony. He specifically stated that he did not want to meet with Trump yet Trump and his wife-like daughter Ivanka showed up at Dover AFB. The Navy Seal's father held his ground and refused to meet with Trump.

      Those Trumps are all ass-wipes.

  10. Anonymous11:49 AM

    HUUUGE Backfire!!!

...Trump’s goal has been to delegitimize media that he has deemed unfriendly. Trump doesn’t want reporters asking questions, digging into details, and exposing the behavior of his administration.

His attacks on The New York Times have been designed to wreck trust in the paper while trying to drive them out of business.

What Trump doesn’t understand is that the presidency itself holds a dual power. He can use the presidency as a weapon, but those he attacks will be automatically supported by his opponents. In Trump’s case, he has more opponents than supporters, so when he attacks any media outlet, he is more likely to help his target than hurt them.

Trump’s attacks on The Times are backfiring to a degree of high comedy, but since the President’s rage against the media is driven by deep insecurities, they are unlikely ever to stop.

Donald Trump tried to harm The New York Times. Instead, he has made them more trusted and successful than ever.

  11. Anonymous11:51 AM

The President also has a young, hot "advisor" named Katie you've never heard of. They have private "thinking time". You fill in the blanks.

    1. Anonymous2:03 PM

How many crotch grabs does she have to allow each day to keep her job?

    2. Anonymous3:14 PM

Like Lewinsky, there will always be women that "cozy up" to men in power but, quite frankly, who would even get near that tub of lard? Eeeewww.

  12. KEErist. Does this lunatic ever stop blathering this carp?

  13. Anonymous12:07 PM

It's sad that this language is normalized and even expected from Trump.

  14. Anonymous12:19 PM

Bernie is an Independent, so he gets no say in the DNC !!! If he wants to be a Democrat, then he has to change his party affiliation.

Are Democrats even paying attention to little donnie’s twitter tantrums anymore? Waste of time.

    1. Anonymous1:29 PM

Don't Independents have their own party chair?

    2. Geez. You still bashing that bullshit?

      Putin would be so proud.

  15. Anonymous1:04 PM

O/T - On topic - how the hell can you tell anymore? It is all b-shit!

Spicer confiscated the phones of 12 of the closest aids and turned them over to White House lawyers for a "phone check" to see if they were leaking information to the press.

What in hell has this all come to? Putin going to take them out if they are guilty?

Other electronic devices were demanded from the staffers as well. No encrypted anything will be permitted.

    1. Anonymous1:31 PM

Good luck with that. Anyone sane would have an extra phone or tablet AT HOME that they do not bring to the office and leak info on that. Dumb and scared is what the WH is now.

  16. Anonymous1:07 PM

Press secretary Sean Spicer confiscating aides phones in search for White House leakers: report

    26 FEB 2017 AT 13:04 ET

In an effort to stem a daily flow of leaks about turmoil inside the Trump White House, Press Secretary Sean Spicer called in a dozen of his closest aides and ordered them to turn over their phones to be searched by White House lawyers.

According to Politico, Spicer called a surprise meeting last week where the staffers were told to put their phones on a table for a “phone check,” by the attorneys who were standing by.

  17. Anonymous1:31 PM

When he claims that he gets all his news off of the internet, WTH does he do all day? Watch soap operas?

    1. Anonymous2:55 PM

Worse, he actually watches cable news.

  18. No more rigged than anything else in either political Party.

"Democratic National Committee members on Saturday voted down a resolution that would have reinstated former President Barack Obama’s ban on corporate political action committee donations to the party.

Resolution 33, introduced by DNC Vice Chair Christine Pelosi, would also have forbidden “registered, federal corporate lobbyists” from serving as “DNC chair-appointed, at-large members.”"

    And there you have it.

"New York DNC Member Stuart Appelbaum, a co-sponsor of the resolution, insisted that it was crucial for voters to believe the DNC is accountable to them, not corporate interests.

“This resolution provides us an important opportunity to send a message to the people of this country as to our values,” said Appelbaum, president of the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union.

“It is not something new: We operated this way for seven years!” Appelbaum added, referring to the Obama-era ban."

    *HE* gets it.

They also lifted the ban on donations from corporate PACs.

So in the end, the DNC is no different than the RNC. The Republicans just do it a lot better.

    1. Anonymous2:57 PM

      No surprise here!

    2. Anonymous4:45 PM

Don't tell Gryph. According to him the Democratic Party can do no wrong but Obama is a God; this will drive him over the edge.

  19. Anonymous2:54 PM

Neither party is a good fit for many of us.

  20. Anonymous5:04 PM

OT: 42K NSFcheck bouncer. Loser Laura!

  21. Anonymous11:07 PM

Don is the classic and typical abuser. He uses his twisted hateful soul to attempt to cover his guilt, actions and outcome. DJT is caught. He is exposed. Just waiting for finale and closing arguments. Verdict is a dangerous lying pile of dung has rigged our election and lies to your face. DJT amaricka is his hell on earth.

  22. Anonymous3:47 AM

Trump needs to learn how to spell a few more words. How often can he overuse "rigged" and "sad" and his other favorites? Someone should tell him that his tweets have become very, very, very old and no one wants to see them anymore.

My message to Trump today: it was your election that was "rigged" and you are a "sad" (meaning pathetic) old man who lacks the intelligence, the sensibility, the humanity and the imagination to hold the office that your pal Putin gave you.

  23. Anonymous9:22 AM

Nobody knows more about rigged elections than Donald J. Trump!

Don't feed the trolls!
It just goes directly to their thighs.
