Donald Trump expresses a desire to run against Elizabeth Warren in 2020.

Courtesy of AOL News:

During an interview that aired Saturday night on FOX News, Trump welcomed the idea of Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren launching a presidential bid against him.

Trump said it would be a "dream come true" and that he would come out ahead.

"I think she'd lose so badly," he said, adding, "I think, honestly, I think she hurt Hillary Clinton so badly."

Trump is claiming that the Democratic senator had too much "anger" in her heart while stumping for Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election season.

The president went on to say, "Pocahontas would not be proud of her...," using the campaign trail moniker he used for the senator after she was scrutinized for her claims of Native American heritage.

Now I have no idea whether Warren will run in 2020 or not, though I have expressed my hope that she does.

However if she does I would predict that Donald Trump will have reason to eat these words.

If he is even still around by 2020 that is.

I expect the orange talking yam isn't a distant memory by 2020. I can't believe he is still used that "Pocahontas" name. That is so childish.

It's immature and insulting to those of Native heritage.

Yup, the only race I'd like to see him running in is across the prison yard - with a bunch of scary goons chasing him!
Oh and of course, they catch him. *smirk*

That's the bullshitter-in-chief trying to change the conversation at a time when the news are going from bad to worse for him with each passing day. I wouldn't pay much attention to what he says in any case since he has a history of promising a lot of things that never come to pass. We're still waiting for his tax returns, proof of voter fraud, proof of wiretapping, etc. What a loser. It's only a matter of time before he's forced to resign or is impeached when there's enough evidence to send him packing or behind bars.

Hurt Hillary badly? 3 million votes and no ties to Russia hacking the campaign. Yeah, it's Liz's fault.

I imagine the twitter wars between the two would be our final demise. If the DNC can't come up with a decent candidate, next time around, I give up.

I suggest that the jerk actually do some work vs worrying about running in 2020! He'll lose anyway. I doubt he'll make it through four years. IMPEACH HIM are the words being heard around the country!

He's a liar, fraud and a total imbecile!

The Trump-Russia Story Has Only Just Begun (To Explode)

Not since Richard Nixon’s Watergate scandal has an investigative hearing made it so clear that a presidency was in serious legal peril.

Let’s step back for a minute and consider again what we saw Monday in a hearing room of the U.S. House.

The director of the FBI, with the director of the National Security Agency agreeing at his side, in effect called the president of the United States a liar ― and, oh, by the way, the president’s 2016 campaign indeed is under investigation for allegedly having secretly teamed up with Russia to win the election.

After two months of Donald J. Trump’s presidency and more than a year of his campaign, our political senses are so dulled by tumult that we can barely recognize history when we see it. Make no mistake. Monday’s hearing was all but unprecedented.

Not since a White House aide named Alexander Butterfield told the Watergate committee in 1973 that President Richard Nixon had bugged his own Oval Office has an investigative hearing made it so clear that a presidency was in serious legal jeopardy.

Now we know for sure that, while no one “tapped” Trump’s phones, his campaign circle is in the gunsights of the FBI. The issue is whether Russian President Vladimir Putin, whose interference in the 2016 election is now an accepted fact, tried to rig the outcome with the knowledge or collusion of Team Trump.

7 psychological concepts that explain the Trump era of politics

    American politics can seem baffling.

    Psychology is here to help.

These are strange, unsettling times. And for the past several months, I’ve been asking psychologists variations on a basic question: What research can best help us reckon with uncomfortable social and political realities — like the rise of Donald Trump, the widening partisan split, the divisiveness that comes with multiculturalism?

More than ever before, people of different ideological backgrounds seem to live in separate universes. One example: In the days after the inauguration, social scientists showed participants photos of Trump’s inaugural crowd and Obama’s. Those who had voted for Trump were more likely to say Trump had the larger turnout, despite obvious differences in the photos that demonstrated otherwise.

Psychology can help explain these tense times. Old theories, like motivated reasoning, are more clearly true than ever before. And new work has confirmed that humanity still contains its same base instincts of the prehistoric era.

Consider this a primer. Here are seven essential lessons on the hidden forces shaping our views and actions in the Trump era.

He can't distract from this. Not even calling out "Pocahontas" for the 2020 election.

No amount of shiny outrageous tweets is going to make this go away, cover it up or distract the public or the media.

His petard has is being hoisted and there is nothing he can do to cut the rope or cover his exposed lily white ass.

The House GOP showed again today that it can't be trusted to investigate Russia & Trump's Kremlin ties. A special select committee is needed

The fact that they're cynical enough to go to this length in putting party before country is astonishing. What limit, if any, do they have?

This is tribal, rote partisanship at its worst. It's sad, but true that Republican leaders have failed to stand up to Russia for months.

Moscow carried out an attack on our democracy and House Republicans are focused on leaks. This is why they can't be trusted to investigate.

He KNEW Russia was doing everything it could to undermine her and he helped them.

Now he's trying to cover his ass.
