Donald Trump has screwed things up so badly in America that Canada will not even send their version of the Girl Scouts here.

And staying the fuck away from America.
Courtesy of CBC:

Girl Guides of Canada has announced it will not be taking any trips to the United States in the near future, citing concerns about inclusivity.

"While the United States is a frequent destination for Guiding trips, the ability of all our members to equally enter this country is currently uncertain," international commissioner Sharron Callahan and director of provincial operations Holly Thompson wrote in a joint advisory issued Monday afternoon.

"This includes both trips that are over or under 72 hours and any travel that includes a connecting flight through an American airport," the advisory says.

The statement does not directly mention — but appears to be a reaction to — the executive orders U. S. President Donald Trump has signed restricting travel to the United States.

Great, now we are a third world country where people are afraid to send their children.

Aren't you proud?

I don't blame them. The TSA and the orange POS make me sad.

Way to go, Humpty Trumpty! Yeah. You're sure improving the economy by eliminating one of the biggest influxes of cash - tourism. Keep it up. You'll get everyone to stop coming!

And just because there a few out there too dumb to see it (Like our usual numbers of Trolls!) that was sarcasm.

A travel ban works both ways. Not a good time to invest in the tourist trade: it is for the crapper.

Not to mention that American conservative voters have not been nice to US Girl Scouts for years. I think it was the wise decision of the Girl Scouts to promote empowerment issues and then the wonderful White House camp out experience for local Girl Scouts. There are practically no venues in our part of Michigan for Girl Scout cookies. We haven't had Girl Scouts come to the door for cookie sales in at least a decade. And the only outlet I've seen in the past couple of years where they've been able to sell cookies is our local Loew's building supply store. And that was last month. Three or four years ago there were several grocery stores and other places of business where Girl Scouts set up tables. I've never understood why Americans would turn against the Girl Scouts.

I would bet it was because of 2 things: their INclusiveness and their empowering of the girls, both of which are hated by the Xtian religious extremists.

I'm proud of the Girl Guides! I just became a Girl Scout leader again after a 13 year absence. I'm the same age as these girls' grandmas, but seems like the mothers are scared to jump in and become a leader. I have a co-leader and I'm trying to get her to the point where she has the confidence to be leader and I can move on. I'm an atheist although I don't advertise it - my sister tells me this is a "religious" organization. I know it is, but it is one of the few organizations that does offer girls opportunities and their programs have changed over the years so that empowerment really is part of the program. Also, they are very welcoming to all girls - no issue with gay or transgender girls. I want to be part of influencing young girls positively! As for cookies - Beaglemom I am SHOCKED that here are not opportunities for cookies where you live. Here, we sell at tables in front of stores and we sell a LOT! In fact, right now I am feeling pretty cookie crazy!

Girl Scouts are NOT a religious organization and never have been.

I'm glad to hear that Girl Scout cookies are available in other places. I always enjoyed ordering from local Brownie Scouts or Girl Scouts when then came to our house or when their moms circulated forms at work.

Sorry Anon 10:36. The Girl Scout Promise is a pledge to serve God and country among other things. Although the GSA does not attempt to define God or foist Christianity on anyone and although girls of every religion and even atheists are part of Girl Scouts, part of its guiding principal is to honor "God" as you perceive her/him/it.

‘People are scared’: Paranoia seizes Trump’s White House

Staffers are leaving their phones at home, using secret apps and monitoring each other’s social media.

...One senior aide said staffers have become almost obsessed by daily news accounts of palace intrigue and spend hours in the office dissecting them in hopes of deciphering who is dishing — and who is trying to hurt whom.

Another Republican who is close to the White House said junior-level staffers are simply “mimicking what they’re seeing at the top … Everyone at the top is so suspicious that it trickles down the org chart, so everyone has become paranoid and suspicious.”

America’s system of checks and balances has collapsed and can’t be fixed — here’s who to blame

...The prognosis isn’t good: These flaws are embedded in the Constitution and cannot be repaired without wholesale change, which isn’t coming. These defects are now openly visible for the next demagogue and the next gaggle of political hypocrites and power mongers to exploit. You can forget all the alleged fail-safes. The Constitution was supposed to protect us from this. It was expressly designed to do so. It didn’t.

The system failed because the Founding Fathers did not anticipate anything like the modern Republican Party. On the contrary, they believed that extremism and overweening self-interest of the sort Republicans routinely display could always be quarantined. Were they wrong! Instead of the Constitution circumscribing reactionary populism, reactionary populism has circumscribed the Constitution. That is where we are now. And there is no way out.

Bannon looking to take Ryan down.

Bannon behind Ryan audio so Trump can throw Ryan’s health care flop under the bus: conservative pundit

...“Why did Breitbart release the audio from last fall now? What’s the point?” the MSNBC host asked.

“The point is to separate Donald Trump from Paul Ryan, drive a wedge between Ryan and Trump and perhaps to give President Trump an out on Trumpcare,” Sykes replied.

Sykes noted that Ryan’s health care plan is taking fire from from Democrats and Republicans.

“You know, as it becomes increasingly obvious, this is probably a non-starter,” Sykes explained. “The Trump folks, you know, I think are very, very likely to look for an exit strategy because they don’t want to own the failure. The best way to do that is to separate himself from this. Make it Ryancare and throw Paul Ryan under the bus.”

“The reality is this is the one consistent theme of Breitbart over the years, which is hatred of Paul Ryan, they did everything possible to beat Paul Ryan last year — there’s been no love lost,” he added. “Steve Bannon made it absolutely clear that one of his missions was to destroy Paul Ryan. so I think you are seeing that playing out.”

    Hell,
With all the shootings we have, mass and otherwise, I'm surprised we are not on a "do not travel to this country list"...I mean, if another country hd the mass shootings we have, the US would probably advise we not travel there....just sayin'...been sayin'
