Stand at rallies and ask "will you stop funneling public money to voucher and private schools?" Ask simple questions and make sure the person is on camera.

ReplyDeleteLast week my husband and I "judged" a project competition at a local middle school. We were really impressed 1) by the school itself which was cheerful and well ordered at the same time, 2) by the personnel, especially by the teachers involved in the program, who were friendly to us and clearly dedicated to the work they were doing and 3), by the students we met and their projects: well thought out, well prepared and well presented. There are lots of things that public education in this country needs, but meddling by the GOP is not one of them.

As the child of a multi-millionaire, no doubt he went to some other private schools for elementary school. This is proof that private schools don't necessarily provide a better education than public schools.
