President Obama's reaction to learning that Trump claimed he wire tapped his phones was...well....presidential.

Here's the thing that gets me, even though he is now just an every day citizen, President Obama responds to a cowardly unprovoked attack by worrying more about protecting the office of the president than the man actually occupying that office.

I think that essentially says it all.

Is anyone sure that the third wife and son will not retreat to NYC as soon as the next school year begins?

    2. None whatsoever.

She has no influence over him and I doubt they saw each other much when they lived in Trump Tower.

He'd put her in a separate wing of the White House if he could. I'll bet they'll be on separate floors if that is possible.

Reports: Trump's Backup Plan To Repeal Is Blaming Dems For O'care Failure

During a meeting with conservatives on Wednesday night, President Donald Trump said that if the House healthcare bill fails, Republicans can wait another two years for a repeal and blame Democrats for Obamacare's failure in the meantime, according to reports by CNN and Politico.

.... Trump also said at the meeting that he plans to campaign for the bill's passage in red states with vulnerable Democratic lawmakers.

"Trump said he will have football stadium events in states where he won by 10-12 points and he is going to dare people to vote against him," an unnamed source told CNN.

One of Trump's first executive orders instructed civil service employees to stall and mess with any aspect to the ACA that fell within their purview. That way, the blame can go to the original law not the order that instructed federal employees to break the law. Not a good time to be in the federal civil service. My sympathies to them all.

Accusing Obama is way not enough to have 75% of the Republican party (who hate Obama) think Tump is the Messiah sent from their vengeful god to kill 'liberals in The End Days.

So, what could Trump do or say to possibly jeopardize his inflated position with his base?

      1) Use the American flag as toilet paper (or as a washcloth...) with a dozen leggy blonds pissing on him? on Fox News and it goes viral?

Nah, they would just say, the devil made him do it, and that would cover all and any other of his craziness as well. Beside, he never said he was perfect.

      2) He yells on Fox that he wants every poor person to die without health care -- they don't deserve to live and that he hates their germy asses to death.

      3) That he will start WWIII if anybody, anybody! mocks him ever again.

      4) He and Ivanki and Putin in a three-way on Fox News?

      5) ---- anybody else got one?

OT - good article to understand the division we are facing in this nation (and the danger it poses to our safety and way of life if the christians get their way - it is a long article and worth reading for all of us - and I think it should be required reading for every single democrat in office, running for office, thinking about running for office needs to read it) - snippets below...

An Insider's View: The Dark Rigidity of Fundamentalist Rural America
In deep-red white America, the white Christian God is king.
    http://www.alternet.org/election-2016/rural-america-understanding-isnt-problem

    Excerpts:
"The real problem isn’t East Coast elites who don’t understand or care about rural America. The real problem is that rural Americans don't understand the causes of their own situations and fears and they have shown no interest in finding out. They don’t want to know why they feel the way they do or why they are struggling because they don’t want to admit it is in large part because of the choices they’ve made and the horrible things they’ve allowed themselves to believe."

"The problem is that rural America doesn’t understand itself and will never listen to anyone outside its bubble. It doesn’t matter how “understanding” you are, how well you listen, what language you use…if you are viewed as an outsider, your views will be automatically discounted. I’ve had hundreds of discussions with rural white Americans and whenever I present them any information that contradicts their entrenched beliefs, no matter how sound, how unquestionable, how obvious, they will not even entertain the possibility that it might be true. Their refusal is a result of the nature of their fundamentalist belief system and the fact that I’m the enemy because I’m an educated liberal.

At some point during the discussion, they will say, “That’s your education talking,” derogatorily, as a general dismissal of everything I said. They truly believe this is a legitimate response, because to them education is not to be trusted. Education is the enemy of fundamentalism because fundamentalism, by its very nature, is not built on facts."

"Another problem with rural Christian white Americans is they are racists. I’m not talking about white hood-wearing, cross-burning, lynching racists (though some are). I’m talking about people who deep down in their heart of hearts truly believe they are superior because they are white. Their white god made them in his image and everyone else is a less-than-perfect version, flawed and cursed.

Even though they’ve backtracked on some of their more racist declarations, many still believe the original claims. Non-whites are the color they are because of their sins, or at least the sins of their ancestors. Blacks don’t have dark skin because of where they lived and evolution; they have dark skin because they are cursed. God cursed them for a reason. If god cursed them, treating them as equals would be going against god’s will. It is really easy to justify treating people differently if they are cursed by god and will never be as good as you no matter what they do because of some predetermined status."

"Another major problem with closed-off fundamentalist belief systems is they are very susceptible to propaganda. All belief systems are to some extent, but fundamentalist systems even more so because there are no checks and balances. If bad information gets in, it doesn’t get out and because there are no internal mechanisms to guard against it, it usually ends up very damaging to the whole."

"Rural Christian white Americans have let anti-intellectual, anti-science, bigoted racists like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, the Stepford wives of Fox, and every evangelical preacher on television into their systems because these people tell them what they want to hear and because they sell themselves as being like them."

Yes indeed, glad you are awake and kicking. Now we need the big guns to act now and remove these crime fiqures from the buildings today. We will deal with eddie munster (ryan) for now. But need to clean out the buildings and put some security in there temporary until new election or Clinton takes charge. This is more than emergency and mandatory.

The church of christ I was forced to attend all my growing up years taught this one: That Black people were cursed by gawd with black skin as "the mark of Cain", and that gave us (whiteys) lee-way for "some righteous forms of discrimination". Then the preacher's wife would get confused and blame racial slavery in America on some deal with one of Noah's sons.
I escaped that way of thinking, but I'll never escape those people. They're everywhere, except at my dinner table.

"Gays being allowed to marry are a threat. Blacks protesting the killing of their unarmed friends and family are a threat. Hispanics doing the cheap labor on their farms are somehow viewed a threat. The black president is a threat. Two billion Muslims are a threat. The Chinese are a threat. Women wanting to be autonomous are a threat. The college educated are a threat. Godless scientists are a threat. Everyone who isn’t just like them has been sold to them as a threat and they’ve bought it hook, line and grifting sinker." Since facts and reality don’t matter, nothing you say to them will ALTer their beliefs."This is why I think the idea that "Democrats have to understand and find common ground with rural America," is misguided and a complete waste of time. When a 2,700-year-old book that was written by uneducated, pre-scientific people, subject to translation innumerable times, and edited with political and economic pressures from popes and kings, is given higher intellectual authority than facts arrived at from a rigorous, self-critical, constantly re-evaluating system that can and does correct mistakes, no amount of understanding, respect or evidence is going to change their minds and assuage their FEARS."Avoiding the obvious only prolongs getting the necessary treatment. America has always had a race problem. The country was built on racism and bigotry. They are willing to vote against their own interests if they can be convinced it will make sure minorities are harmed MORE."

I am beyond alarmed and concerned. The Russian info that Rachael is now exposing has been out there in la la land for over 2 yrs. It is now catching attention? really? why has the mainstream media not use it or prevented that crime mob from invading our buildings and government? Why is the military not stopping them or law enforcement or agencies? Why? because they are also infected and too divided and are infected with certain mob crime personal hired by trump and friends. Waiting on justice and truth is getting very old and boring. And dangerous.

  10. 45 is doing an excellent job hitting the media with so much that they can't focus on the real thing and we are so inured of scandals that I'll bet the real one gets short shrifted. Congress, media and the American people are such fools. We should be marching towards finding out if 45 committed treason, which is very very possible. Likely. But hidden in all of this fuss, it may get derailed just as all of his sexual assault charges and lies have. He has not been held accountable for anything since he just changes the subject and we idiots go chase after the next ball.

I agree that the media needs to focus on the treasonous behavior of Trump's campaign and his administration as it tries to cover up what has gone on. In the meantime, who knows how far the Trump/Russia connection has compromised our country or our traditional allies.

Donnie Tiny Hands will never leave that kind of legacy and great influence upon the world once he leaves office. As far as I'm concerned, Trump leaving office cannot come too soon.

OT"Spicer's assertion that "most" or "many" of the Bush-era releases were court-ordered is simply false, according to lawyers involved in such cases and to Obama administration officials.

"That's loony. ...That's just flat-out not true," said Sabin Willett, a prominent lawyer for Guantánamo detainees."
