US President Donald Trump is keen to use the Queen's royal carriage to travel down The Mall to Buckingham Palace.
According to officials, the White House views the carriage procession as an important part of Trump's itinerary for his visit scheduled for the second week in October.
UK security sources have warned that it poses a "monster" security operation, according to a Times report, leading to a lockdown of areas in central London.
The Metropolitan Police are preparing for one of the largest public order operations in years, as hundreds of thousands of people are expected to come to Westminster to protest at Trump's state visit, which was postponed from earlier this year.
The article goes on to point out that the carriage is a flimsy affair which does not offer the same protection that the a president's reinforced car does against possible attack.
So why, considering the fact that Trump is reviled by many of the people in England, would he so keen on taking such a big security risk?
Trump's ego demands that he receive the same treatment as his puppet master.
Personally I don't think that the Queen of England responds well to the demands of bullies sand I hope she refuses Orange Hitler's demand.
Imagine the ratings when Drumpf orders the top down and Melanoma strips for the public.

DeleteThe Democrats should have banded together and put up only ONE candidate and then everyone backed him. As is, the field is so diluted Ossoff has no chance of getting 51% of the vote outright and in a run-off between him and the Republcan, he'll lose.
And yes, gerrymandering has become a science, the only science the Republicans believe in. They have elevated it to a precise art. It is the only way they stay in power.

President Donald Trump broke with 40 years of precedent in the 2016 presidential election when he refused to voluntarily disclose his tax returns to the public. State lawmakers are taking steps to make sure that doesn’t happen again when he runs for re-election.
Lawmakers in 26 states have introduced legislation to require presidential and vice presidential candidates to publicly disclose their tax returns to get on the ballot. If future candidates should fail to release their tax returns under this legislation, they would not be allowed to appear on the ballot.
Trump claims that he can’t release his tax returns because they are under a routine audit ― an assertion that is false. President Richard Nixon, the first to disclose his tax returns, released them in 1973 even though they were under audit at the time.
