Collusion!

Courtesy of TPM:

A Republican political operative in Florida asked the alleged Russian hacker who broke into Democratic Party organizations’ servers at the height of the 2016 campaign to pass him stolen documents, according to a report Thursday by the Wall Street Journal.

In return, that operative received valuable Democratic voter-turnout analyses, which the newspaper found at least one GOP campaign consultant took advantage of the information. The hacker went on to flag that same data to Roger Stone, a longtime confidant of Donald Trump’s who briefly advised his presidential campaign, and who is currently under federal investigation for potential collusion with Russia.

The Wall Street Journal’s report presents the clearest allegations to date of collusion between people connected to Donald Trump’s campaign and Russia.

Of course Stone, who claims he is cooperating fully with the FBI, claims this is no big deal.

Stone told the Journal that while he did receive a link to Nevins’ blog from Guccifer 2.0, he didn’t share the stolen data published on the blog with anyone.

See? Nothing to see here, so just move along.

Everyday there is simply more and more evidence that the Trump campaign worked with the Russians to hijack our democracy.

In the end I am confident we will know it all.

This is OT but I just saw on my local news that Governor Hit Wheels here in Texas was joking earlier today about having a gun handy in case he sees any reporters. I hate that mother fucker!

Count me in as an Abbott hater as well. Rick Perry is a dumbass but I don't think he is quite as gleefully cruel as Abbott appears to be.

  2. People are tracking and stealing info off internet sites all the damn time, so Stone did not have to share it with anyone. They could just take it and give him a false alibi.

Watch A Mentally Not There Trump Wander Off From Meeting And Be Brought Back By Staff

Here is a video of a moment where a vacant-eyed Trump wandered off from a meeting with Netanyahu and had to be brought back by staff. The President Of The United States looks like the lights are on, but no one is home.

By establishing a war room to fight the Russia collusion investigation, the Trump White House is all but admitting their guilt.

I would say Stone is "one royal piece of crap", but that would be an insult to ruling monarchs everywhere, crap and the number one.

I wonder if he will be another Lee Atwater and regret what he did during his lifetime as he lays dying. In Stone's case, I doubt it. He really is a disgusting breathing lief form.

The Washington Post Just Published an Explosive Report About Jared Kushner and Russia

The Russian ambassador reportedly said that president’s son-in-law proposed setting up a “secret communications channel” with the Kremlin.

    ...

Jared Kushner and Russia’s ambassador to Washington discussed the possibility of setting up a secret and secure communications channel between Trump’s transition team and the Kremlin, using Russian diplomatic facilities in an apparent move to shield their pre-inauguration discussions from monitoring, according to U.S. officials briefed on intelligence reports.

Ambassador Sergei Kislyak reported to his superiors in Moscow that Kushner, then President-elect Trump’s son-in-law and confidant, made the proposal during a meeting on Dec. 1 or 2 at Trump Tower, according to intercepts of Russian communications that were reviewed by U.S. officials. Kislyak said Kushner suggested using Russian diplomatic facilities in the United States for the communications.

The meeting also was attended by Michael Flynn, Trump’s first national security adviser.

Though I wrote about the particulars yesterday afternoon, the picture only fully crystallized for me this afternoon. President Trump’s visit to Brussels/Europe wasn’t just another grab bag of impulsive aggression and gaffes. It wasn’t scattershot. It was quite clearly focused on destabilizing and perhaps eviscerating the NATO Alliance and somewhat secondarily, but relatedly, the European Union. This has been the strategic goal of Russia and before it the Soviet Union for decades. The sum total of everything that happened on this trip casts the entire Trump/Russia story in a decidedly more ominous light.

And the light was already quite ominous.

  14. So what?

Will all of Trump's executive orders be rescinded?

Will all of his cabinet picks be replaced?

In the end, what difference will it make? The damage is done.

G.W. stole the election but nothing changed.

When the Supreme Court struck down the gerrymandering in Texas it didn't matter. Those Republicans still kept their seats.

All this proves is that cheating pays and those that cheat suffer no consequences. They WIN.
