Donald Trump actually buys ad time to convince you that his first 100 days were awesome. No, I am NOT kidding.

I actually woke up to this thing today and had to stop and wonder if it was not an SNL skit that I missed or something.

"America has rarely seen such success."

"America investing in American jobs again.,"

"America becoming more energy independent."

"The biggest tax cut plan in history."

None of that, not one word of that, is actually true.

It is all a complete fabrication.

And Trump covers for that by adding this:

"You wouldn't know it from watching the news ("Fake News" banner prominently placed at this point.), America is winning and president Trump is making America great again."

Yes it is now so great that it is completely invisible to the American people, unless they attend his rallies or watch his commercials.

If ever there were any doubt that Donald Trump suffered from a pathological narcissistic disorder this should put those doubts to rest.

This is insane.

We need more than a 1-2 month “ignorance relief “ period we need a permanent one.

He forgot to add that the economy has slowed down since he has become dictator :)
    =============================================

President Donald Trump said in a radio interview Monday that if Andrew Jackson had been president in 1860, the Civil War would have been averted. "Had Andrew Jackson been a little later you wouldn't have had the Civil War," he stated, and asked, "why could that one not have been worked out?"

I asked David Blight, a Yale University historian whose work has focused on slavery, the Civil War, and Reconstruction, what he thought of Trump's remarks. Here's his response:

    "Worked out?" God!...
Well, I just read these postings? So he really said this about Jackson and the Civil War? All I can say to you is that from day one I have believed that Donald Trump's greatest threat to our society and to our democracy is not necessarily his authoritarianism, but his essential ignorance - of history, of policy, of political process, of the Constitution. Saying that if Jackson had been around we might not have had the Civil War is like saying that one strong, aggressive leader can shape, prevent, move history however he wishes. This is simply 5th grade understanding of history or worse. And this comes from the President of the United States! Under normal circumstances if a real estate tycoon weighed in on the nature of American history from such ignorance and twisted understanding we would simply ignore or laugh at him. But since this man lives in the historic White House and wields the constitutional powers of the presidency and the commander in chief we have to pay attention. Trump's "learning" of American history must have stopped even before the 5th grade. I wish I could say this is funny and not deeply disturbing. My profession should petition the President to take a one or two month leave of absence, VP Pence steps in for that interim, and Trump goes on a retreat in one of his resorts for forced re-education. It could be a new tradition called the presidential education leave. Or perhaps in New Deal tradition, an "ignorance relief" period. This alone might gain the United States again some confidence and respect around the world.

Didn't McCain's team try to "educate" Sarah Palin but gave up and had her memorize talking points instead?

You can't educate the willfully ignorant narcissistic child man.

They did, and all Trump can memorize is "tax cuts, protect the people with pre existing conditions (except knee injuries, evidently,) protect all zygotes, build up the depleted Obama military, get out of trade agreements and treaties, drill everywhere on Earth, and end regulations." Oh, and "I won so big, the press is still mad that they got it wrong. Here, have an Electoral College map-see what I did! Want me to sign that for you?"

Professor Blight is being too generous to Trump. I do not believe that Trump can learn anything. It's way too late. Were he a fifth grader, he could probably learn but it's way too late now. His brain cannot focus on facts and, if he's not the center of discussion, he won't even engage in it. Trump is simply hopeless and that is a terrifying fact for us, the American people, and for the world.

    Dark Triad

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_triad

The dark triad is a subject in psychology
that focuses on three personality traits:
    narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy.

♦ Narcissism is characterized by grandiosity, pride, egotism, and a lack of empathy.
♦ Machiavellianism is characterized by manipulation and exploitation of others, a cynical disregard for morality, and a focus on self-interest and deception.
♦ Psychopathy is characterized by continuing antisocial behavior, impulsivity, selfishness, callousness, and remorselessness.

If there was ever a time for Extraterrestrials to (hopefully) benignly make themselves known and rescue poor planet earth from destruction -- this is it!

I know people who really believe this will happen, "if things get bad enough."

Where are the "checks and balances" -- where is common sense? where are good men and not greedy ones? All it would take is 5 signatures and Amendment 25 could happen, right? I know, then Pence, but then we could start over with Resistance...right?

Another broken promise. Trump told his base that the South Koreans are paying for it. OOPS!

When will impeachment hearings begin? It is time to send Donald his orders to vacate the white house and take his nasty dirty cabinet of clowns with him. He is a serial documented, clinical sociopathic liar. The most dangerous liar on the planet. He is a disgusting pos. He must be impeached asap.

  15. Must be the same agency putting out those anti-Obamacare ads when the Republicans were trying to dismantle it.

They're not working on the sane and educated among us. Only playing to his base who drank the Koolaid and are true believers. So basically, wasted money and ineffective.

But thanks for that infusion of cash into the economy.
