Apparently Donald Trump's overseas trip was an even bigger shit show than we were previously led to believe.

Trump's public remarks during his NATO visit were embarrassing enough.

And of course he pushed that Montenegro Prime Minister.
However now we learn that during the private meeting with the members of NATO that things got even worse.

Courtesy of Foreign Policy:

After a public showing on May 25 in which Trump refused to endorse NATO’s collective defense clause and famously shoved the Montenegrin leader out of the way, leaders of the 29-member alliance retired to a closed-door dinner that multiple sources tell Foreign Policy left alliance leaders “appalled.”

Trump had two versions of prepared remarks for the dinner, one that took a traditional tack and one prepared by the more NATO-skeptic advisors, Stephen Miller and Steve Bannon. “He dumped both of them and improvised,” one source briefed on the dinner told FP.

During the dinner, Trump went off-script to criticize allies again for not spending enough on defense. (The United States is one of only five members that meets NATO members’ pledge to spend 2 percent of GDP on defense.)

Several sources briefed extensively on the dinner say he said 2 percent wasn’t enough and allies should spend 3 percent of GDP on defense, and he even threatened to cut back U.S. defense spending and have Europeans dole out “back pay” to make up for their low defense spending if they didn’t pony up quickly enough. Two sources say Trump didn’t mention Russia once during the dinner.

“Oh, it was like a total shitshow,” said one source, who spoke on condition of anonymity as they weren’t authorized to discuss the closed-door dinner.

“The dinner was far worse than the speech,” said a former senior U.S. government official briefed on dinner. “It was a train wreck. It was awful.”

I was so embarrassed by George W. that I cautioned my daughter to say she was from Canada during her trip to Italy.

Now I am so embarrassed by Donald Trump I want to claim I am Canadian while visiting the grocery store right here in America.

Portland isn’t Portlandia. It’s a capital of white supremacy.

    1. Anonymous11:58 AM

I've lived here for 38 years and have worked for the City for 27 of those years.

Mismanaged city government and an inept police bureau that can't keep a police chief if they wanted to.

    2. Anonymous3:35 PM

I visit Portland a few times a year to visit family and quite frankly a lot of the downtown area is very scary; heroin kids, drunks, lots of felonious-looking folks and so many homeless beggars have kept me out of the core downtown for a few years now with no plans to return to those areas until it feels more safe and clean.

So many romanticize the "keep it weird" vibe and seriously, it's weird but not in a good way.

I was an FBI agent. Trump’s lack of concern about Russian hacking shocks me

    1. Anonymous4:10 AM

Well, I'm not a former FBI agent but I was a child during the late 1940's and early 1950's and I remember the very real concerns everyone had about Russia then. Russia, with its former KGB leader today, has actually changed very little since then. Maybe more subtle to people who don't remember or refuse to but every bit as dangerous to the world.

It’s Kellyannne Conway at a British Embassy party, loudly sharing White House gossip off-the-record to a group of reporters, while mocking Reince Priebus, asking what legislative director Marc Short does all day, and explaining that Trump told her to say, “Jim Comey will have to wait and see about the tapes” but she converted that to, “No comment.”

    Kellyanne Leaks

Kellyanne was at an embassy party last night, leaking sensitive Priebus and Trump White House conversations to @washingtonpostreporters. 1/

I should mention that @KellyannePolls was probably talking OTR to @costareports@danbalz and @PhilipRucker -- but loudly, at a DC party.

    Wide Load Ahead

Holy Bat Shit. What the hell is that old lady doing wearing a tight green dress with tight panties on showing her muffin top in front of a bunch of men? She's lowriding, you can see her panty line below her ass crack.

    1. Anonymous11:40 AM

Thanks 11:18, now I can't eat dinner because of that image in my mind.

    2. Anonymous2:18 PM

Yep, you can always tell when the ReTHUGs are in the majority. DC becomes a runway of bad fashion, dowdy, obese and ill-fitting on the one side and slutty porn star wannabes on the other (Ivanhhhnka and Melanidiot)

    3. Anonymous3:27 PM

I'm a little surprised that anyone would choose to wear panties with a dress like that, a thong maybe, but panties? Who does that?

A nice pair of mid-thigh length spanks and no panties would have improved that view so much for all of us, particularly some spanks with butt padding to give a little shape to that flat ass. Swear to god, it seems like some women just leave the house without trying at all.

  5. Anonymous11:40 AM

    A heathen liar.

  6. Anonymous11:50 AM

Embarrassed about this president is an understatement. I am horrified and apoplectic. The sooner he resigns the better. How to get to that point is the question. The best plan so far is to let him blather on until the midterms when the Senate and House will go to the Dems and then impeach his ass out of the WH. I hope this is possible.

    1. Anonymous12:52 PM

It's a damned shame that so many do NOT understand how important mid term elections are.

    2. Anonymous2:20 PM

Not likely thanks to gerrymandering, disenfranchisement and racism. The ReTHUG adherents still think T.Rump is an anti-Obama stance. Fools.

    3. Anonymous3:24 PM

Midterms are NOT the progressive's strong point; I hold no hope that it will not be business-as-usual in 2018. Since the November election progressives have shown no increase in voting numbers nationally in some very important local and state elections, so I don't see them changing their stripes 17 months from now.

If elections happening recently following the Trump win didn't kick 'em in the pants and get 'em to the polls nothing will.

  7. Anonymous12:01 PM

Remind me to sleep through first whore Melania throwing her "husband" the party of all birthday parties this coming week.

    1. Anonymous12:59 PM

Ted Nugent playing no doubt. No credible artist is going to show up for that @sshole let alone a "who's who" of celebrities.

    2. Anonymous1:12 PM

Unless folks are 'paid' for them to show up!

  8. Anonymous12:37 PM

I'm fine with Angela Merkel being the new leader of the "free" world. Also fine with other countries thumbing their noses at us. When you're inept, you're inept. Help at local levels when you many people suffering and will continue to.

    1. Anonymous1:21 PM

I want Angela or Justin as POTUS

    2. Anonymous2:21 PM

And Ma Ron and Trudeau!! Even Jio Xiping is better than the orange shitgibbon.

    3. Anonymous3:10 PM

Mrs. Merkel is far, far superior than The Donald! No comparison. She must have literally wanted to deck his fat ass when they were together.

Pretty sorry situation when Americans are rooting much louder for other countries vs their own!

The Donald is a pox upon all of us. Thank God other countries see his true colors!

America is in a fucking mess! We will see our own demise due to being ruled by a dictatorship!

IMPEACHMENT is more than necessary for The Donald!

    4. Anonymous7:02 PM

Do you mean "Justin from Canada"?

Macron from France would be ok also.

  9. Anonymous1:14 PM

Way off topic, but I'm 56 years old and my earliest memories of tv are of Adam West as Batman. Another part of my childhood is gone. RIP millionaire Bruce Wayne

  10. WA Skeptic2:36 PM

Is it too much to hope that Conway joins Bannon in Montana or somewhere with no cell service?

    What a bunch of a&&holes.

  11. Anonymous7:03 PM

I don’t think anyone had to tell us that. All the world leaders went home and told their citizens they cannot rely on the USA any longer.

Who is the Neanderthal walking across the stage in photo one?

oops that is little donnie, the hunchback, triple chin, fat ass of trump tower.

  13. Anonymous8:11 PM

How come we didn’t hear anything about Melanomia dazzling everyone with her fluency in 100 billion foreign languages while on this trip?

I know she spoke with the Pope in Italian, but that is no biggy since a lot of people in Slovenia speak Italian because the borders use to change back and forth.

Or was she speaking in English and they thought it was some foreign language?

Don't feed the trolls!
It just goes directly to their thighs.
