Last night Bill Maher addressed progress and the jobs we will never, and should never, see again.

I thought last night's show was pretty entertaining, though I could have done without that Breitbart apologist coming on and attempting to suggest that his website does the country a service by covering the news stories that the MSM will not cover.

In other words the fake ones.

However apparently he got schooled by intelligence analyst Malcom Nance who demanded an apology for a false article on Breitbart that resulted in he and his family receiving 31 death threats.

This year I have begun to record Real Time specifically so I can FF through the people I wouldn't spit on. Maher offering us Right-wing assholes is no different and no less cynical than Megyn Kelly doing it- I'm certain he doesn't kid himself that they'd contribute anything worthwhile to our day.

Real Time has become the show I'm most likely to switch off. That Cornel Wilde bullshit was embarrassing and as for that Milo creep, I may not even have tuned in that night, I don't even recall.

There are so many high-value guests- Ana Navarro could make a living as a comedienne and I could almost forgive her being a staunch Republican because of her background... in a knee-jerk reaction generations of mentally-scarred refugees fleeing communists have voted Right-wing until the day they die even when it seemed irrational to do so- and there are plenty of other disaffected Republican commentators ready to talk some sense, not to mention opportunities to give some outstanding Democratic politicians a little oxygen.

There's no reason on God's green earth for Maher to be giving publicity to Breitbart.

I wish you wouldn't give Bill Maher any coverage at all. He is not even close to being truly liberal.

      Who ever said he was?

    2. He's a genius at what he does. Millions agree. Millions.

He's also human. Fallible. We can live with that. Happily.

Also too his incessant Islamophobia is annoying.

And he's a good friend of filth like Ann Coulter, which is not a good reflection on anyone.

He hates all religions, why would he give Islam a pass? That would be pretty hypocritical.

I make a point of never missing Bill Maher's show - Friday nights on cable...as he does an outstanding job.

I'm normally very interested in the guests he has on his show as well - gives me an introduction to them that I've sometimes never had!

Bill is knowledgeable, well read, up on current events, knows his politics and has a terrific sense of humor. I recommend him to everyone as they will actually learn from Bill and the folks he has as guests.

--Ivanka Trump now under investigation for foreign business ties

--Report: White House staffers are discussing when, not if, Donald Trump will resign

“WH source: Alarmed Trump staffers are starting to talk about WHEN (not if) Trump will resign. Wondering if Pence will be forced out, too.”

--Donald Trump holed up in isolation at Camp David, refuses to meet with anyone

...Now he’s at Camp David for the first time, amid word that he’s holed up there in isolation and refusing to hold meetings with anyone.

That’s the word from former Secret Service investigator Pesach ‘Pace’ Lattin, who posted the following today: “Trump has isolated himself at Camp David and refusing to see anyone. He has no appointments for 60 hours” (link). He then went on to add “Trump once implied Camp David was a rustic shit hole. Isolating himself for almost three days there is telling”

I liked the bit about Kohls. I was a department "Lead" for them 12 years ago making 7:50 an hour given a whole half of a store, domestics all the way to housewares.

We put up with it because it was full time so you got some kind of insurance that part time did not. Kohls is the worst retailer there is to work for. Stock room left at noon so if a customer wanted that outdoor chair you had to go get it and haul it down yourself. We were given "planograms" every month we even had to switch shelving. We hid dressing room z racks full of clothes in the stockroom at closing because only one person was in the women's department and between being called to registers to help and trying to clean up your department it was as close to slave labor as you can get. We used to be pulled from our departments to do a blitz on the women's department because they were too cheap to pay two people to work in any department.

There motto was "We are a self serve store" As far as i'm concerned retail has done it to themselves with lack of service, low pay and bad sales philosophey.

I am far from being a religious person, but I think everyone in Congress should read what Dr. William Barber had to say to Joy Reid this morning.

He talked about how the shooting at the baseball practice has resulted in many Republicans talking about coming together, but that their actions don't match their words. Their experience SHOULD have made them reevaluate many of the Republican policies that hurt people.

"In other words, it's hypocrisy. If congresspeople pray for one another, and they should P-R-A-Y, but then if they pass policies that prey, P-R-E-Y, on the poor and the minorities and the sick, then we have a serious moral problem."

Of course it was just a show put on by people trying to look humble and trying to appeal to the religious.

It scared the shit out of them and that's why Trump went to Camp David instead of New Jersey with his pissed off looking wife and his poor kid and in laws.

What a miserable first family. it reminds me off Princess Diana when she had had enough.

After eight years of serving America giving the best he had and giving the best she had i want another President Obama. I want a President who stays off Twitter and does not whine. I want a President who spends his time as a public servant and not thinking he is a King.

I want a President who cant make money on his properties on our dime.

I want a First Lady that walks with her husband and not behind him [ have you noticed that]I want a President who is respected by our allies again.

This shit cannot stand we are lowering ourselves and have become a joke.
