Special Counsel's Russian probe has now expanded to include former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, and may soon include Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Courtesy of the AP:

The special counsel investigating possible ties between President Donald Trump’s campaign and Russia’s government has taken over a separate criminal probe involving former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, and may expand his inquiry to investigate the roles of the attorney general and deputy attorney general in the firing of FBI Director James Comey, The Associated Press has learned.

The Justice Department’s criminal investigation into Manafort, who was forced to resign as Trump campaign chairman in August amid questions over his business dealings years ago in Ukraine, predated the 2016 election and the counterintelligence probe that in July began investigating possible collusion between Moscow and associates of Trump.

The move to consolidate the matters, involving allegations of kleptocracy of Ukrainian government funds, indicates that Special Counsel Robert Mueller is assuming a broad mandate in his new role running the sensational investigation. The expansiveness of Mueller’s investigation was described to the AP. No one familiar with the matter has been willing to discuss the scope of his investigation on the record because it is just getting underway and because revealing details could complicate its progress.

In an interview separately Friday with the AP, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein acknowledged that Mueller could expand his inquiry to include Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ and Rosenstein’s own roles in the decision to fire Comey, who was investigating the Trump campaign. Rosenstein, who appointed Mueller as special counsel to take over the investigation, wrote the memorandum intended to justify Trump’s decision to fire Comey. Sessions met with Trump and Rosenstein to discuss Trump’s decision to fire him despite Sessions’ pledge not to become involved in the Russia case.

Later in the article Rosenstein stated that if he were to be included as part of the investigation that he would recuse himself as Mueller's supervisor.

We already know that Jeff Sessions has recused himself from overseeing the investigation and since we have also recently learned of yet another meeting between Sessions and Russian Ambassador Kislyak, his days at the Justice Department may be numbered.

It appears that this investigation is growing exponentially and may soon include virtually everybody associated with the Trump campaign, or his current White House staff.

At some point Trump may find himself even more isolated and alone, simply waiting for the fateful knock on the door that he must know is coming.

I saw on the news this morning that Penn State officials who covered for Jerry Sundusky will face a couple months jail time followed by house arrest. Took 'em long enough.

That the same fate and worse could await dRumpf and his minions is a pipe dream. They always get off.....

"Three men, which have since been identified as 62-year-old William Provost, 51-year-old Dennis Ratcliff, and 36-year-old Michael Dore were sitting in a circle on the basement’s concrete floor and ritualistically chanting while eating what police initially believed was an animal carcass, but was later identified as human remains." Provost’s accomplices, 51-year-old Dennis Ratcliff, and 36-year-old Michael Dore, also admitted to cannibalizing human flesh because they believed it would cure depression and told arresting officer’s that Provost took them under his wing in late-2012."

Sessions is a nasty little garden gnome (read the harry potter books to get the reference).

I think it has come to the time where the first one to flip on trump with actual facts will start an avalanche.

He deserves to be out of OUR WH on his ear, broke, and with the russian mafia after his fat orange ass.

Conservative White Nazi Americans irate over Bill Maher using the N word last night. But it was okay for it being said when Obama was POTUS.

TODAY> Across the country, peaceful demonstrations will be arranged on Saturday, June 3rd. Our goals are simple:

    1. Congressional investigations should be properly resourced and pursued free of partisan interests, or an independent investigation must be established,
    2. As much information should be made available to the public as possible, and as soon as possible,
    3. If crimes were committed or if collusion is discovered, it must be prosecuted.

    MARCH FOR TRUTH!

"of all the issues where Rohrabacher and Trump align, Russia may be the least pressing concern for the constituents who are rallying against him. So far, Rohrabacher has voted in line with Trump's positions more than 93 percent "
"we're going to be neutering our President Trump. You don't cut the balls off your bull and expect that's he's going to go out and get the job done."
"We have a lot of folks who said they never paid attention before, a lot of no-party-preference people who are really concerned about democracy," 'This is not a sprint, it's a marathon.' But I think as long as Trump keeps tweeting, we'll keep having interest!"

When Russia and China find people in their countries doing even .01% of what this crew has done for DJT, they put bags over their heads, drag them out of meetings, execute them, and bill the families for the bullets.

I'm all for Democracy, but this looks like a good thing. You know, 2nd Amendment solution and all that.
