Bill Maher laments the end of the summer mental health break.

My favorite part:

"So I don't know how this happened, or when exactly this stupidifying of the whole year. Maybe it was the advent of Fox News. Maybe it was when we made stars out of the Kardashians. Maybe it was the day John McCain decided to let an ill advised summer fling with a ditzy moron last all the way into November.  Whatever it was we have got to get summer back. We've got to be able to enjoy stupidity again. Hard earned, respectable, stupidity. That's what my goal is in the age of Trump."

By the way the whole show last night was very solid.

From the opening monologue, to the interview with  Dan Savage, to the great folks on the panel, the show pretty entertaining from start to finish.

Which is great, because the show last week was absolutely terrible and was bad to the point where I almsot skipped this one.

Glad I didn't.

I love Bill Maher. Thought he show was outstanding last night and straight on...he is obviously sick and tired of covering Trump and his idiocy.

I hope he has a good month off which, I think, is well deserved.

I will miss him keeping me informed every Friday night!

Remember when we had a President who did not tweet every damn day about being butt hurt.

Remember when we had a President who made statements on policy and we had a First Lady who had an agenda besides sticking up for her idiot husband? Remember when the office of the Presidency was respected?

    Enjoy your Summer.

Good memories. Remember when we were once a country that loved one another despite our differences? Then Palin made fair game all the things Christians hate, and enter Donald Trump who is their cover man. I can't wait 'till all this at the end and we go back to normal. You know where we helped people and tried to make this a country where everyone had a chance, not just the rich, and religious. Tis not fair.

I feel that the Republicans are languishing in Trump's evil limelight. He tweets distractions to us mindless idiots and we fall for the bait. Meanwhile they do whatever the hell they want.
I thought We the People were in charge. When the hell did we become mindless slaves to whoever they put in power in our local and federal government?
I am getting frustrated that the United States was built on a house of cards and it's all falling in. Grrrr.

  4. Well, thank the gods that we rarely talk about the ditzy moron and her spawn, her sleazy pimp husband, and the stupid people who hang out with them or gods forbid actually marry them.

Don't feed the trolls!
It just goes directly to their thighs.
