Conservative columnist Peggy Noonan eviscerates Donald Trump in new column.

Courtesy of the Wall Street Journal:

The president’s primary problem as a leader is not that he is impetuous, brash or naive. It’s not that he is inexperienced, crude, an outsider. It is that he is weak and sniveling. It is that he undermines himself almost daily by ignoring traditional norms and forms of American masculinity.

He’s not strong and self-controlled, not cool and tough, not low-key and determined; he’s whiny, weepy and self-pitying. He throws himself, sobbing, on the body politic. He’s a drama queen. It was once said, sarcastically, of George H.W. Bush that he reminded everyone of her first husband. Trump must remind people of their first wife. Actually his wife, Melania, is tougher than he is with her stoicism and grace, her self-discipline and desire to show the world respect by presenting herself with dignity. […]

His public brutalizing of Attorney General Jeff Sessions isn’t strong, cool and deadly; it’s limp, lame and blubbery. “Sessions has taken a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes,” he tweeted this week. Talk about projection.

Damn!

Noonan sums up her verbal curb stomping of Donald Trump thusly:

Donald Trump now is like an unfunny Woody Allen.

Yeah in the world of conservatism it does not get much worse than to be compared to Woody Allen or Alan Alda.

Though to be honest I think either one of those guys could crush Donald Trump in a street brawl.

I mean by the time the guy finally liberated his overly plump arms from the confines of his suit, courtesy of Omar the Tent Maker, he would be way too exhausted to actually make a fist.

Other than that I think that Noonan has perfectly described Trump's lack of manliness in a way that I am sure will inspire him to wake up at 3:00 AM and slam his pudgy digits onto the keys of his smart phone until the hurting stops.

Maybe he will even call up the Mooch and have him do that thing where he describes what a great athlete Trump is:

“He’s the most competitive person I’ve ever met,” Scaramucci said. “Okay? I’ve seen this guy throw a dead spiral through a tire. I’ve seen him at Madison Square Garden with a topcoat on. He’s standing in the key; he’s hitting foul shots and swishing them, all right? He sinks 30-foot putts.”

"Say it again Moochy, only slower this time and try to make it sexy."

"Any officer who causes injury to a person in custody is open internal disciplinary charges, criminal Assault charges, Official Misconduct, and Federal civil rights violations, as well as civil liability. This is NOT the Wild West, as POTUS seems to imagine.

Police Officers are not judge and jury. We do not meet out punishment. Every person has the constitutional right to a presumption of innocence. "

‘The White House is failing’: Adviser admits someone coming ‘from another planet’ could see Trump is a disaster

According to the Washington Post, the abrupt departures of Priebus and Press Secretary Sean Spicer — both with strong links to the Republican Party — is reminiscent of the “Red Wedding,” a reference to a famous blood-bath scene in HBO’s “Games of Thrones.”

Another conservative who provides advice to the White House was downright fatalistic about the continuing tribulations of a Trump administration beset by scandals, FBI investigations, an uncontrollable president and back-stabbing among staffers.

“I think any observer — including one that did not speak English and knew nothing about politics and came from another planet and solar system — could, after observing the situation in the White House, realize the White House is failing,” explained the advisor.

“And when the White House is failing, you can’t replace the president,” the fearful conservative added.

That doesn't make sense at all - 'when the White House is failing you can't replace the president'!

That should be WHEN he should be booted out of office! There is already so much 'out there' as to the verifiable reasons for impeachment. Committing treason is the leader in reasons.

Obvs, that poster meant ...Like (as easily as) you can underlings like a chief of staff or press secretary. And continue the next morning. Where. One replaces the person termed POTUS, it becomes a new administration. And it means a failed administration and national upheaval (even if it the worst administration in the country's history)... And I look forward to that day!

Also, too, WAY more attractive. He never needed to grab anyone, women chased him. tRump only attracts gold diggers. Of course, we can see for outselves how athletic tRump is, the way he lumbers onstage, slowly walking, clapping and "smiling". That is a very attractive photo of him with this article, shows the very weak tRump chin. They all have it.

Yes, Bill had good ratings after he was naughty.

      Hillary won the popular vote.

History will show the Clintons are gazillion times more favorable in every way.

Trump only lies and promotes himself as great and winner.

      Trump is the biggest loser.

Except he is fat and gross and he is not losing in that way.

Just there for the $$$. Her parents depend on her, too, they live at tRump Tower, travel to Mar-A-Lago with her. Seems she is afraid to move without them. It was reported that their divorce was ready to be finalized, when he "won" the election. He needed her to pretend to be a family man, so he must have bribed her to stay. Can't make her look happy, though, unless all the Botox makes it impossible for her to smile? Anyway, part of the deal must be that her parents are with her at all times.

    4. Totally agree. She was a nothing...two bit nude model and star in a lesbian film. Somehow she managed to marry this horrible excuse for a human. I am sure her prenup keeps her tied to him. I laugh when they show pictures of her not holding his hand. It is because her hands are so much bigger than his and they don't want the photos to show that. I also shake my head at how poorly she dresses. Picks very ugly clothing just because it is expensive. I think the designers get her to wear their ugliest things as a joke.
Think of the good she could do if she chose to be a voice for autism instead of hiding her son away and pretending he is not autistic.

      Yep.
Drumpf probablt won't allow her to talk about Baron's autism because he ca't admit he has a child with special needs. There s no disgrace in it, but someone like Drumpf will never understand it. He looks at Baron as dfective product.

Months ago these idiots were heralding Trump. Just yesterday, I thought I heard Prebus or whatever his name is, say that Trump is the smartest business man he knows. Even as his ass was getting the boot he bucked up and said good things about Donald. WTF!
I think Donald took a Putin tactic to tow a lot of these Republicans in line by blackmailing him.
I mean if I got treated like Rience Prebus I would be singing like a canary. Honestly.
There is something very wrong with how people still say good things about him even after Donald fired them, degraded them, and so forth.
He is either the spectacular person in person that people brag, or he has a dossier on these people. I mean, if you are Putin's pal you had to have learned a few nasty tricks of the trade, right?
And to this minute, I don't understand how everyone that's gettting disillusioned with Donald now, could not see through him a year ago?
I say he's using some kind of warlock magic and is covered. (Don't get on me about this. I am entitled to conspiracy theories, real or not just like every other person out there.)

Agree with you. It is standard Mafia Don 101.
And the Magnitsky Act will be getting in their way as Trump tries to aid and abet Putin who wants that Act null and void.

      https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2017/7/28/1684989/-William-Browder-breaks-down-exactly-what-Putin-wanted-from-Trump-and-why

The Magnitsky Act, formally known as the Russia and Moldova Jackson–Vanik Repeal and Sergei Magnitsky Rule of Law Accountability Act of 2012, is a bipartisan bill passed by the U.S. Congress and signed by President Obama in November–December 2012, intending to punish Russian officials responsible for the death of Russian lawyer Sergei Magnitsky in a Moscow prison in 2009.

I found the whole speech really strange...since when does it matter at all that a president can shoot a basketball, throw a football or hit a golf ball? None of those exhibit the mental abilities needed to be president. And, for the record, I do not believe that fat asshole can do any of those things.

"Those who voted for repeal have insurance. They have money. They have jobs. They have no idea what it’s like out here, and They. Do. Not. Care.

Vote these people out. Make your voice heard. Call their offices, send them letters, email them, and tell them that refusing to provide health insurance for all of US should cost all of THEM. Because that’s what they’ve turned it into. US versus THEM. Only “them” is now our own elected officials.

The average net worth of a senator in 2011 was almost eight million dollars. Of someone in the House, seven million! Only a savage could sit on that kind of wealth and deliberately decide to turn out the disabled, the poor, the infants and the elderly.

This is not government. This is barbarism."
