Jill Stein is now among the folks the Senate Judiciary Committee wants to talk to concerning the Russia probe. Let the speculation begin.

Courtesy of Newsweek:

There are 41 names included in the document requests sent to Donald Trump Jr.’s lawyer, Alan Futerfas, and Paul Manafort’s lawyer, Reginald Brown, by the Senate Judiciary Committee. The requests include communications involving many individuals known to be ensnared in the Russia investigation, from President Donald Trump's former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

But while this roster of characters would have made for a fine John Le CarrƩ novel, one name included therein immediately attracted online speculation: that of former Green Party presidential candidate Dr. Jill Stein.

What, exactly, Stein has to do with Trump Jr.’s meeting last summer with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya is unclear, as the Senate Judiciary Committee provided no context for its demands, which are to be honored by August 2. A request for an explanation to Stein’s former campaign manager remains unanswered at this time. And though she is active on Twitter, Stein has made no acknowledgement on that social media network of her name’s appearance in the Trump Jr. inquest.

I know what you're all thinking. I'm thinking it as well.

Still we should not jump to the conclusion that Jill Stein is a secret agent for the Kremlin who was sent to help Doanld Trump steal the election away from Hillary Clinton.

Not until that gets proven of course.
Yep, that shouldn't take too much longer.

You can't beat the cred she gets when thought of as a subversive.

CNN series to focus on Russian spies 'posing as your neighbor' (co-workers) in the U.S.

Reminds me of the film we had to watch as interns in the 60s (it was really film, kids). Bright-eyed young gullible engineer is duped by a trench coat wearing Russian spy. Security guy was not amused by the giggles of the teenagers at the Boris and Natasha plot (and accents).

I'm big believer in "follow the money", I don't know about Stein but I'll put money on a lot of congress critters have their hands in questionable Russian investments, thus compromise-able. From at least as far back as 2008 Trump Jr.’s “money pouring in from Russia” claim.

    1. Anonymous8:04 AM

Stein got another check from Putin Friday afternoon so that's why she was popping off.

    2. And in the midst of a major orgasm now she's having another sixty seconds of fame.

    Alaskans daily reminder :

Keep calling. Once is not enough. Us blue staters are counting on you.

PS My senator rode on a public bus from one city to another yesterday to find out what people are thinking. #whyIlovemybluestate

Hopefully someone retweeted that pic back to her.

    Jill does echo Don/Vlad.
"I think it’s very related to the fact that the Democrats are looking for someone to blame.” Jill Stein

Alt-right: The attacks, for the most part, focused on McCain’s willingness to work with Democrats during his three decades in the Senate. Those attacks, some of which are too tasteless to mention here, speak to the utter debasement of civic discourse, particularly on the internet.

Popular theme is don't work with Democrats, blame them if you must mention them.

Interesting Washington Post below. A couple of things can happen similar to Watergate.

PRESIDENT TRUMP PARDONS HIS FAMILY AND AIDES and will resign on condition Vice-president Pence will pardon President Trump upon Trump's resignation and Pence's acceptance as president.

If this were to happen then something needs to be done now:

If this happens and President Trump, family and aides escapes to another country (Russia) then PRESIDENT TRUMP AND FAMILY SHOULD BE SOUGHT AFTER FOR WAR CRIMES AGAINST THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

    Washington Post:
Trump is considering presidential pardons. Ford never recovered from the one he gave Nixon.

What Trump could learn from Ford

Presidential pardons, or at least the possibility of them, are back in the news: This week, The Post’s Ashley Parkerreported that President Trump “has asked his advisers about his power to pardon aides, family members and even himself in connection with the probe” as Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation hangs over his administration like a specter.

Whether Trump could actually pardon himself remains uncertain. It would certainly be an unprecedented feat....

    1. Anonymous7:15 AM

Honest question: Wouldn't said pardons have to coincide with resignations? Including himself.

  7. Anonymous7:15 AM

I was reading about Jill Stein during the election.Someone commented they had worked with her in Boston I believe, and said she was batshit crazy and a waste of an Ivy league education.

  8. Anonymous7:20 AM

O/T: We had massive floods her in MI a couple of weeks have been gutted, roads washed out, schools has been quite the mess, and will cost millions to fix. Our GOP Governor has asked for a federal disaster designation so we can access FEMA funds and loans. Thin k we'll even get a tweet from the man consumed with pardons and covering up lies? There isn't even a HEAD of FEMA currently, because Donnie Dumbass hasn't nominated anyone. Bannon's ideas for drowning the government are just to not fill jobs, tout the 'savings' the administration is making, and let the people suffer. Anyone voting GOP should be escorted to Moscow, turn in their passports and see how they like living under a dictator.

Where's Franklin and $arah with their pocket constitutions and bibles, complete with a cookie? Because that cures EVERYTHING.

So sad to hear this, 7:20 AM, and am reminded of Dubya's dumb@ss comment, "Brownie, you're doing a heckuva job" during Katrina when he wasn't doing a damned thing!

O/T I was watching The Last Word last night and John Mc Laughlin was on.He is a former head of the CIA. What he said was chilling. We know trump wants to get rid of Sessions as he can't interfere with Mueller in the Russia probe as Sessions has recused himself.Yesterday the WP released more info that Sessions lied AGAIN abut what he discussed with the Russian Ambassador during the campaign. This could push Sessions further to resign. I was thinking the timing was odd as trump had said publicly he wished he hadn't nominated JS for the AG. If Sessions was gone trump could nominate a new AG who could fire Mueller. Mc Laughlin said he thought the leaked info came from the Russians themselves to further push Sessions out the door.Putin doesn't want his escapades revealed any more than trump. It makes perfect sense and scares the hell out of me.

"Starting bright and early Saturday morning, Trump has furiously tweeted — ten times in 2 hours — on a variety of subjects from Hillary Clinton to Obamacare."

tiny djt>"The Failing New York Times foiled U.S. attempt to kill the single most wanted terrorist,Al-Baghdadi.Their sick agenda over National Security"

“My son Donald openly gave his e-mails to the media & authorities whereas Crooked Hillary Clinton deleted (& acid washed) her 33,000 e-mails!”

"The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed it “had information” from “top ISIS commanders” that al-Baghdadi was dead." BUT NOW>:Speaking to Reuters, he said:

“Baghdadi is definitely alive. He is not dead.

“We have information that he is alive. We believe 99 percent he is alive.

“Don't forget his roots go back to al Qaeda days in Iraq. He was hiding from security services. He knows what he is doing.”

  12. Anonymous7:43 AM

If trump were innocent (which we know he isn't)he would welcome the investigation to prove his innocence.Saying he is going to pardon all these people (including himself) screams his and their guilt!Of course the man is crippling stupid.

Jim Wright FB"Mr. President, the nation is thinking about presidential pardons ONLY because YOU brought it up. Only because YOU asked about it. ONLY because YOU keep talking about it.

It's ironic that he should rant about "fake news" and then immediately resort to pushing actual fake news about the woman who lives rent-free in his head. "Clinton ties to Russia, including Podesta Company, Uranium deal, Russian Reset, big dollar speeches," that's Inforwars. That's Alex Jones. That's Breitbart, Fox & Friends, and Hannity. All of that is long debunked conspiracy theory, especially that bullshit in the middle about uranium. That garbage is not only a lie, it's a clumsy and inept lie, easily disproved by the record, by fact. Not ONE OUNCE of US uranium has gone to Russia and CANNOT, by law. This "Clinton gave US uranium to Russia" bullshit is a total goddamned lie. A complete fabrication thoroughly debunked by the actual record and by US law."
"these lies are promoted as fact, either because Trump believes them or because he's willing to promote known lies in order to placate his drooling base, either way this has real world consequences."
"It's an incredibly dangerous position for us, the United States, to be in. It's incredibly dangerous for institutions that depend on stability and rational self-interest -- such as the stock market, foreign investment in the US, long range planning and development, state and federal budgets, and so on." <Excerpt

    dick FUCK cheney PAY-OFF! OIL-OIL-OIL!

  15. Anonymous8:12 AM

Shift the blame to anyone but not Frump and Hillary and the DNC. They are the one who lied cheated and stole the primary from Bernie.

    1. Anonymous8:37 AM

Bernie isn't a Democrat, you loon, so he didn't have a damn thing stolen from him. If you idiots had half a brain, you'd complain about it being stolen from Martin O'Malley, which would make more sense.

    2. Anonymous2:26 PM

I'd look into that Bernie too. He sowed discontent in a party he really wasn't committed to. That's got Putin's smell all over it.
Putin had every reason to want to bring down the democratic party because people like Hillary were the only ones in his way to his grandiose schemes.

  16. Anonymous8:40 AM

What happened to the money that Stein raised to investigate voter fraud?

  17. Anonymous8:42 AM

Never liked her. She's such a bitch even bitches say she's a bitch.

  18. Anonymous2:24 PM

About damn time. I mean, Putin set this up years ago. America is thick with spies.
She sold out. Don't know for what but they just have to follow the money.

  19. Anonymous3:46 PM

It makes me laugh so hard because so many people gave her so much money to "legitimize the 2016 election" and nothing was accomplished except for Jill Stein became many millions of dollars richer.

Suckers are born every minute and that was a premium example of a really clever shyster grifting a whole bunch of cash from a bunch of hopeful and naive folks.

    1. Anonymous10:16 PM

You must not be an American if you can laugh at traitors in our midst. A real American would not be amused that we have spies running amok in our country.
She was mocking the people she took the money from. Just like Donald did when he cheated people out of their money.

Don't feed the trolls!
It just goes directly to their thighs.
