Sean Spicer quits.

I guess Spicey did not like the news that Trump is bringing in Anthony Scaramucci to do his job.

I'm telling you right now this is just the beginning.

Remember the spokesperson for Trump's legal team also just quit.

There are also rumblings that this is a temporary position for Scaramucci and that his ultimate job trajectory has him taking over for Reince Priebus.

Shit's getting real now.

Trump's Private Clubs In Florida Are Seeking Visas For Foreign Workers

    July 20, 20176:23 PM ET

The Trump Organization is asking the federal government for special visas to hire scores of foreign workers for two of President Trump's private clubs in Florida — the Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach and the Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter.

The requests for H-2B visas, posted on the Department of Labor website, are for 26 cooks, nearly 50 waiters and waitresses, plus housekeepers, a hostess and a bartender. The jobs range in pay from just under $12 to less than $14 an hour. Mar-a-Lago and the Jupiter club have relied on foreign workers in past years for staffing during their peak seasons, which run October through May....

With the flurry of news over the last 24 hours over President Trump’s expanding war on Robert Mueller, we’ve heard a growing chorus of voices comparing this battle to that between the Clinton White House and Independent Counsel Ken Starr during the Whitewater/Lewinsky investigations. The comparison is quite simply lazy, baseless and stupid. It is fair to note that I am a bitter critic of President Trump and during the 1990s was a strong supporter of President Clinton. So my perspective is not disinterested. But I think the facts of the matter are so elementary that the case can be argued on the merits in a very convincing way.

Let’s go through some basic facts.

The Closer Mueller Probe Gets To Trump, The More He Cracks

President Donald Trump is careening towards a face-off with special counsel Robert Mueller.

The President and his legal team are going on the offensive after reports this week indicated that Mueller’s investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election is digging into the President’s business transactions with Russian associates. Trump told the New York Times that he would see any review of his and his family’s finances unrelated to Russia as a “violation” of the probe’s parameters.

In just the past 24 hours, the Times and Washington Post have reported that Trump is taking extraordinary steps to discredit Mueller’s investigation, including digging through his teams’ campaign donations and past clients. The President has also asked about his power to pardon his aides, family, and himself, according to the Post, as if to preempt whatever Mueller’s team may find.

Jay Sekulow, who has assumed a larger role in the President’s reshuffled outside legal team, told the Post that reports that Mueller is investigating a number of Russia-related transactions Trump carried out in the last decade or so date too far back, and are thus “far outside the scope of a legitimate investigation.”

Unfortunately for the President, legal experts and former DOJ officials say, this is just how large-scale government investigations work.

Blumenthal: If Mueller Is Fired, I’d Lead Effort For Watergate-Style Investigation

A member of the Senate Judiciary Committee said reports that the President’s legal team is trying to delegitimize special counsel Robert Mueller, who is leading the Russia probe, is a “standard tactic” for lawyers.

But if the digging for a conflict of interest leads to the President firing Mueller, Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) said he would personally lead the effort to launch an investigation.

“I am very confident that Bob Mueller is going to pursue this investigation vigorously and fairly. There will be a firestorm reaction,” he told CNN, responding to questions about what might happen if President Donald Trump fired Mueller. “And I would lead an effort to legislate a special counsel, as was done during Watergate, perhaps appointed by a three-judge panel. Let’s remember, we’re very far from a conclusion about obstruction of justice, but there needs to be a full, fair, vigorous investigation here.”

Donny Deutsch Blasts Anthony Scaramucci: Like ‘Tire Salesman… Zero Skills’

On a Friday, Morning Joe regular Eddie Glaude casually suggested that President Trump is like Lord Voldemort. And while that might take the cake for blunt analysis on any other given morning — another show regular, Donny Deutsch, wasn’t prepared to let that happen without a fight.

During a discussion of Anthony Scaramucci, soon expected to take up a new job as White House Communications Director, Deutsch was dismissive. Suggesting that the financier and Trump surrogate had “zero skills” for the job and called his work as manager of a fund of funds similar to a “tire salesman.”

“Let me explain what Scaramucci does for a living. He ran of fund of funds,” said Deutsch.

“What’s a fund of funds?” asked Mike Barnicle.

“A fund of funds is somebody who basically raises, takes hedge fund money and kind of distributes it. Basically he is just going out and raising money. He will walk into a pension fund and go, invest $100 million with me. He is basically a salesman, a tire salesman.”

Deutsch then immediately insisted that “I like him” — before the trashing continued.

“He basically has no skill set in communications, which is like Jared Kushner, who has no skill set in negotiating in the Middle East. He has a guy that’s a bright guy, very affable guy. Zero skills.”

The Law Won’t Stop Donald Trump
    But politics might.

Democrats who hope that special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election could bring an end to Donald Trump’s presidency may want to consult a constitutional scholar.

Congress could always impeach the president. But short of that, Trump’s job offers him sweeping protections from the types of accountability that normally apply to regular citizens.

    http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2017/07/20/robert_mueller_don_jr_s_russia_meeting_and_money_laundering.html

    Some context:
    1. Recent articles by Matt Taibbi and Julia Ioffe, who have both lived in and written extensively about Russia, assert that the Russian government works side-by-side with organized crime figures in the theft and embezzlement of corporate wealth, which is often ultimately derived from the sale of natural resources. According to these accounts—and to NGO watchdog reports like Transparency International's Corruption Perception Index—major business figures in Russia only operate with the approval and assistance of corrupt officials and organized crime.

    Trump’s breathtaking surrender to Russia

In the normal course of events, the revelation of attempted collusion with Russia to determine the outcome of a presidential election might cause an administration to overcorrect in the other direction. A president might find ways to confront the range of Russian aggression, including cyber-aggression, if only to avoid the impression of being bought and sold by a strategic rival.

But once again, President Trump — after extended personal contact with Vladimir Putin and the complete surrender to Russian interests in Syria — acts precisely as though he has been bought and sold by a strategic rival. The ignoble cutoff of aid to American proxies means that “Putin won in Syria,” as an administration official was quoted by The Post. Concessions without reciprocation, made against the better judgment of foreign policy advisers, smack more of payoff than outreach. If this is what Trump’s version of “winning” looks like, what might further victory entail? The re- creation of the Warsaw Pact? The reversion of Alaska to Russian control?

There is nothing normal about an American president’s subservience to Russia’s interests and worldview. It is not the result of some bold, secret, Nixonian foreign policy stratagem — the most laughable possible explanation. Does it come from Trump’s bad case of authoritarianism envy? A fundamental sympathy with European right-wing, anti-democratic populism? An exposure to pressure from his checkered financial history? There are no benign explanations, and the worst ones seem the most plausible.

For a few years, I've been following a blog by this very cool lady: http://www.eyesforlies.com/blog/

She's a human lie detector and has been scientifically verified as such. She normally focuses on true crime, and is fiercely against sharing her political beliefs, or sharing her thoughts on lying politicians.

However, since Trump took office, she has been speaking out on him A LOT, which says something. She's great at pointing out the inconsistencies in Trump's statements. Just something you all may like to start following!

Inmates who volunteer are rewarded with 30 days less jail time under an order signed in May by Judge Sam Benningfield. The judge told ABC 15 he hopes the procedures, provided for free by the Tennessee Department of Health, will reduce the number of repeat offenders who can’t afford child support.

So far, 32 women have gotten the implant, and 38 men are waiting to have their vasectomies."

Well, it's about time, right? There are way too many people in this world and if we selectively choose who can breed then I think this world might actually be saved! End up in jail, then give up certain rights and felons can't vote so why should they breed?

      Delete
    2. Really? You're fine withe Duggars breeding like rats but if an 18 year old gets thrown in some (private for profit) prison for some minor whatever you're fine with sterilizing them for life?

Never mind that a YUUUUGE percentage of the prison population is minority, specifically black. So you'd basically be practicing genocide.

I don't suppose you'd have a problem with eugenics or genocide.

BTW some felons get their right to vote back after rehabilitation and release. Can't do that once you're snipped.

What next? Sterilize all of the poor, the minorities, the Democrats. How about you can't get your unemployment benefits without being sterilized? Bankruptcy results in automatic sterilization. Dui? Sterilized.

But not the women. Need them for breeding stock. Gee, you could go opposite and require any woman violating the law to carry some infertile couple's baby to term, and indentured surrogate.

If you're going to practice eugenics, why not administer intelligence tests and sterilize anyone that scores below 120? In fact, you can weed them out in school. Start with anyone that drops out before high school graduation, then those that fail to graduate. That will certainly improve the human race. Why not? Because that will eliminate most of the Republican base.

The documents show that the lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, successfully represented the FSB’s interests in a legal wrangle over ownership of an upscale property in northwest Moscow between 2005 and 2013.

The FSB, successor to the Soviet-era KGB service, was headed by Vladimir Putin before he became Russian president."

    http://www.businessinsider.com/senators-seek-investigation-of-scaramucci-russia-meeting-2017-1

"Sen. Ben Cardin of Maryland on Thursday told President-elect Donald Trump's nominee for Treasury secretary that he would push for an investigation into Trump adviser Anthony Scaramucci for possible violations of sanctions against Russia."

"Cardin asked about Scaramucci after Mnuchin said he was "100%" committed to upholding the sanctions against Russia.

"Senator Warner and I are going to be sending you a letter if you are confirmed to investigate the allegations that Mr. Scaramucci, who was recently named as the White House director of engagement and intergovernmental affairs and senior adviser to the president, may very well have violated the sanctions against Russia in his dealings," Cardin said."

"Cardin seemed to be referring to a discussion, reported by Bloomberg News, between Scaramucci and the head of a Russian sovereign wealth fund that the US government sanctioned in 2015.

According to Bloomberg, Scaramucci and the fund's director, Kirill Dmitriev, spoke about possible co-investment opportunities. Bloomberg reported that the meeting took place at the World Economic Forum conference in Davos, Switzerland, on Tuesday and was confirmed by Scaramucci.

During an interview with Bloomberg TV — in which the sanctions against Dmitriev's fund were not directly brought up — Scaramucci said he had known Dmitriev for a while and was unsure whether he could continue to contact the Russian investor once he got into the administration."

"Anthony Scaramucci, aide to President-elect Donald Trump and founder of SkyBridge Capital, discussed possible joint investments in a meeting in Davos with the head of a Russian sovereign wealth fund that the U.S. sanctioned in 2015, the fund’s press service said.

The meeting with Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, a $10 billion state-run investment vehicle, is the first public contact between the incoming administration and Kremlin-backed business. Trump has suggested he could ease the sanctions on Russia if the Kremlin cooperates on his policy priorities. Scaramucci confirmed the Davos meeting. "

    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-01-17/in-davos-trump-aide-talks-deals-with-sanctioned-kremlin-fund

"Sanctions". I think all of this, including Trump's election, is all about the sanctions. Getting the sanctions lifted and undermining the power and influence of the United States so that in the future, if the U.S. tries to pressure Russia by organizing other nations to join the in any sort of sanctions, the U.S. will fail.

Putin wants the U.S. destroyed. Trump is doing just that. Not just in reputation but literally. He's destroying our air, water, wildlife, economy, retirement, healthcare, education, human rights, voting/registration/elections. You name it, he's dismantling it. 250 years building our democracy and he will have torn it all down in one term or less.
