A Minneapolis bar owner who donated money to the former grand wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, is going to have to find new employees.
Workers at Club Jager say they’re all quitting after Thursday night’s shift. About half the staff quit earlier this week when news broke that DeRoma donated $500 to David Duke’s senate campaign.
De Roma told WCCO his donation was “basically free speech.” He also called the controversy blown up beyond what it should be.
Yeah why can't a guy donate money to a former KKK leader's senate campaign without losing the respect of all of his employees?
It's almost like they do not realize this is Donald Trump's America now.
Does Duke look at himself in the mirror? His picture at the top of the page doesn't look like the present appearance he's showing. Too much meth, Dave??

Whenever these reprobates want to be offensive, they yell "free speech," without really understanding what it means, legally.
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't have to get into Constitutional questions on this issue. His employees are free to work for him, or quit, unless they have a contract. They might quit because he's loud and abusive, never showers, is rude to customers, or even wears a Hillary t-shirt. Whatever -- they can come or go as they please, just as he can hire and fire as he pleases.
The odds are that if one of them showed up in a Hillary t-shirt, he might be shown the door.

But his employees are free men with free will. They are not slaves or indentured servants. They have chosen not to work for a racist toad. I suspect their pay and working conditions weren't exactly stellar either. They probably knew their boss was a racist prick. This was simply the last straw.
I hope someone clues in the new applicants. I'm sure his bar will thrive with nothing but Nazi staff. Soon the clientele will be nothing but Nazis too.
Maybe that is exactly what the owner wants, like-minded employees and clientele. Who knows what lurks in the hearts of the hateful...supremacy requires hatred of 'others.'
