New York Times is reporting that Donald Trump berated and humiliated Jeff Sessions over Robert Mueller's appointment as Special Counsel.

Courtesy of the New York Times:

Shortly after learning in May that a special counsel had been appointed to investigate links between his campaign associates and Russia, President Trump berated Attorney General Jeff Sessions in an Oval Office meeting and said he should resign, according to current and former administration officials and others briefed on the matter.

The president attributed the appointment of the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, to Mr. Sessions’s decision to recuse himself from the Justice Department’s Russia investigation — a move Mr. Trump believes was the moment his administration effectively lost control over the inquiry. Accusing Mr. Sessions of “disloyalty,” Mr. Trump unleashed a string of insults on his attorney general.

Ashen and emotional, Mr. Sessions told the president he would quit and sent a resignation letter to the White House, according to four people who were told details of the meeting. Mr. Sessions would later tell associates that the demeaning way the president addressed him was the most humiliating experience in decades of public life.

The Oval Office meeting, details of which have not previously been reported, shows the intensity of Mr. Trump’s emotions as the Russia investigation gained steam and how he appeared to immediately see Mr. Mueller’s appointment as a looming problem for his administration. It also illustrates the depth of antipathy Mr. Trump has had for Mr. Sessions — one of his earliest campaign supporters — and how the president interprets “disloyalty” within his circle of advisers.

I have no sympathy for Sessions, he should have known what type of man Donald Trump was way back before he even announced his candidacy.

Trump has been mistreating people for his entire life, and is infamous for holding a grudge.

At this point Sessions, as well a number of Cabinet members and White House staff, are in an abusive relationship with a man who will humiliate and verbally assault them in one breath and then stroke their ego and tell them he loves them in the next.

This is how pimps control their whores, and this is the same technique that Trump is utilizing to control his weak willed subordinates as well.

But the clearly the one person that he fears above all others right now is Robert Mueller.

And that suggests that he knows the investigation will be his downfall.

Ann Coulter on Trump: I Bet on a Loser

While claiming she wasn’t conned, the conservative firebrand likened the president to a horse who ‘doesn’t win, place, or show.’

Hell hath no fury like Ann Coulter scorned.

The author of last year’s worshipful paean to our 45th president, In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome, fielded nine pointed questions from The Daily Beast on Thursday.

It was a day on which she expended much of her wrath on denouncing her former hero (and confessing that she didn’t really like him that much to begin with) in a disgusted response to the news that Donald Trump is colluding with his Wednesday night dinner guests, Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, to enact a law allowing 800,000 so-called “Dreamers” to stay in the United States while delaying construction on that supposed wall of his along the Mexican border.

“This guy is like a couch—he picks up whatever the person sitting on him is wearing,” Coulter slammed Trump contemptuously during one of her multiple right-wing radio appearances (this one with WBAL’s Derek Hunter) that amounted to a primal scream against the president’s support for DACA (i.e. “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals”).

“Whatever his audience wants him to say, he says—which is why some of us have been concerned.”

Coulter was even harsher on social media, where her fusillade of insults for her erstwhile fearless leader amounted to a Category 5 Twitter storm.

“At this point, who DOESN’T want Trump impeached?” she demanded in response to a presidential tweet that the so-called Dreamers “have been in our country for many years through no fault of their own—brought in by parents at young age.”

Jeff Sessions just became the saddest little elf

...People keep asking why Jeff Sessions has been willing to take so much public and private abuse from Donald Trump. The answer is simple: Sessions is a huge racist, and now that he’s become Attorney General, he has the opportunity to carry out his racism on a massive level. He’s been willing to endure any humiliation necessary in order to remain on the job, so he can keep doing racist things. But now Trump isn’t even letting Sessions carry out his racism anymore.

Superman saved undocumented workers from a racist — and conservative media is mad about it

They argue that the Man of Steel has become a tool of propaganda.*

The latest issue of Action Comics No. 987 contains a scalding scene: A white supremacist, fed up with a company that just laid him off, decides to load up his machine gun and kill the undocumented workers he believes took his job. Luckily, in the nick of time, Superman arrives to shield the would-be victims from a storm of bullets:

Twitter Lets You Target Ads to Millions of People Who Use the N-Word

Twitter’s advertising platform tells prospective marketers it has 26.3 million users interested in the derogatory term “wetback,” 18.6 million accounts that are likely to engage with the word “Nazi,” and 14.5 million users who might be drawn to “n**ger.”

As part of its investigation, The Daily Beast on Friday was able to launch campaigns on Twitter Ads that targeted users the platform said were likely to respond to these disparaging terms. The platform did not ask to approve these ad campaigns before they went live. The Daily Beast immediately terminated these campaigns after confirming each campaign had successfully launched.

Twitter allows customers to target many millions of users likely to engage with hateful terms like the ones we tested—far more than on Facebook. ProPublica reported on Thursday that Facebook customers taking out advertisements on that platform could reach nearly 2,300 people interested in terms such as “Jew hater” and “How to burn jews.”

  11. If he had nothing to hide, he wouldn't be working so hard to discredit and derail the investigation. In my life's experience, truth does not fear questioning or probing.

  12. Donald can't accept that the reason Mueller was appointed was because HE FIRED COMEY!

Well, it is because of his ties to Russia but that's besides the point. Sessions recusal has nothing to do with anything.

But I have no sympathy for the racist swine. He got in bed with Trump with eyes wide open. He should have known what he would be in for. But like all those before and after him, he was ambitious and greedy and thought for some bizarre reason he would be exempt from the wrath of Trump.

    Too bad.

He deserves it for other reason so no sympathy here.
