Now Donald Trump is attempting to shift the blame for his decision to repeal DACA onto whoever is handy.

Actually most of Congress, all of the Democrats, and the majority of the Republicans, do not want anything to do with repealing DACA.

After all it was not THEIR campaign promise that Trump is attempting to keep.

But now that it is time deliver on that promise, Trump is choking like a little league player terrified of baseballs.

Courtesy of the New York Times:

For months, an anxious and uncertain President Trump was caught between opposing camps in the West Wing prodding him to either scrap or salvage an Obama-era program allowing undocumented immigrants brought to the country as minors to remain in the United States.

Last week, with a key court deadline looming for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, Mr. Trump, exasperated, asked his aides for “a way out” of a dilemma he created by promising to roll back the program as a presidential candidate, according to two people familiar with the exchange.

Mr. Trump’s chief of staff, John F. Kelly, who had wrestled with crafting a compromise in his previous job as the president’s homeland security secretary, began consulting with Republican lawmakers and staff members for a quick fix, according to three officials familiar with the situation. He finally arrived at an inelegant solution to an intractable problem: Delaying a decision on the final fate of about 800,000 “Dreamers” covered by President Barack Obama’s executive action for six months, and putting it on Congress to come up with a legislative solution to the problem.

In fact Trump is such a complete panty waist that he does not even have the balls to deliver this message in person.

Courtesy of HuffPo:

Attorney General Jeff Sessions will hold a news briefing Tuesday morning at the Department of Justice to discuss the fate of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, an Obama-era executive action that protects young undocumented immigrants from deportation. Trump is reportedly planning to shutter the program after a six-month delay.

President Donald Trump, an obsessive television viewer and master of the medium, is not scheduled to face the cameras. In fact, the only public event on the president’s schedule on Tuesday is a photo op before a meeting with GOP congressional leaders on tax reform.

Jesus he's a pussy!

When will the Republican voters learn that these idiots who talk tough and swagger are invariable the same candy asses who will run and hide under their beds when the going gets tough?

I was distracted during Session's formal statement but I heard him touting Trump that he had plans (as if concrete specific plan) to MAGA. Trump comes across bullying, publicly humiliating others to come up with a plan or solution. He only came through with unconstitutional travel ban and departing more illegals as done by previous administrations.

Trump's threats and non reality based grandiose promises that businesses and manufacturing will return are more self aggrandizing statements and deceptions about mega tax breaks and very low wages overseas. He blusters and barks.

‘They’ve done nothing wrong’: Obama shames Trump for attack on Dreamers

...Most importantly, however, Obama said that Trump’s actions on DACA were simply cruel and had no justification.

“To target these young people is wrong – because they have done nothing wrong,” he wrote. “It is self-defeating – because they want to start new businesses, staff our labs, serve in our military, and otherwise contribute to the country we love. And it is cruel. What if our kid’s science teacher, or our friendly neighbor turns out to be a Dreamer? Where are we supposed to send her? To a country she doesn’t know or remember, with a language she may not even speak?”

The Legal Flaw With Ditching DACA

Trump’s Homeland Security Department is ignoring a cardinal principle of administrative law.

Trump’s decision to end the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program has been criticized, by Democrats and Republicans alike, as “cruel,” “inhumane” and “unconscionable.” It is also quite likely illegal. The decision is being implemented in a way that appears to violate the Administrative Procedure Act, and the courts might well block the Trump administration’s action on those grounds.

The Administrative Procedure Act, sometimes called the “Magna Carta of administrative law,” is a 1946 statute that governs hundreds of federal agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security. It requires that agencies go through a process known as “notice and comment” before issuing, amending or repealing “substantive rules.” As part of that process, the agency must publish proposed actions in the Federal Register and then give the public at least 30 days to submit feedback. When it finalizes its proposal, the agency must respond to issues raised by the public comments and must explain why it settled upon the course of action that it chose. The explanation must show why the agency’s action is reasonable and not “arbitrary” or “capricious.”

In hundreds of cases, the federal courts have had to decide what counts as a “substantive rule” to which the notice-and-comment requirement applies. In a nutshell, a substantive rule is an agency action that alters the rights or interests of parties, changes the background regulatory regime and has a present and binding effect. Sometimes, agencies will take actions that do all of these things but are labeled as “policy statements” rather than “substantive rules.” In those cases, federal courts will block the agency from carrying through on its policy until it goes through the notice-and-comment process.

That’s what’s likely to happen here.

The Trump Administration Now Has Tons Of DACA Data And Is Poised To Weaponize It

DREAMers trusted the government with their information. Immigration agents could now use it to expedite their deportations.

In deportation proceedings, the government must prove that the person they want deported is in the U.S. illegally. That can sometimes be tough. DACA recipients – nearly 800,000 of them – gave the Department of Homeland Security information proving they are undocumented so they could get relief from the threat of deportation. They also gave the government information about where they live, work, and go to school. As soon as Donald Trump was elected, immigrants’ rights activists started asking what his administration would do with that information.

In a memo, the Department of Homeland Security answered this question. And its statement – full of wordy legalese – made clear that Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers will be able to use DACA recipients’ personal information to deport them.

    1. I remember when everything was always Bill Clinton's fault.

I suppose now it will be Barack Obama's fault.

After all, if he hadn't made DACA in the first place, they wouldn't have to rescind it, right? Same for the ACA.
