Susan Collins pulls a John McCain and kills the most recent Republican attempt to repeal Obamacare.

I am no Nostradamus or anything but I knew that neither Collins nor Murkowski were going to sign on to this bill.

In fact this came out earlier today concerning Lisa's vote.
This is where I would typically say that this thing is now dead for good, and we can all relax.

But that it what they used to say about Jason Voorhees, and he kept coming back over and over again.

First off, I did not know that Jason had a last name?
Secondly, I am very happy , if, the repeal died!!
Fuck you McConnell, Graham, Cassidy and all the assholes that wasted precious time and money to murder innocent people!

    Good for Mrs. Collins!

Too bad Alaskans can't say the same thing for Lisa Murkowski, who has never been someone you could trust.

I hope Republicans in Alaska do NOT send her back to Congress when she is next up for reelection. All need to remember that she damn near lost in the last election!

Murkowski is NOT to be trusted! Plus, she followed Trump right into the white house - sitting next to him etc. when he was doing interviews. Riding on his coat strings! Yuk!!!

Bull chit. If Lisa votes no on the pile of harm, she should have your vote for life. Or until a real Democrat can realistically be elected.

Coming from a very, very blue state, I read about Lisa Murkowski's record, and I can see several areas in which I disagree, but, all in all, she's not in the same league as at least 30 of the other GOP Senators. Plus, she has seniority and she's got a reputation for being tough in the boys' club. You could get a Democrat, but, until then, she's not terrible.

Not until the final vote is tallied will I believe anything they say.

Wouldn't surprise me if Rand flipped in the end. I'd be more relieved if 5-6 came out with nos so there's a margin of error.

We can never relax with that group, I will not relax until they vote!!! I wouldn’t be surprised if they vote in the middle of the night and not tell those voting against it.

Never let your guard down with those sleazy, cheating republicans and if I heard one more moronic republican say Obamacare doesn’t work I will scream (what I really would like to do is punch them in the face, they are turning me into a violent person). Of course it doesn’t work, it doesn’t exist!!!

I saw Collins on Face the Nation yesterday, the only sane republican on the show.

Seems ironic to bribe Collins & Murkowski with Obamacare when they are trying to repeal it.
But irony is lost on the GOP, along with hypocrisy.

So is Graham unsavory and Cassidy unseemly or other way 'round? So confusing!

The nice thing is, if we can just keep it buried for another 4 days, it will need 60 votes instead of 51. I don't think even they think they can get that many.

  10. Well, since she was ahead of McCain on the no vote last time, wouldn't he be pulling a Collins?

  13. They've got four public nos and who knows how many private ones.

It will probably never come up for a vote because McConnell can't afford another public loss.

Alaskans, your daily reminder to contact Lisa Murkowski until she declares herself a no. I did- through her web site and I'm about as far from Alaska as you can get and be in the US. But it means more from you. Only takes a minute

ANNNDDD... Mike Pence says if she votes no we could end up with healthcare like Canada's- longer life expectancy at less cost. OHHH NOOOOOS!
