Yeah, they want to hurry up and get it done before Traitor Trump is removed from office. I suppose the circumstances will indicate whether there is any standing in court for removing all of his appointments and rescinding all of the executive orders etc. that he's signed. After all, if his election is based on Russian collusion and is deemed illegitimate, then it's possible actions taken during his presidency could also be voided. But not if he's stacked the courts with all of his fascist bigots. Whatever takes out Trump might take out Pence before he can nominate and confirm his own VP. That will leave Ryan and it's possible he's got an orange jumpsuit in the game too. 2018 may bring Democratic majorities in both houses (but I wouldn't hold my breath given what the DNC has failed to do.)
It's all of these court appointments being pushed through while we are distracted with shiny things that are the real danger. They will impact this country for decades.
Trump's Transgender ban was just overturned. Imagine all of the courts with a majority of his appointments. That would never happen. The travel ban would still be in effect. And on and on.
