Word is that Trump's Chief of Staff has already resigned. Possible announcement in today's news dump.

A White House reporter also tweeted this.
If this is true this would really signal that the White House is essentially falling apart at the seems.

Without Kelly there will be nothing to keep Trump reined in, and there is no telling what he will do once there is nobody controlling him at all.

P.S. By the way late yesterday we learned that Kelly's phone was hacked

Good ... and good riddance. Kelly knew what he was getting in for, I.e.,, working for the most incompetent, unqualified, unfit unintelligent person to ever occupy the White House and he has singularly ruined his reputation.

It is possible that Kelly is a human being who like most people find things too extreme to believe until they are dealing directly with an irrational person.

It is unheard of that a POTUS was this impulsive, unpredictable, publicly vindictive, ignore reasonable and prudent advice.

Is Secretary of State Rex Tillerson the next one to resign once he gets his pride and testicles back?

    1. He'll be fired because of that "fucking moron" quote. All of the late night comics are having a field day and I expect it to be on SNL this Saturday. It won't sit well with Trump. Tillerson's "resignation" will just be window dressing. He'll be fired. He'll probably be happy to leave too.

Hmmmmm? oddly certain republicans are restless and uncomfortable carrying on about Obama sympathizers and bs from alex jones infowars. Paul gosar the az dentist turned constitional clown for the klub claims it is all a conspiracy of the occupy group and Obama sympathizers. What a ding dong. Too much sun and hate. I guess getting caught in a lie lie lie lie lie and telling the truth is beyond p gozar. His face and teeth are even mean looking.

  11. Guess this is possibly "the calm before the storm". His strange request to WH press for photo op after they already shut down for the day is so predictable of this assclown. His need to show off the great military brass in the room is his FU to Kelly. IMO

This POS is doing all the things Putin orders him to do. Destabilize the west, weaken NATO, trash the reputation, integrity and strength of the US - and I believe without any doubt that this bastard is crooked enough to sell out our country to prevent the Putin wrath on him personally.

This country is going down in flames and not one fucking republican OR democrat has the balls to stop him.

Not one day goes by without a sense of dread for me. This crisis has impacted my life and as hard as I try to disconnect, it's simply impossible. Our country will never recover if this continues. Trump is the antichrist and his entire family are fucking evil imbeciles.

Everything is correct that you say except this. This country will not go down in flames. Treason by the drumpf foundation and attempted crimes by enablers to rig, harm usa citizens, takeover this country are weak. The calm before the storm is "The End" and of his resignation. Relieving this country of another day of his lies, crimes, treason and espionage harming our citizens directly. Today will be a great day for a useful idiot f*cking moron of russia to resign in celebration of the first day of the communist party that began years ago........

The three Donald Trump administration officials most likely to resign today

It’s Friday, which in the Donald Trump era usually means that either a major bombshell about his Russia scandal will hit the newswires, or that a key member of the Trump administration will resign in controversy. It’s unclear why the bombshells keep arriving on Friday nights, but the Friday resignations are a clear attempt at burying the bad news in the Friday afternoon news dump. Today in particular, there are three top Trump people on resignation watch.

Trump ‘furious’ that Tillerson overshadowed his Vegas trip — so he may replace him with CIA director: report

President Donald Trump is reportedly still fuming about his secretary of state calling him a “moron.”

Axios reports that Trump is considering forcing Secretary of State Rex Tillerson out of his administration and replacing him with current CIA Director Mike Pompeo, whom Trump is reportedly more comfortable dealing with on a regular basis.

Axios’ sources say that Trump is furious that Tillerson didn’t explicitly deny that he called Trump a “moron” this week, and that any hope of getting the two men to come to some kind of understanding has been completely dashed.

“Insiders say Trump’s relationship with Tillerson is broken beyond repair,” Axios reports. “We’re told Trump was furious that Tillerson didn’t try to blunt the story about him calling the president a ‘moron,’ by just going out and denying it.”

Trump was also reportedly angry that Tillerson’s “moron” comment overshadowed footage of him trying to comfort shooting victims in Las Vegas.

“After what Trump considered a strong trip to Vegas, he seethed when he got back and saw Tillerson’s gaffe dominating cable-news coverage,” Axios writes. “Everywhere he flipped, there was Tillerson’s face instead of his.”

Exclusive: Senate ‘Russia Probe’ Is Not Investigating Russia

The Judiciary Committee may be issuing press releases about its ‘Russia Probe.’ But staffers say there’s no full-blown investigation, just routine oversight of the FBI.

...But the Judiciary Committee is not, in fact, running a Trump-Russia investigation—at least, not a full-fledged one.

A staffer for Grassley, speaking on the condition of anonymity to give his candid assessment, told The Daily Beast that the committee is instead engaged in routine oversight of the Justice Department—though under extraordinary circumstances.

Grassley’s role in the congressional probes into Russian meddling in the 2016 election has perplexed and concerned members of his own party, Republican staffers on the committee told The Daily Beast.

The probe appears to have already missed one of its own deadlines. And rather than publicly needling potential Russian meddlers, Grassley has primarily used his bully pulpit to rip an opposition-research firm and the FBI.

  21. Kelly's phone also may have been compromised for months.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/john-kelly-phone-compromised_us_59d6abe2e4b072637c42f521?section=us_politics

"White House chief of staff John Kelly’s personal phone was likely compromised, possibly for months, according to several government officials Politico interviewed.

The outlet first reported Thursday that Kelly brought his phone to White House tech support this summer after it stopped working properly. Staff reportedly discovered a suspected breach on the phone that has since raised concerns hackers may have been able to access the data on Kelly’s phone for months. It’s unclear if anything was accessed on the device."
