Both George Bush's admit in new book that neither of them voted for Donald Trump, and one of them even voted for Hillary.

Courtesy of Newsweek:

Both former President Bushes had choice words for current President Donald Trump in a new book scheduled to be published later this month, with the elder Bush reportedly calling the billionaire commander-in-chief a “blowhard” and flatly stating he does not “like” him.

Presidents George Bush and George W. Bush, the 41st and 43rd top executives respectively, spoke to author Mark K. Updegrove for the book “The Last Republicans.” It detailed the relationship between the father-and-son presidents and how they were fretful of what Trump had done to the Republican Party.

Furthermore, both ex-presidents admitted they did not vote for Trump. The elder Bush pulled the lever for Democrat Hillary Clinton while the younger told Updegrove he voted for “none of the above.”

“I don’t like him,” George Bush said in May 2016 according to a The New York Times on Saturday. “I don’t know much about him, but I know he’s a blowhard. And I’m not too excited about him being a leader.

I can't say I am terribly surprised by this as Trump was a complete dick to Jeb during the primaries, and that must have certainly rubbed members of his family the wrong way.

Nothing will ever make up for George W. taking this country into unnecessary wars that cost the lives of hundreds of thousand, if not millions of innocent people.

However it would have at least demonstrated some character if he would have had the guts to vote for Hillary Clinton outright, instead of allowing Trump to get even one extra vote.

I sincerely hope he includes Donald Trump in charges. I would wager that Trump IS under investigation or will be soon.

Donald Trump’s tweet plunges Saudi Arabian government into regime-changing chaos

...Harvard Law Professor Laurene Tribe characterized Prince Alwaleed’s arrest in this manner: “This is the prince who stiffed Jared on his recent secret mission to Saudi, where of course Putin & Trump are in cahoots.” The company Trump referenced in his tweet, Aramco, is the official government-owned oil company of Saudi Arabia.

...So the timeline now looks like this: Jared Kushner secretly traveled to Saudi Arabia and asked Prince Alwaleed to bail out his sinking personal fortunes. Alwaleed refused. One week later Donald Trump publicly invited the Saudi Arabian government to launch its IPO on the New York Stock Exchange. Hours later, the Saudi Arabian government arrested the Prince who had just refused to bail out Kushner. And because everything about Trump relates to Russia, Saudi Arabia just announced a major new oil deal with Russia.

    http://www.palmerreport.com/politics/trump-saudi-tweet/5904/

Shortly after Jared Kushner departs Saudi Arabia, major arrests are now underway

...So now we have Jared Kushner taking a secret trip to Saudi Arabia with a secret mission, then Donald Trump suddenly and publicly courts Saudi Arabian business, then a few hours later Saudi Arabia and Russia strike a deal, and a few hours after that, members of the Saudi Arabian royal family no appear to be trying to oust each other in a power struggle that could lead to regime change. What the heck is going on?

    http://www.palmerreport.com/politics/saudi-arabia-kushner-arrests/5903/

Last night the crown prince of Saudi Arabia had eleven of his fellow princes arrested on what appear to be bogus corruption charges, including the wealthy and powerful Prince Alwaleed, in an aggressive power grab. Last weekend, Jared Kushner took a secret trip to Saudi Arabia. Just hours before the arrests began, Donald Trump posted a tweet about the IPO of a Saudi Arabian government oil company. We don’t know what role Trump and Kushner played in the palace coup – but from their actions it’s clear they had some role in it.

One chart from the ABC News/Washington Post Poll shows that Donald Trump is the most unpopular first-term president in the seven-decade history of presidential polling.

    1. My theory is that Brazille is being blackmailed. It makes absolutely no sense for her to come out with these accusations at this particular point other than to change the narrative from Russian election interference.

For someone so outraged about the way things were run, wasn't she the one who "leaked" multiple questions to Clinton in advance? Didn't they discover this repeated occurance via hacked emails. Someone discovered something else damaging about her personally in those emails I suspect.

He cares about people more than Trump. Really. Dubya was never intentional cruel. Trump goes out of his way to be cruel and heartless; not only second nature to him but a natural part of his character.

Donald Trump, Paul Ryan and the Con Man Caucus

It really is amazing to watch this chaotic horror show play out at the highest levels of a great nation’s government. But I guess this is what you have to expect when you hand over the reins of power to a con man, whose whole career has been based on convincing naïve marks that he’s a brilliant deal maker, but turns out to have no idea how to actually govern.
Oh, wait — did you think I was talking about Donald Trump? I’m talking about Paul Ryan, the speaker of the House, an obvious phony who nonetheless convinced the rubes — that is, much of the news media and the political establishment — that he was a brilliant fiscal expert. What we’re witnessing now is the end of the charade, the political equivalent of what happened when graduates of Trump University tried to get some value in return for their money.

On Thursday, House Republicans unveiled a tax “reform” bill with the same good order and careful deliberation with which they unveiled their various attempts to repeal Obamacare. That is, after having had years to prepare, the G.O.P. waited until the last minute to throw something together, without any hearings or serious analysis.
