Connecticut Representative rips new GOP tax plan to pieces.

I think this bill may die just like those Republican attempts to repeal and replace Obamacare.

Not only are their policies terrible for the American people but they are so ashamed of them they will not even allow any hearings or expert testimony.

This is some shady shit my friends.

They will pass it, unfortunately. All they care about is their rich donors and Wall Street, and they want it. Now. Roy Moore will likely arrive to help them put it over the top.

    1. Not to mention that their rich donors and corporations have threatened them that if they don’t pass it, the money is going to dry up and they’ll be on their own come their next election.

Yep, Roy Moore’s seat is key. And Tom Perez and the DNC are going to sit on their hands because, well, it’s a Republican seat and Doug Jones doesn’t have much of a chance so why bother to try?

When the likes of "Miss Lindsey" Graham say that financial contributions will stop if Republicans don't give tax breaks to the rich, you have a bought and paid for Congress.

I can't believe he/she actually came out and made that statement public! The exact thing we ALWAYS knew about Republicans.

They are on the take in the U.S. Congress and in their state Legislatures throughout the country.

  4. This looks like the end of a movie -- say for workers' rights -- Sally Field's speech, or pink-dressed Reese Witherspoon's in Washington -- unfortunately, the movies' outcome are fiction, wishful thinking for a few minutes. We have to live with this "entertainment" in real life, the outcome of which will affect a whole country -- whether you voted for those greedy GOP monsters or not.

Why anyone votes for a Republican is beyond me! They truly are a deplorable bunch of folks that are not looking out for the American people.

Pay attention for whom you cast your vote, Americans. Dig into what they say and how they actually vote in Congress...because the two don't typically match!

    Credits and exemptions:
"if Trump did express an opinion on the church and Patton did contact the IRS about it, as her message suggests, that would be a highly inappropriate level of interference with the IRS by the administration, one expert said.

“For the White House or any administration official to try and influence who the IRS targets, for whatever reason, is wrong and could result in a violation of the law,”

I wish that Rep. Larson's speech were featured on the front page of every newspaper in the country and on every news program of the day.

I have never felt so much disgust for a political party as I do right now.

Minnesota Rep. Tony Cornish is being accused of sending unwanted sexual texts to another Rep and blocking a lobbyist from leaving his office and insisting she take care of his "raging boner".

Alabama State Representative Ed Henry wants to bring charges against the women accusing Roy Moore of sexual harassment for not reporting the incidents sooner.

Alabama’s state auditor Jim Zeigler compared Roy Moore and the 14-year-old he is accused of molesting to Mary and Joseph from the Bible.

Alabama Geneva County GOP chairman Riley Seibenhener said that the Roy Moore case could have been worse because "he didn’t really force himself” on the 14-year-old girl.

Sean Hannity claims that the relationship between Moore and the 14-year-old teenager seems to be "consensual."

Alabama Marion County GOP chair David Hall thinks there's nothing wrong with a 30-year-old man asking a 16-year-old girl on a date.

Covington County GOP Chairman William Blocker said he'd still vote for Moore, even if all the allegations are true because at least he's not a Democrat.

Moore's brother, Larry Moore, says that his brother is being persecuted just like Jesus Christ.

    1. Blocker is your poster boy. That is the thinking of them all. Yeah, Moore may be a pervert but at least he’s not a Democrat. Same sort of thinking that got Trump elected.

Someone needs to remind Hannity, that children, by LAW, cannot give consent.

Also to the bible thumpers, of course people were married when they were 12 years old, they only lived to be about 20 in those days. Really mind boggling they would use the Bible to defend a crime.

It's a good time to be the rich here in America. I'd say Putin is tutoring Trump and GOP how to stay on top regardless.

Republicans spent the last eight years obstructing Obama. Now they want to come up with tax reform in a few weeks, obviously after not doing any work for 8 years they are a bit out of shape and are just throwing together what ever their little pea brains can come up with.

This isn’t tax reform, it is reward the donors reform !!!

All you have to know is that the tax bill will raise taxes on people giving homes to orphans so that the GOP can cut taxes for rich cadavers.
