Conservative boycott of GQ Magazine to happen in 3..2..1.

Courtesy of GQ:

Much has changed in the four years since Colin Kaepernick was last on the cover of GQ. Back then he was a rippling superhero of a quarterback on the rise. But a simple act—kneeling during the national anthem—changed everything. It cost him his job. It also transformed Colin Kaepernick into a lightning rod and a powerful symbol of activism and resistance.

Though Colin Kaepernick continues his silent protest, he agreed to collaborate with GQ on a special project for our December Men of the Year issue in an effort to, as the piece explains, "reclaim the narrative of his protest." He helped us assemble a ten-person team of his closest confidants—including rapper J.Cole, director Ava DuVernay, activist Harry Belafonte, and Women’s March co-organizer Linda Sarsour—to speak on the subjects of activism, protest, and equality, and to offer some rare insights into Colin Kaepernick himself.

I am guessing that Donald Trump will not be gracing the cover of GQ any time soon.

  1. Speaking of boycotts -- I don't have a link, but, my daughter told me the makers of the Kuerig coffee makers announced they will not advertise on TV shows that support Roy Moore.

Moore supporters responded by urging other Moore supporters to buy a Kuerig then smash it.

    Hmmmmmm.

Maybe they don't understand the idea of a boycott.

Or maybe they just too damn stupid to be left alone . . .

My personal opinion, Keurig coffee tastes burnt. But how funny! So what if you trashed the coffee maker right after you bought it, Keurig's still got yer money. Stupid racists. Love you, O.R.!!

Looks like they are trying to throw a long 'hail mary' to save the magazine. Fail.

Kudos to GQ and Kaepernick. I'm glad they used a photo of him with a full afro cause that will really piss off the racists who don't want him protesting because he's black.

Used up magazine for 80's metrosexuals, giving an absolutely meaningless award to a used up dumb half-black quarterback attempting to revive a career by hijacking a social cause, who was raised by a well to do white family after his black father dropped out of the picture.

And he didn't even vote. But.... "Citizen of the year."

Hahahahaaaa lolololol. It is actually perfect, anyone I ever knew that had GQ magazine around on their coffee tables were frankly total morons of 'men' that spent a much time grooming as women do. In other words, weirdos.

The whole thing is one huge laugh, GQ and Kaepernick are frankly perfect for each other.

Told you all last year, Kaepernick would never play again, at least not this season. And he is no modern day Muhammad Ali, who had the brains to back up his mouth. Not by a long shot

I LOVE COLIN! His hair is BOSS, and he has a damn good mind, to go with all that hotness.
Frankly, I'd like to see him become a philosophy professor, etc., instead of risking his magnificent brain to CTE. We need more strong male role models like him.

Bahahahaaaaa! A philosophy professor lolololol! He can philosophize all his students how great of a dictator Fidel Castro was.

It is going to have to be a honorary doctorate, cause he sure as hell isn't getting it on brains.

If you love him so much, you should marry Colin and his new found blackness and fro 7:35. He'll probably be available soon, as his sjw girlfriend is no doubt going to trade him for a pro football player that is still bringing home the bacon, he is just to naive to realize it. Even though she ruined what he had left of a career.

7:25. What a bitter sounding know it all you appear to be. Guy gets persecuted by the holier than thou right and holds his ground because he's trying to bring light to injustices. What have you done?

7:25/ 7:58 is soooo mads that a black man is smarter, sexier, and MUCH more wanted than his old saggy pasty white ass evah was. You kinda sound like a palin, hun.
Get your mommy to wash your crusty sheets so you can attend another KKKlan rally without the embarrassment of all those jizz and piss stains on them.

Here's a little lesson on grammar/spelling: It's 'too naive', not, "to naive" as your dumbass shat out. Bet Colin would've know that!!
Now go bellamy salute your Hitler poster collection.

Hey 725, why don't you qualify that comment about Colin not being a modern-day Ali.
      What did you mean, exactly?

    9. Anonymous10:37 AM

lololol at you morons 10:22, 10:23. Oh and sorry grammar police at 10:22, just two, 2, to, too sorry that jackass Colin will likely never play again in the nfl because he is a mediocre quarterback and a total jackass loser.

Oh and BTW 10:22... it is "Colin would've known that!!"... not... "Colin would've know that!!"

      lololol.

Oooooh but to you social justice warriors Colin is so sexy and he is the best citizen ever!

Even though he neglects to vote! How stupid can one be?

10:24, Ali had brains, a sharp tongue, and a quick wit. He was everything Kaepernick is not. This modern day comparison is a joke being pushed by liberal media.

The funny thing is he is being more patriotic standing up for injustice then the assholes complaining about him being unamerican. He paid the ultimate price for his beliefs by being blacklisted by NFL, despite being a better player statistically then a lot of other qb's

Just like Muhammad Ali back in the late 1960's.
Whiteys cannot handle a smart sexy black man who speaks his mind. Just tears 'em up!! Master race, indeed.

Boy, that Trump sure made us all act like school age children. Name calling, and all. He's our bully in chief. The sad thing is in the last forty years American education has been so dumbed down that you couldn't educate an American with set ideas if you wanted to. Putins having fun with that one.

My neighbor, a wonderful man who lives by himself after his wife died in spite of being legally blind, is a 94 yo WW2 vet, who was shot down in the South Pacific near the end of the war. He spent his working career as a newspaper journalist, and as an active Democratic Party member helping locally as well as nationally his whole adult life...... But.... yeah multi millionaire Kaepernick, who doesn't even vote, who took a knee for attention when his career was going down the tubes... yeah he deserves citizen of the year over the millions of other actual great Americans (my ass).

You're probably right mlaiuppa, my neighbor who was part of the greatest generation, and fought in WW2, who got shot down, into the ocean, who went on to live a productive and humble and generous life contributing to society, is probably a total douchebag.

But Colin Kaepernick, who doesn't even vote, who was lucky enough to live a privileged life due to well off adoptive parents, is totally cool now because he grew a big afro and took some super cool pictures for GQ, (I did not forget to mention he doesn't vote right?), totally, totally Citizen of the Fucking Year. He da Man!

In 2014, Colin thru an interception to Lamarr Houston, a black player. Upon completion of the play, Colin called Lamarr a"n-gg-r" and might went s far as calling him a "f-ck-g n-gg-r". For this , an unsportsmanlike penalty was thrown, and Colin was fined over $10,000. Colin, being the coward he is , tried to deny it, but there were too many witnesses. When Lamarr was asked about it, he said it was no big deal, it's a "cultural thing". So spare me any respect for Colin, as far as I'm concerned , he's in the same class he called Lamarr Houston.
