Papa John's is now the "official" white supremacist pizza. You know, just in case all that cross burning gives you the munchies.

Courtesy of Newsweek:

Neo-Nazis and white supremacists have always been distasteful, but now it turns out their taste in pizza is terrible, too.

The white supremacist website the Daily Stormer announced Thursday that Papa John’s pizza is the official pie of the alt-right, posting a picture of a pizza with a swastika fashioned from pepperoni slices. The caption reads, "Papa John: Official pizza of the alt-right?"

The pronouncement came after Papa John’s CEO John Schnatter, whose pizza is an official NFL sponsor, blamed his company’s recent losses on NFL players protesting police brutality during the national anthem.

Schnatter was widely accused of racism and of making bad pizza. But white supremacists came to his defense.

“This might be the first time ever in modern history that a major institution is going to be completely destroyed explicitly because of public outrage over their anti-white agenda,” Daily Stormer writer Adrian Sol posted, referring to the NFL and adding disturbingly, “The Negro fatigue caused by this whole NFL fiasco is reaching heights that even I didn’t fully expect.”

Uh...okay.

By the way after Schnatter made his remarks about the NFL protests hurting pizza sales he was trolled pretty hard by other pizza outlets.
So just remember, if you support white supremacy Papa John's Pizza is your go to racist food provider.

However if you are a reasonable person, who just wants a tasty slice, then just about every place else in the country is significantly better.

    This is great news!

Being the official pizza of the alt-right couldn’t happen to a more deserving racist! Congratulations Papa John!

Papa Johns has always been crappy pizza.

But John Schnatter's remarks were about business and on spot about about the loss of revenue due to the dropping interest/fan resentment of the NFL due to the continuing antics of the player protests. That does not make him racist. Frankly I hope the NFL totally tanks and all these 'underprivileged and downtrodden' millionaire players suddenly have no income to pay for their mansions in gated communities, their garage full of sports cars, and their pricey wives. Likely the billionaire owners will survive the fallout. Because they are billionaires.

Nothing illustrates this better than some ads for Bushmaster automatic weapons. They ask, “Does your wife or girlfriend make more money than you? Revoke your man card. Do you prefer tofu to meat? Revoke your man card." After such questions, the Bushmaster automatic rifle is celebrated with the statement “Reinstate your man card.”
"media rarely if ever analyze the role of capitalism in denying white men their family wages and the American dream. Capitalism—the profit system—is thereby rendered innocent while angry white workers are deplorably prejudiced. Men versus women, white against non-white, immigrant against native: a divided mass of people (mostly employees) get caught up in conflicts as while capitalists accumulate wealth and capitalism evades criticism."
" An estimated 88,000 people (approximately 62,000 men and 26,000 women) die from alcohol-related causes annually. Food is also a comfort for loneliness. One in three American adults and at least one in ten U.S. children are obese. Loneliness is an epidemic in America."
" In 2017 so far, we have had 152 mass shootings. No other developed nation has had anything remotely like that."none have an unchecked gun industry that relentlessly equates guns with MANHOOD."

Nearly EVERY commercial Pizza chain makes mediocre pizza, and some are truly disgusting.

Papa John's falls into that category. Worst I've EVER had by far.

Crust was tasteless crap, thin cheap sauce out of a can, and gummy cheese that was more like library paste than food. Horrible stuff, never mind the idiot CEO whining about NFL players

That's just terrible business sense on their part regardless of personal beliefs(abhorrent). That's a cloddish move business-wise. I've never had their pizza but I won't try it now.

He represents six pack nascar crowd. NFL has been losing viewers for years with all the crappy other sports programs and the fact head injuries happen. Owners are stuck with over paid players, injured players, low viewer intelligence and over priced tickets and hot dogs. Bad business. Restructure time.

piZZaGate Projection CONnection? "To be clear, sex trafficking is a legitimate issue outside of the convenient Super Bowl news bubble. But again, there’s no evidence that a mass influx of sports fans increases the problem or contributes to it in some way. Ultimately, spreading misinformation can end up undercutting efforts to bring awareness to the very real problem of sex trafficking and forced prostitution. Focusing only on the Super Bowl and quick fixes like ramped up police patrol, doesn’t address the bigger, ongoing problem of sex exploitation."
"It is undeniable, of course, that prostitution takes place in and around the environs of each year’s Super Bowl, and that some of that activity tragically involves coerced sex trafficking of minors and women, but on a scale of “zero” to “legions” (i.e., 10,000 and upwards), the numbers reflected in news accounts are far, far closer to the low end of that spectrum. Typically, the number of persons reportedly interdicted for sex trafficking-related crimes in FBI Super Bowl operations (even though those operations may encompass several states over a two-week period, as they did in 2014) falls in the dozens rather than the thousands, and those numbers don’t factor out the locals who took advantage of a major event occurring in their neighborhood rather than “importing” victims to the area:" from CRIMEa?

  15. He puts the pepperoni UNDER the cheese where it gets all greasy and you can't tell how little he puts on. His pizza sucks.

I got to Little Caesar's and get a better pizza for $5. (I haven't tried Pizza Hut but I know Domino's is the worst pizza ever.)

He can stick his anti-ACA up this big Trump ass.

    2. We don’t have that here. But we do have restaurants that make a pretty good pizza from scratch with quality ingredients.

I know of no chain pizza shops with decent pizza. I’ll pay $5 for a Little Caesars because it’s hot, filling and I can get it fast. Other than that, not much to say about it.

My parents had a place near them that made good pizza, but it closed. There was a spot in Little Italy that I loved but that’s closed for renovation right now.

But Papa John’s is hardly on my list of great pizzas. Not even on the fast food chain pizza list.

Plus, he’s a right wing fascist oligarch.

I can't believe how many people actually purchase pizza, either frozen or prepared.

Hello, what is one of the easiest things in the world to make? Pizza! Flour, yeast, cheese, delicious homemade sauce and veggies and/or meat.

Why do people buy this simple meal from fast food restaurants? Same with burgers. Any idiot can grill up a better burger than you get from a restaurant along with cutting potatoes and making fries. What? Are we all just too lazy to cook?

Truly good homemade pizza is usually more difficult for the average person with an average kitchen to create than a local decent pizza parlor (not chains) with all the best ans proper ingredients, house sauce, skill, and probably most importantly good pizza ovens or wood fired pizza ovens to cook a pizza correctly. It can be done, but it is hard to beat local restaurants that serve truly good pizza (that costs much much more than 7.99 for a large). I agree with you though generally, and most definitely for burgers and most other foods. It is not that hard. Patience and practice and learned skill, anyone can be a decent chef.

when you make your pizza, make sure your sauce isn't runny. the bread crust will soak it up and be really grossly wet. i bake the crust for a few minutes before putting the sauce on. cook your pepperoni for a moment in the microwave to remove some of the fat. or use turkey pepperoni.

    3. It’s not the ingredients or the making of a pizza.

      It’s the oven.

Most homes don’t have ovens that go up to 900 degrees. Most homes don’t have wood fired pizza ovens.

It’s in the baking, not the ingredients and the making, although that does count for some.

I have bricks for my oven and mine will go above 500 but I’m not sure how much higher. But it’s still not high enough and I’d have to slowly pre-heat the oven with the bricks in it, then after the pizza is done, slowly let them cool down in order not to crack them. Big pain in the ass. I’ve made pizza and sauce from scratch. I’ve baked bread and it’s not the same as the Italian bakery because I can’t inject steam into my oven. Same goes for the pizza.

I have been able to duplicate Bavarian Laugenbretzeln pretty close. I’m going to be working on bagels next.

But pizza? You need the right oven.
