Fox's Lou Dobbs suggests that Barack Obama should be detained by federal officials for speaking badly about Donald Trump.

Courtesy of Newsweek:

Former President Barack Obama should be detained by federal officials for talking badly about President Donald Trump. After Obama said this week that people should "think before you speak, think before you tweet," in an apparent reference to Trump's twilight Twitter rants, Fox Business’ Lou Dobbs had harsh words for Obama.

“I think U.S. Marshals should follow him, and any time he wants to go follow the president like he is, and behave… I mean, this is just bad manners. It’s boorish, it’s absurd, he doesn’t realize how foolish he looks. I mean, he should be brought back by the Marshals," Dobbs said. "Isn’t there some law that says presidents shouldn’t be attacking sitting presidents?”

Dobbs' guest Steve Forbes added on that Obama doesn’t realize he “doesn’t matter anymore.”

Oh, he matters. In fact he matters more and more all the time.

First off Lou Dobbs is turning into a real nut job since going over to to Fox News, which I am now assuming is a prerequisite to employment.

Secondly Obama did not really single Donald Trump out by name, but instead said this in response to a question about a statement Michelle had made about not tweeting in bed:

“Michelle was giving the general idea . . . don’t say the first thing that pops in your head. Have a little bit of an edit function,” Barack Obama explained. “Think before you speak, think before you tweet.”

That is just good damn advice right there.  And we should all take it to heart.

Especially if we are a giant orange toddler currently living at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

    Lou should move Russia,they don't have a 1st amendment.

Boorish behavior, does that include questioning someone's citizenship for years and if Obama's opinion doesn't matter any more, why are they discussing it?

Lou's god is witnessing him being a LIAR. Lou stands with LIARS, not to counsel them but to praise them for their deceit and falsehoods. There is no religion that accepts the current climate in America. Lou and those like him are delusional whether through brainwash or ignorance, they should be taken in for examination and mental healthcare.

When President Obama made that statement about tweeting, he was responding to a question. He did not mention Trump by name. I imagine that any responsible parent would have said the same thing in a conversation with his/her child about tweeting or posting on the Internet generally. It was a totally common sensical statement. If Dobbs sees that as a slur on Trump, hmmm. . . . Should Dobbs be run in by the FBI for thinking such a thing?

    1. Since Michelle is very involved with curbing bullying, I wouldn’t be surprised if she had the recent suicides of young children in mind when she and Barack were talking about thinking before you tweet.

Now who is it who is supposed to be campaigning against bully? Someone in the White House I think.

Billy Bush says there were 8 witnesses to Trump's 'Access Hollywood' comments

... But last week, the Times and The Post reported that Trump has sowed doubts about the recording’s authenticity, telling people close to him, including a Republican senator, that the tape may have been doctored or faked. He has suggested to senior advisers that the voice isn’t his, or that it was edited to make him look bad, and has asked others whether they think it sounds like him, as The Post has reported....

In his commentary Sunday, Bush said he believed some of the women who have publicly accused Trump of forcibly kissing and groping them in different encounters over the past two and a half decades, saying their accounts line up with Trump’s comments on the bus. His apparent questioning of the “Access Hollywood” tape has “hit a raw nerve in me,” Bush wrote....

“To these women: I will never know the fear you felt or the frustration of being summarily dismissed and called a liar, but I do know a lot about the anguish of being inexorably linked to Donald Trump,” Bush wrote. “You are the culture warriors at the forefront of necessary change.”....

"More than one-third of those Republican voters who said they decided not to switch to Jones gave a reason that fell into the category of just generally not liking him. Ten percent said they didn’t like his personal history. (Jones is a former U.S. attorney best known for finally putting Ku Klux Klan members behind bars for blowing up an African-American church back in 1963.) Eight percent cited abortion as the reason. "

They don't like Jones. They don't care about Moore's pedophilia. They like Moore, they don't like Jones.

It's a popularity contest. You know, like the last presidential election.

(Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said in a tweet on Sunday he never asked former FBI director James Comey to stop investigating former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

"I never asked Comey to stop investigating Flynn. Just more Fake News covering another Comey lie!" Trump tweeted.

President Trump's outside lawyer said in a new interview that a president can't obstruct justice.

The "President cannot obstruct justice because he is the chief law enforcement officer under [the Constitution's Article II] and has every right to express his view of any case," attorney John Dowd told  Axios.

His comments come after Trump in a tweet over the weekend appeared to reveal he knew former national security adviser Michael Flynn had lied to the FBI when he was fired.

"I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled guilty to those lies," Trump tweeted on Saturday.

"It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!"

The tweet spurred controversy, as legal experts suggested if Trump knew Flynn had lied to the FBI and then asked Comey to drop the investigation, it could amount to obstruction of justice.

.... Dowd said the tweet sent out from the president's Twitter account over the weekend was his "mistake."

    2. Dowd is lying to cover up Trump’s admission of guilt.

And an “enforcer” of the law doesn’t get to make up laws or ignore existing laws as he pleases. Trump can’t enforce any laws because he doesn’t know any laws and has no concept of obeying anything that conflicts with his own desires and the reality he has created for himself.

Didn’t we all say his Twitter account would be his downfall?

Unfortunately, this now sets up a precedent of you can’t believe anything on his Twitter because Trump may not have “said” it. So his Twitter is “official” unless it’s not.

Barack Obama is a class act; diplomatic in his speech and a gentleman in his manner. Mr. Dobbs, you have it wrong. It is Trump, who is boorish; a clown with followers who applaud his boorishness. Don't you realize that your hero is a complete laughing stock around the globe.

It seems the more outrageous Trump becomes, the more his supporters like it. Who in their wildest imagination would think that the number one country in the world would elect such an embarrassment to represent them.

"Hatch claims poor people don’t deserve government help because ‘they won’t help themselves"
""[I]f we gave that money in middle class tax cuts, they’d just waste it on hookers and blow. right?” But it wasn't just Democrats taking issue. At the conservative Hot Air site, Ed Morrissey says the comment "is everything right and wrong with the current Republican tax-reform effort in a nutshell." Grassley's first criticism of the "double dip" problem with the estate tax is spot-on correct, he writes. "In the very next breath, however, Grassley commits the same sin that has plagued the tax system for decades, which is Congress’ desire to commit social engineering through it." The House tax plan would eliminate the tax entirely in 2024, while the Senate version would double exemptions to $11 million for individuals and $22 million for couples."

    4. The only way to win is to draw out the impeachement of Pence and Ryan to coincide with the 2020 elections so we never have to suffer President Hatch.

I suppose it’s possible Ryan could be replaced by a political opponent winning against him in re-election but I’m not going to get my hopes up. The Republicans voters, at least in his district, are stupid Deplorables that probably think he’s doing a great job, even though he completely flip flopped on his support of Trump and is fucking them over with the Tax Scam.

  21. They’re having a hissy because Obama is traveling the world, meeting world leaders that Trump has already met, being welcomed warmly. Basically cleaning up Trump’s mess and mending America’s reputation in the world.

Then there’s how many twitter followers Obama has. Trump can generate enough fake followers to come close to beating Obama. That must really burn his cookies.

I’m not surprised Trump took that dig personally. He should. Obama is still playing chess and Trump can’t even manage hopscotch. While the context had absolutely nothing to do with Trump, the message had everything to do with Trump.

Gryphen, I'm really offended about this category shift in your classification of T.RUmp. Toddlers while irritating at times are also cute,, cuddly and harmless. T.RUmp on teh other hand is always obnoxious, never cute, never cuddly (ask Melania)and downright dangerous to our democracy. He is an orange shitgibbon, flinging feces (which ruin and contaminate everything they touch, causing disease and stench, all with no plan or purpose except expressing it's own impotent frustration.

Please rturn to the appropriate term for T.RUmp - shitgibbon.
