You would think that somebody like this would constantly pay close attention to conversations happening around her, in all circumstances.
Well perhaps her hearing and memory fail when it has anything to do with controversial comments made by her boss.
Or maybe since she is part of Trump's Administration she is simply following the "Lie About Everything" rule book.
The whole Trump organization are under strict rules to deny, deny, deny.

I'm a Republican. What on Earth Is Wrong With My Party?
ReplyDeleteI am a Republican in the era of Donald Trump, and I am emotionally depleted by the constant cruelty of the President of the United States.
I’ve told myself repeatedly that I am done being shocked by a degenerate of such magnitude that I wouldn’t want to invite him to a family gathering for fear of what he might say in front of my mother.
But just when you say you can’t be surprised, Trump exceeds the generosity of your lowest expectations.

The GOP as they knew it long ago is dead and buried along with them. They wouldn't even vote for them in later years.
Then, ... why are you still a Republican?
DeleteI am no longer a Democrat. I’m non-partisan now.
If your still a feelow ReTHuGlican of The Rumps party, you are no longer able to claim you are a moral person. Silence and reamining in the GOP is complicity. And you are guilty.

Trump is a liar, but his 'shithole' remark shows he's often scariest when he says what he truly believes
ReplyDeleteIn an off-the-cuff comment with legislators gathered in the Oval Office on Thursday to discuss immigration, President Trump laid bare his world vision. There are wealthy white countries such as Norway, which are welcome to send immigrants to the United States. Then there are what the president called “shithole countries” — Haiti and all the nations of Africa — whose people (overwhelmingly black and brown) the president doesn’t think belong here.
Trump’s comment was outrageous, immature, inhumane and vulgar — and it shames the nation. It’s shocking that an American president would think so reductively and heartlessly about so much of the world. Nevertheless, it is unlikely that the president himself will feel shame. Instead, he’ll bluster and bray about “fake news” and try to drag in the 2016 election results and the stock market, and in the end, he is unlikely to be punished by his base for what he said.
But his comments stand for themselves. “What do we want Haitians here for?” the president reportedly asked. “Why do we want all these people from Africa here? Why do we want all these people from shithole countries?" Then he added: “We should have people from places like Norway.”
http://www.latimes.com/opinion/editorials/la-ed-shithole-countries-20180111-story.html
Vice President Mike Pence on Sunday attended a service at the Metropolitan Baptist Church in Largo, Maryland — and he reportedly appeared embarrassed as he watched the church’s pastor shame President Donald Trump for calling African countries “shitholes.”
ReplyDeleteLocal news station WUSA 9 reports that Metropolitan Baptist Church Pastor Dr. Maurice Watson on Sunday called out Trump for saying that he would rather import more immigrants from white-majority countries such as Norway than black-majority countries such as Haiti.
“I stand today as your Pastor to vehemently denounce and reject any such characterizations of the nations of Africa and of our brothers and sisters in Haiti,” Watson told his congregation as Pence looked on. “And I further say: Whoever made such a statement, whoever used such a visceral, disrespectful, dehumanizing adjective to characterize the nations of Africa… whoever said it, is wrong. And they ought to be held accountable.”
According to WUSA 9’s report, Pence “became visibly red-faced at times throughout the speech,” even though the pastor did not call out President Trump by name.
Watch the video of Watson’s speech below.

My country is a good country.”"“This is not a Confederate uncle that’s locked away in the attic,” said Thabiti Anyabwile, pastor of Washington D.C.’s Anacostia River Church. “This is someone who is making policies, and he’s doing so from an openly racist point of view.”"
Fuck Pence. He took a shot and lost. He’ll *NEVER* be president. Not unless Trump DIES in office, which is now unlikely. Trump won’t resign and is not likely to be impeached in the two years the Democrats might have a majority. Even if Trump doesn’t run for a second term, he has so destroyed the Republican brand that no matter who runs, they’ll lose. So if Pence was planning on running in 2020 he’ll lose, just like McCain and Rmoney. Pence is now a place holder, serving out his VP term until 2020 when he’ll be politically dead. The most he can so is be a tie breaker for another year, inflicting as much damage as he can putting more unqualified Deplorable judges into life time positions. That’s all. He’s done. Yeah, I hope he’s red faced and embarassed 24/7 until 2020. I wish him constant acid reflux and diarrhea.

The infant mortality rate for non-Hispanic black mothers is roughly twice that of non-Hispanic white mothers, 11.11 to 5.06 respectively. FB except""On April 4, 1967, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. took the pulpit at Riverside Church in New York for one of the most consequential and controversial speeches of his career. It was entitled “Beyond Vietnam: A Time to Break Silence,” and most Americans weren’t ready for the message he would deliver. Instead of the optimism of “I Have a Dream,” there was a weariness verging on pessimism. “The war in Vietnam is but a symptom of a far deeper malady within the American spirit,” King said. “. . . We as a nation must undergo a radical revolution of values.” King preached about money going for bombs instead of to the needy, about the uneven burden of military service between the rich and the poor, and about the institutionalization of violence at the heart of all wars. King described the plight of the Vietcong and argued that the world would see us as occupiers. In perhaps his most controversial statement, he equated the use of napalm by the U.S. military with the tactics of Nazi Germany. “What do they think as we test out our latest weapons on them, just as the Germans tested out new medicine and new tortures in the concentration camps of Europe?”
ReplyDeleteI was not in the pews that evening, but I remember reading the press coverage and feeling a deep ache in my heart. The thought occurred that perhaps King had gone too far. He might have gotten a standing ovation from his antiwar audience, but the larger response to the speech was highly negative. The New York Times ran an editorial entitled “Dr. King’s Error” that suggested, in an observation echoed by many commentators and even some of King’s allies, that the civil rights leader should have kept his focus on racial justice instead of war.
But King saw these causes as inextricably linked."
"“I figure I was politically unwise but morally wise. I think I have a role to play which may be unpopular.” That quote is as elegant a definition of dissent as you are likely to find.
In all the sanitized reimaginings of King’s legacy, the Riverside Church speech is too often forgotten. That is a mistake because it captures both the complexities of the times and of a man who was one of the great dissenters in American history."
"something I think too often misunderstood about King, is his strong belief that communism was not the answer. For while he was highly critical of the United States, he told his audience, “We must not engage in a negative anti-communism, but rather in a positive thrust for democracy, realizing that our greatest defense against communism is to take offensive action in behalf of justice.”"We have a long history in the United States of marginalized voices eventually convincing majorities through the strength of their ideas." Twitter Promoted a Tweet That Steals Your Credit Card Details
ReplyDeleteTwitter has its work cut out when trying to police its sprawling social network: Porn bots, propaganda trolls, and neo-Nazis plague the site every day. But in a novel case, cybercriminals recently leveraged Twitter’s “promoted tweet” feature to push a website designed to steal, funnily enough, a bevy of Twitter users’ personal data.
“Jesus Christ, Twitter is promoting a phishing site that claims to offer Twitter verification and asks for your Twitter password, phone number, and credit card information,” Mike Wehner, trending news editor from BGR, tweeted Sunday, along with a selection of screenshots of the offending site.
