So this happened yesterday.

Courtesy of Fox News:

Across the world, people were coming together and hitting the streets on Saturday -- the one-year anniversary of President Trump’s inauguration -- marching against his policies and in support of the #MeToo movement against sexual assault and harassment. Protests in New York, Washington, D.C., and Rome were among the more than 200 such actions planned for the weekend.

In Rome earlier Saturday, dozens of activists gathered to denounce violence against women and express support for #MeToo.

People also gathered in Osaka, Japan; Frankfurt, Germany; and Kampala, Uganda, for boisterous demonstrations.

To me this is a beautiful thing.

But you have to know that if you are a powerful man used to treating women like objects, or second hand citizens, this has to be one of the most terrifying things imaginable.

But not for one powerful man, because I don't think he really understood what was happening.  What was the score on that cognitive test again?

I went to our local march.
Trump would not be pleased. His name was not mentioned but his deeds were.
People are angry and they will not be silenced any longer.

Who exactly has been silenced and when? The Trump haters have been whining and crying and screaming since day one, and nobody has tried to stop their ridiculously embarrassing behavior. It is way too entertaining to watch.

Kinda OT: Call the White House 202-456-1111 and, honest to God, this is the message:

“Thank you for calling the White House. Unfortunately, we cannot answer your call today because congressional Democrats are holding government funding—including funding for our troops and other national security priorities—hostage to an unrelated immigration debate. Due to this obstruction, the government is shut down. In the meantime, you can leave a comment for the president at www.whitehouse.gov/contact. We look forward to taking your calls as soon as the government reopens.”

    Good LORD.

    Chicago here.

Yesterday we had over 300,000 marchers in downtown Chicago, exceeding last years Women's March of 250,000. It was a great day!

Vote in 2018 to get Donald Trump and the Republican sheep out of office.

Democrats Have Gone off the Rails in Rural America. Can a New Report Get Them Back on Track?

...“We seem focused on things manifested in identity politics that don’t apply to rural,” says Illinois State Sen. Andy Manar, “There was a vacuum with these voters, and Trump filled it. Democrats didn’t have a coherent message to rural voters and weren’t reaching out.”

  23. The Republicans really have no clue what is happening or going to happen. No, not even Republican women.

After 45’s inauguration and the first women’s march, women in unprecedented numbers started running for public office from the locals on up. And winning. More and more women are getting training in HOW to run and HOW to win and they’re doing it.

This isn’t going away. It’s clear from this year’s Women’s March not only having more numbers of participants but also spreading around the world. Women aren’t taking this shit any longer and they’re doing something about it. They’re not just marching.

They’re running for and winning political offices.
    They’re lobbying.
They’re working in political campaigns and as activists.

The more the Death Party digs in, the more Trump destroys this country, the more resistence he engenders. Every deplorable thing he says and does just makes the Women’s movement that much stronger. It will grow until it kills them.

Personally, I’d like to see this as a third political party. If it were, I would join the Woman’s Party in a heartbeat.

First of all, on full display, women's lack of logic in splitting the Democratic Party up and guaranteeing Republican victories.

Officially they are reporting 50k in Philadelphia, but I was there and I'd say we had more. People were still joining in throughout the day.
O/T but why is Phila always ignored on the news? DC and NY are always reported on in the Weather Channel, MSNBC and CNN....it is annoying lol! No one even mentioned our March on TV coverage.

I say its time to bring back the Sarah Palin type Tea Party rallies to counter these Fake bogus outrage womens marchs!........I posted that on BBs threads about these weekend Marchs and many posters agreed, and I did use the name of Sarah Palin, and got good response and upvotes. People remember those days as it scared the crap out of Obama and the left, it was a phenomenon that surprised the Left and the Media.
