It turns out that the Florida school shooter received some of his training from the NRA.

The troubled teen authorities say killed 17 people at a Florida high school excelled in an air-rifle marksmanship program supported by a grant from the National Rifle Association Foundation, part of a multimillion-dollar effort by the gun group to support youth shooting clubs.

Nikolas Cruz, 19, was wearing a maroon shirt with the logo from the Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps program at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School when he was arrested Wednesday shortly after the shooting. Former JROTC cadets told The Associated Press that Cruz was a member of the small varsity marksmanship team that trained together after class and traveled to other area schools to compete.

“He was a very good shot,” said Aaron Diener, 20, who gave Cruz a ride to shooting competitions when they were part of the same four-member team in 2016. “He had an AR-15 he talked about, and pistols.”

The JROTC marksmanship program used air rifles special-made for target shooting, typically on indoor ranges at targets the size of a small coin. Records show that the Stoneman Douglas JROTC program received $10,827 in non-cash assistance from the NRA’s fundraising and charitable arm in 2016, when Cruz was on the squad.

Well gee that is very helpful.

Not only is the NRA working to put more guns in the hands of the mentally ill, but they are even training them to be more effective killers.

P.S. By the way for all of the people who are unconvinced that Cruz was a Trump supporter, Snopes has you covered.

And if you remain unconvinced of his racism, well this should put that to rest.

Stoneman Douglas High School is an AR-15 and NRA shooting. NRA, all the donors, spokespersons, supporters own those deaths at Stoneman Douglas.
The students, staff and families know it and they are not going quietly into the night.

This is powerful. These people can make a difference.

Emma Gonzalez, a Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School student who survived the shooting that took 17 lives, made an impassioned speech Saturday calling out President Trump on gun control.

“If the President wants to come up to me, and tell me to my face that it was a terrible tragedy and how it should never have happened and maintain telling us how nothing is going to be done about it, I’m going to happily ask him how much money he received from the National Rifle Association,” said Gonzalez at the gun control rally in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
“It doesn’t matter because I already know,” added Gonzalez. “$30 million dollars!”

Paul Ryan went to some fundraising event in Florida but conveniently was unable to visit with any shooting victims. Sorry for the lack of a citation but I can't remember where I saw it.

Put the NRA on trial, be it the court of public opinion or other. Emma Gonzalez is about Piper Palin's age.

Piper, working for the deadly disastrous (AR15) Alaskan family, posts an image of the AR15 derelicts.
Emma has her heart in her community, her country and delivers a speech that can wake the departed.

What a difference an upbringing makes!

Sarah has used up Bristol, the never was has been. Willow is squat. She can always use Trig in her way as she has always done. Track needs to be released from his legal problems before he can be resurrected for The Palin Plans.

There is only high school student Piper Palin left to carry the torch for The Palin Plans in a Palin World. The lifestyle must go on! Piper is old enough and who is more perfect to support the NRA and Trump and counter a high school student like Emma?

I've been horrified to learn that our two public high schools now have shooting clubs (founded, not doubt, by the NRA.)

No impulse control Track was too angry to play hockey. He sold drugs and messed with school buses. I don't think he had any higher aspirations in high school.

Track was a good, well-liked kid who had no major issues.

2 of his sister are disgusted by people who knew of the FL shooter's potential dangerous plans and failed to do anything.

Yea right like 2 of his sisters that knew he beats women and did nothing. Are they disgusted with themselves?

Exactly. Sisters and others see and do not say a word for the good. Jordan speaks out, but not many listen. Britta is going to hang in with the complicit family that sees and goes to extremes to keep secrets. Dakota sees and knows but he doesn't care about the kids. Disgusting community all of them.
It's all for the love of AR-15. Mentally ill vets must buy assault weapons.

@5:58 PM Why don't you move in with Track and enjoy his niceness, dummy? After 2 drinks and some oxycontin, he will attack you.
