Rob Reiner's conversation with former DNI James Clapper and former CIA chief John Brennan is a must see.
At 22 plus minutes this is a little longer than most videos that I post here, but it is well worth your time to watch.
Thank you for posting this. As disheartening as it is to watch what Trump and his cohorts have done and continue to do to undermine the democracy, it is comforting to know that there are people like Reiner, Clapper and Brennan working to expose that corruption to the light. #resistance
I will watch this video again to absorb all of it and share with people who are concerned. My theory is that it takes a big person to admit they were fooled, victimized by lies, and propaganda of fiction. When the elected president is a master of deception likely admiring winning at any cost following the pattern to tear down people and institutions of our democracy is more dangerous and insidious.
I heard a portion of Reince Preibus interviewed this morning on MSNBC. The bottom line asserted by Preibus was But....he won the election. Preibus mentioned the media focuses on his low poll numbers But...he won with low poll number of 37%.
I would bet the truth is that Trump knows he won by cheating, lies, deception with the help of Russia. Therefore he reacts, defends by attack projecting this is fake news to delegitimize his win not caring about Russian interference.
I listened to three minutes. Do they get to Trump? Or is it 22 minutes of hand wringing over Putin. Not to be a pain, but I'm working on PhD and have a lot of reading today. Having my coffee and my IM for 15 minutes before getting going. If someone can let me know it they get to Drumpf, I'll watch with afternoon coffee! Thanks!!
It's a very measured and reasoned discussion. Something someone pursuing a PhD would appreciate (the hubs has one of those alphabet soups after his name). Even if you have to watch/listen in bits I think it's worth your time. For these guys to say anything at all says to me that they are hair-on-fire screaming.

Republicans morphed into Russians. Most people in America don't deserve a democracy because they are so overly saturated with the flamboyant like of Trump that they think he is normal. They see no harm in what he and the Russians accomplished that they fail to see the long run picture on how democracy has been weakened and may never recover if people don't rise up to protect their own government. Right now Donald is trying to have a military parade and those who say yay or nay may let him. Tax payers pay for this United States government. United States citizens have gotten so use to harping about the faceless big brother that when he is in the White House they don't recognize it. I am glad you posted the video, and that there are people talking about this. But we are in trouble really. Because there was a time when a person like Trump would be carted off to jail but now he owns the White House in all his bald, wrinkled highness. Before you knew it, we had a demigod in the White House. Putin of coarse is pulling the stings. That's the bigger picture that Americans are having a hard time seeing. Remember if it's not in picture it won't make sense to this generation. And the older generation won't care because by god, they don't want homosexuals and all those liberal ideals, and they don't care who undermines that.
