Axios gets its hands on Robert Mueller's hit list, and it's a doozy.

Yep, I'm still coming.
Courtesy of Axios:

What Mueller is asking for: Mueller is subpoenaing all communications — meaning emails, texts, handwritten notes, etc. — that this witness sent and received regarding the following people:

  1. Carter Page
  2. Corey Lewandowski
  3. Donald J. Trump
  4. Hope Hicks
  5. Keith Schiller
  6. Michael Cohen
  7. Paul Manafort
  8. Rick Gates
  9. Roger Stone
  10. Steve Bannon

The subpoena asks for all communications from November 1, 2015, to the present. Notably, Trump announced his campaign for president five months earlier — on June 16, 2015.

Ga-damn! Mueller is definitely not fooling around.

Take a look at how many of those on this list are no longer workign in the White House, and how many never even made it that far.

And you KNOW that Mueller has already gained access to these records from Rick Gates, Steve Bannon, and Carter Page.

I heard on cable new this morning that it appears Mueller is approaching this much the same way he did while investigating organized crime families.

Seems appropriate.

By the way it is clearly getting to Trump, who tweeted this out this morning.
Not only is that completely inaccurate but it also indicates that Trump is freaking the hell out.

I'm sure Mueller has him under investigation already. This is going to be so interesting to watch. Can hardly wait to see all these idiots hauled off to prison. Trump and Pence have surrounded themselves w/so many evil people.

I hate Trump, but I don’t think he’ll ever see the inside of a jail. Even if he’s forced out of office, I imagine Pence will pardon him.

Possibly, but Trump's reputation will be ruined forever and he'll live a very lonely and uninteresting life! So many in our country and world despise him and his family members.

I don't think Pence will pardon anyone because he wants to retain the presidency.

What scares me about removing Trump from office is that if Pence takes over, he would be much more electable in 2020. I refuse to believe that Trump could win reelection, but Pence could, as long as he doesn't pardon Trump.

The lesson from Gerald Ford is don't pardon an out-going criminal president if you want don't want to pay the price when the next election rolls around.

What I could see Pence doing is telling Trump he will pardon him, but then not doing so.

    8. Pence can’t pardon state crimes.

Trump mayt never go to prison but he will be ruined.

First, he doesn’t have the money he says he does.

Second, all of his creditors will call in their markers. All of the banks will demand loans be repaid immediately. If he owes on any properties and can’t pay, they’ll be foreclosed and taken.

Third. ALL of his finances and dealings will be exposed. He reputation will be gone when it’s proved he’s not only NOT a billionaire he doesn’t have the hundreds of millions he says he does. He’ll be exposed as a pompous lying conman he is. His life will be ruined. His “legacy” gone. The entire fake house of cards will have fallen down. If anything can do it, that will bring on the heart attack that takes him out. He will die penniless.

I just hope he lives long enough to see Trump Tower taken from him and his name removed and it be officially renamed.

If they can also get him on any sort of tax evasion and take his penthouse AND Mar-a-Lago, that would be awesome.

With the Trump businesse bankrupt, let’s see his children get *real* jobs. They’ll never survive working for other people even if they can get hired.

    OT? WTF?
"“We’re going to have it built very quickly and very inexpensively,” Trump revealed. “They put an order in front last week for a Billion dollars. I said, ‘A Billion! What’s that for?’ We’re going to build an embassy. I said, we’re not going to spend a Billion dollars. And we’re actually doing it for about $250,000.”

Trump noted that the embassy he’s building is “temporary but it will be very nice.”

“$250,000 versus a Billion dollars,” the president said, turning to Netanyahu. “Is that good?”<tinydjt

You couldn't buy any building suitable for an Embassy for $250,000. Not anywhere. The renovations alone to make it into a functional embassy would cost more than $250,000 if you got the building for FREE. You couldn't put an embassy in a TENT for $250,000.

    LOL! Poor babies...

Why It’s Hard for Conservatives to Date in DC Right Now

...Most of the self-identifying progressives I talked with said they could tell how far right a man or woman leaned based on their dating-app photos—”Make America Great Again” hats are an obvious tell, but some also listed photos of US flag paraphernalia, hunting gear, or fratty beach parties as turn-offs.

Conversely, a young White House staffer says she typically looks for someone from the South when swiping through profiles, as she thinks they’ll be more receptive to her support of the President. She swipes left on anyone who went to a small, liberal-arts college or has a photo “wearing one of those pink hats on their heads” at the Women’s March, she says, as she thinks they wouldn’t be compatible.

But sometimes you just can’t tell until you encounter a subject in the wild.

When she first moved to DC, a former Obama White House staffer who now works at the Aspen Institute was set up on a date with a Republican who worked on Capitol Hill. “We had a really nice time, but at the end of the date, he told me he didn’t believe in global warming,” she says. “I started laughing, because I’m from Colorado and didn’t realize people actually didn’t believe in global warming. But he was serious.”

    They didn’t go out again.

      It's really quite incredible.

This guy is an IDIOT. He is totally unhinged and running on pure emotion. I don't think he is thinking of protecting anyone at all, and certainly not himself. If he were trying to protect Stone, he could just say so. He just seems indignant, how could they do this? This is inconvenient for me.

He seems to have no concept of what legal authority is or laws are and what might happen to someone who doesn't follow them.

I can only hope that a little time to cool his jets in a jail cell will straighten out his thinking.

One other observation: there were sure a lot of low-quality people hanging around Trump. I'm not talking about the nasty but somewhat intelligent ones, like Stone or Bannon or Gorka, but the blithering idiots, like this tool or Carter Page or Mister Get-Drunk-and-Spill-Secrets-in-a-Pub, George Papadopoulos. Holy crap. These people are really, really, really morons.

He also says that Mueller probably has something on Trump. Katy Tur is left shaking her head. It's a must see, for sure.

Here's a good summary of things we actually knew about the Steele Dossier a year ago which were, at the time, "conspiracy theory" to say publicly—and are now a ho-hum summary in Esquire of reporting by The New Yorker.

    Trump-Russia, you've come a long way.

    https://twitter.com/SethAbramson/status/970742254410313729

A Blockbuster New Yorker Story Sheds Light on Christopher Steele, and, Yes, the 'Pee Tape'
Jane Mayer tackles the former M.I.6 operative in a must-read feature.

Monday brought the news that President Trump's State Department has been granted $120 million to fight Russian election meddling—which intelligence officials are supremely confident will continue during the 2018 midterms—and the agency has used exactly none of it. With last week's revelation that Trump has not given NSA Director Mike Rogers "day-to-day" authorization to fight Russian cyber attacks, it's further evidence the Trump administration is reluctant to counter Russia. Viewed in the light that Russia intervened in the 2016 election to benefit Trump, and that members of Trump's campaign are under investigation for possibly colluding in that effort, the number of coincidences really start to pile up.

Which takes us back to the now-infamous Dossier, a collection of memos written by former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele detailing Trumpworld's ties to Kremlin-connected figures. Monday also brought an exhaustive report from Jane Mayer in The New Yorker, examining Steele, his Dossier, and how its findings have been borne out in the subsequent Russia investigations from the House and Senate Intelligence Committees and Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Here are some of the report's most telling details...

This is the man Putin is: he trades your spy for his spy in what seems to be an above-board exchange, then has your spy poisoned—to death, he hopes—as a way of making what he gave you absolutely without value.

It's this monster Trump trusts above U.S. law enforcement officials.
