So this happened on Wednesday.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

Women dressed in white and men in dark suits gripped the guns, which they had been urged to bring unloaded to the church in the rural Pocono Mountains, about 100 miles (160 km) north of Philadelphia. Many celebrants wore crowns – some made of bullets – while church officials dressed in flowing bright pink and white garments to go with their armaments.

A spokesman for the church, now headed by the Reverend Hyung Jin Moon after the death of his father and church founder, the Reverend Sun Myung Moon, said the marriage blessing ceremony had been planned long before a man with an AR-15 massacred 17 students and school staff in Parkland, Florida, on Feb. 14.

Students from an elementary school near the church were relocated for the day to distance them from the gun-toting couples at the ceremony, according to the Wallenpaupack School District website.

Moon said in a statement that the staff of the Florida school should have been armed, an option President Donald Trump has said should be explored nationwide and which teacher unions have criticized.

Every once in awhile you see a story for which you almost cannot form the words to express your utter dismay.

This is one such story.

Cults are terrifying on their own.

But a cult that also exalts assault weapons, well that is just an entirely new level of terrifying.

There's a verse in the Bible for about very nut out there to use as an excuse for their behavior. Comprehension is obviously not in their skill set.

Homeland security must take a look at this religious cult. Do they have tax exempt status? Who are these old people? Why would they do such a hateful thing? Kid are being murdered using those assault weapons, what are they trying to say? Each one of them must be questioned for their actions today.

As Trump huddles with NRA in Oval, moms pack churches to stop bloodshed

...But outside the White House, a much larger movement was taking place, as moms across the country packed community centers and churches to demand action on gun violence.

Mom’s Demand Action, a gun violence prevention group with chapters across the country, held its regular meetings Thursday night. Except this week, those meetings were anything but routine.

In towns and cities from coast to coast, activists showed up in record-breaking numbers.

In Essex, New Jersey, over 200 people packed the pews of a local church — nearly seven times the number of people who usually attend the meeting.

Trump's pollsters tried to prove the American people support what Trump is doing. Their polls proved the opposite.

Dark money group America First Policies is running a pro-Trump polling operation. Here is an inside look at its secretive work

America First Policies, a nonprofit group with close ties to President Donald Trump, has hired Trump's pollsters to conduct a wide range of political polling and research that experts say resembles the kind of expensive work the Republican National Committee has performed for prior GOP administrations.

Such a practice breaks with decades of tradition and raises concerns about potential coordination between the pro-Trump dark money group, the White House and the RNC. America First Policies and the RNC have denied coordinating. The White House did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

1/ This is just a note to say Erik Prince a) is known to secretly lobby Trump, b) is a Trump "shadow advisor," c) had a secret Russia meeting on Trump's behalf, d) is a Russia-probe witness, e) said the following to Congress (apropos of Trump's sudden, bizarre aluminum tariff):

2/ As I indicated yesterday, Mueller *will* now have to re-interview Hicks to discuss the president's castigation of her and her reaction to it—as the bare facts of the "angry berating [for truthful Congressional testimony]" constitute yet *another* act of obstruction by Trump.

Russia “Previewed” Plan to Disseminate Emails with Trump Campaign

    And how that's legally significant

A significant recent revelation in the Russia investigation has been largely overlooked in the rush of several breaking news stories over the past few days. A nugget of information is contained in the memo written by Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee (the so-called Schiff Memo), which was released on Saturday morning.

Prior to the memo, we knew that a Russian agent told Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos of “Moscow possessing ‘dirt’” on Hillary Clinton “in the form of ‘thousands of emails,’” according to Papadopoulos’s plea statement. The memo went a legally significant step further. As Rep. Adam Schiff recently told Chris Hayes, “our memo discloses for the first time that the Russians previewed to Papadopoulos that they could help with disseminating these stolen emails.” Rep. Schiff added, “When Donald Trump openly called on the Russians to hack Hillary Clinton’s emails, they’d be richly rewarded if they released these to the press, his campaign had already been put on notice that the Russians were prepared to do just that and disseminate these stolen emails.” (The full transcript and video clip is below.)

White lies: when I asked hope Hicks about trumps use of amphetamine derivatives in 1982, she said he took them for a few days. When I said medical records I had showed he used them till 1990 - or 8 years when 25 days is max before addiction - she called me liberal & hung up.

Does any conservative know what a metaphor is? That is what religious symbols are - metaphor. Literal concretizing (ie "he died for my "sins") misses the whole point, turning the poetry into prose, "me" vs "you". Ignorance!

"The report states that Reese, a former Anglican priest who was part of a group ordained into the Catholic Church in 2016, came upon his his wife in the car, ordered her out, then drove around Indianapolis with her as his captive while blasting heavy metal music at her.

According to his wife’s statement to police, Reese drove to Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she said he made her kneel at the altar, claimed he could choke her, then slammed her into a wall before banging her head against their car before driving her to her “90-something-year-old” grandmother’s house to confess.

The wife’s affidavit also states Reese subsequently took her home, ripped off her clothes, then shredded other clothes “that he thought were slutty,” before he raped her.

According to Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Reese is currently taking a leave of absence, saying in a statement: “Father Reese notified me that he was experiencing some personal and family issues which would require a greater amount of his attention,” and admonishing parishioners to respect his privacy with the warning to
    “mind your own business.”"

It is allegedly said that Billy Graham died of AIDS. Is his boyfriend still alive?

His evangelicalism certainly ##cked up any possibility of him experiencing any accurate Understanding of the Self.

What a skill - to deny the wholeness of the person, instead spending a life under the lens of sinner. What a SYSTEMIC ERROR, particularly unique to the Occidental mind.

The number of Delta Air Lines passengers who bought tickets with NRA discount: 13

How many airline passengers does it take to kill a $40 million tax break for Delta Air Lines? 13.

The Georgia legislature removed a jet-fuel tax break from a larger tax package Thursday. Lawmakers were upset that Delta, which is headquartered in Atlanta, dropped the National Rifle Association from a discount-fare program in an effort to appear neutral on gun policy.

After the firestorm, Delta will review all its marketing programs to avoid those that might become political, CEO Ed Bastian announced Friday.

But the airline said only 13 passengers ever bought tickets with an NRA discount. That translates into each discount costing the airline about $3 million in tax breaks.

    2. They'd do better to review the location of their headquarters.

If some other state can save them $40 million a year in fuel taxes, it might be cheaper in the long run to move their headquarters out of state.

They shouldn't be letting the NRA or Georgia politicians dictate to them how to run their business.

"Writing on Facebook Moore raged, “I have lawyers who want to help but they are not without cost and besides their fees, legal expenses could run over $100,000. The liberal media, in association with some who want to destroy our country do not want my influence in the 2018 elections and are doing everything they can to stop me.

“Gays, lesbians, and transgenders have joined forces with those who believe in abortion, sodomy, and destruction of all that we hold dear. Unless we stand together we will lose our country,” he added as an inducement to get help paying his bills." "“I’m sure that you cannot imagine how this has taken a toll on my wife, my children, and even my friends,” he explained. “My resources have been depleted and I have struggled to make ends meet, but I have not lost my faith in our God, who is our true source of strength and will never leave or forsake us.”" <FUCK THAT PIG !
