Bump stock maker ain't making bump stocks no more.

Courtesy of CNN:

Slide Fire Solutions, the inventor and manufacturer of bump stocks, will no longer be selling the firearm accessories.

On its website Tuesday, Slide Fire Solutions said it "will cease taking orders for its products and shut down its website."

The company said it will process and ship all orders taken prior to May 20. The company did not say on its website what will happen to its factory in Texas.

It is not everything, but it is something.

And all journeys toward progress are made up of tiny steps forward.

Looking forward to the day when the last company says that they will no longer manufacture AR-15's.

I know, I know, don't hold your breath.

There may be a huge uptick in purchases between now and May 20. Along with mass hysteria that gun owners are being "deprived" of their legal rights. Frankly, I don't feel sorry for any of them. I think the right of all of us to live without fear of being murdered by guns is far more important.

    1. It is hard to understand how the VAST majority of American citizens (of all stripes) want gun control and their representatives (well, GOP reps) will not carry out those wishes... Do those supporters see anything wrong there? Will they continue to support them or will the issue be forgotten by then?

November is a make-or-break election. Democracy (what is left of it) is on a knife edge.

    2. Exactly. Why May 20? That's a MONTH. Watch their sales balloon in the next 30 days. If they were serious they would have had a shorter warning span. Like, April 30. Or even April 23 last day orders taken.

And OUR paid servants need to go a step further and outlaw them entirely at our demand. The fruitcakes have stockpiled them. Make them illegal. Stop all sales now.

Glad the kids are marching for their life today along with their teachers.
One thing I don't hear much is this. The reason Public Schools and Dept of Education is in such a mess is because of the voucher system of allowing our tax dollars to shift to charter schools, private schools etc. ALL money must stay in the Public Schools, if you want your darling kids to go elsewhere than you pay for it yourself. PERIOD. NO more money for charter schools!!!!!

    https://www.rawstory.com/2018/04/michigan-gop-candidate-calls-parkland-survivor-david-hogg-crisis-actor-paid-cnn/

" told The Sentinel he “personally [believes] David Hogg is being used by CNN because he fits their liberal narrative of Big Government Solutions to the Parkland tragedy.”

The former lawmaker told The Sentinel he doesn’t think CNN is paying Hogg, but that the “liberal network found a preppy, middle class looking kid—who sadly, according to the media, was at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on the day of the shooting—and pays him in interviews and airtime as long as he drives their message of gun confiscation

He added that Hogg is “grandstanding and self-promoting with this awful event in the background and that he is using the shootings as cause to be disrespectful to Florida Governor Scott, Senator Rubio, the president and basically anyone whose views CNN happens to disagree with.”"
"Hogg became the face of the massacre was inorganic, telling The Sentinel CNN handpicked him as the “face of the tragedy.”

“I would feel much better about seeing and hearing his opinion everywhere if the students from his school were to have voted Hogg as spokesperson and not CNN,” <WTF
