Comey did not necessarily defend Andrew McCabe, he suggested that the process needed to play out, but he also did not "throw McCabe under the bus."

The memos are exacting in their specificity, including details about who was sitting where, the precise times that conversations began and their durations. In some cases, Mr. Comey shared his accounts with others immediately afterward.
These details add credibility to Mr. Comey’s account of events. Mr. Trump has disputed some parts, including asking Mr. Comey to shut down an investigation into Mr. Flynn.
Exactly! Rather than indict James Comey for wrongdoing, these memos actually back up the testimony that he provided to the Senate and the details that he wrote about in his book.

"Federal prosecutors in Washington have been asked by the Justice Department’s inspector general to determine whether the FBI’s former deputy director, Andrew McCabe, should be charged for allegedly “lacking candor” on multiple occasions with internal investigators and with then-FBI director James Comey, according to a source familiar with the matter.
In a report made public by lawmakers last week, Inspector General Michael Horowitz concluded that McCabe repeatedly misled investigators looking into how sensitive investigative information ended up on in a national newspaper in the weeks before the 2016 presidential election.
Horowitz’s office then referred the matter to the U.S. Attorney’s office in Washington, indicating Horowitz believes McCabe committed a federal crime with his actions. It’s unclear exactly when the referral was made.
McCabe has become a frequent target of criticism from President Donald Trump and Republican lawmakers, who allege that McCabe's time at the top of the FBI was emblematic of political bias in the FBI's law enforcement work.
McCabe's lawyers issued a statement Thursday afternoon saying they're confident no charges would be filed.
"We were advised of the referral within the past few weeks. Although we believe the referral is unjustified, the standard for an IG referral is very low. We have already met with staff members from the U.S. Attorney’s Office. We are confident that, unless there is inappropriate pressure from high levels of the Administration, the U.S. Attorney’s Office will conclude that it should decline to prosecute,” the statement said."
Maybe Cohen will get the last laugh, if he ever smartens up and throws donald under the bus for a change.

Little donnie doesn't understand that Flynn made the choice to ruin his own life when he decided to work with the enemy to rig an election. This is a concept that trump doesn't understand because he has never taken responsibility for his actions, it has always been someone else's fault.

The questions I would like someone to ask Comey that stated trump should not be impeached but the people need to right a wrong by voting are:
1.why is it our fault that trump rigged the election, why does he get away with committing crimes with no punishment? the majority voted against him and we are still stuck with him.
2. since Congress and the president have done nothing to protect of election system from the russians or anyone else, how do we know the next election isn't rigged?
