More Gods that I find unbelievable.

Another God from mythology. This time from the pantheon of Greek Gods. But no normal God is this for this is Zeus, "King of the Gods". He is quite the bad-ass amongst the godly.

Zeus kicked his father's ass and usurped his throne. He took a wife, Hera, and then proceeded to couple with other godesses and mortals alike. Clearly not the God of fidelity.

Zeus sired several lesser gods and godesses; Ares, Athena, Apollo, and Artemis, amongst others. He also sired the hero Heracles with a mortal woman, after assuming the guise of her husband. Tricky isn't he?

Zeus famously meddled in the affairs of mortals constantly and seemed to be obsessed with them to the detriment of his relationships with the other gods and goddesses.

Though Zeus does seem easier to relate to then many other gods, he still leaves me a little wanting. He is so childish and so consumed with chasing poontang. One would think that a God would be somewaht above that sort of thing. And while I know that many other Gods have impregnated mortal women I still find this celestial rape thing a little creepy. I mean if rappers can get so much play then why would a God have to force or trick anybody into dropping the drapery and having a go?

So while I really respect his can do attitude I will have to pass on believing in Zeus.

So once again if this is your God of choice I certainly mean you no disrespect. I am sure that all of your animal sacrifices have not been wasted. I am just looking for a little more morality in my God of choice.
