Porno teacher Tericka Dye was once DP Queen Rikki Andersin.

(The link above is definitely NSFW)

Holy crap! I had no idea the teacher was this well known and this prolific! Well, we here at The Immoral Minority do not judge. (Unless you are a lying Republican!) It is truly a shame that somebody cannot start a new life and put her youthful indiscretions behind her. (Sorry for the pun, I can't help myself.) What is really sad is that she was sold out by a man that she once trusted and undoubtedly loved.

Rumor has it that Dye's past came to light because she is currently divorcing and fighting with her ex over child custody.

This guy is the true sinner!

I totally agree! The wholw United States is built on the fact that you can achieve anything if you turn your life around or put your mind to be somebody and then be it! I always wondered what got all this started and who told on her for the video. Now, thanks to this blog...i know! Me and several of my friends and family members have sent letters to the school and Paducah T.V. station WPSD TV in support of Tericka Dye. I hope she comes through this o.k. By the way, I am a 47 year old practicing christian who believes in people and forgives as i would like to be forgiven. Thanks for the chance!

What's her loser ex-husband's name? Is there anything in that bastards past that the self-riteous might seize upon? Eye for an eye. . .

I do not agree here that she is the "victim" she wishes to be perceived she is. The woman lied about her past after being outed claiming it was only a "couple of hours" where she actually has at least 11 films to her credit.
I feel sorry for her as Paducah is not the town to try to get past anything, but she should have been totally honest when she began rallying support.
Now she has undermined all her credibility with me, and I am pretty apt to take the side of someone being judged on past actions.

I knew her before she did porn when she was on her first enlistment in the Army. Nothing but a pain in the ass who tried to manipulate people around her. She eventually abandoned her son and a husband who had adopted him. A real piece of work she was and a nutjob, at least back then.

we need to leave her alone and let her live her life. if everyone got fired for past mistakes NO ONE would have a job.

i saw the episode about this teacher today on dr. phil. my opinion as a mother and educated professional is that she should not have been suspended. here are my reasons:

    1. she did nothing illegal.

    2. she no longer does porn.

    3. she admits to having had an undiagnosed mental illness that caused her to make bad decisions, also not a crime. she is being treated for her condition and has it under control.

    4. she got herself together, got an education.

    5. she has no control over the distribution of the porn she made. this could really happen to anyone these days. for example someone could put a hidden camera in your bedroom and put it on the net and say you were doing porn.

    6. according to her and school officials she has been an excellent teacher and is well liked by her students.

    7. she is a young mother with children to support and their lives have been destroyed by the loss of their mother's income and the publicity.

    8. i'm certain when she was hired her background was investigated to ensure she had no criminal record or child abuse charges.

what is most damaging is how this school district chose to handle this case. basically firing her is sending a bad message to students everywhere. not only did they "fire" this woman, they destroyed her reputation by making this situation public. if they really felt they needed to let her go they should have done everything possible to keep it quiet.

in my child's middle school there is a teacher who posed for a porn magazine prior to becoming a teacher. alledgedly, some kids have seen the magazine. our school district has chosen to address parental concerns every single year when it's raised. their stand on it is that she did this prior to going to college, she did nothing illegal, she no longer poses for magazines and shes's an excellent teacher. that's the end of it and after a week or so it all dies down. if a parent really has a problem with it, they make sure this teacher dosen't teach their kid.

i'm fine with my kid having her for a teacher and i do not think that sends a bad message. i think many of us make choices when we are younger that we'd prefer we didn't. i think we all have some kind of skeleton in closet.

i don't want my kid to think making a mistake is fatal. i also think if you make anything sound so forbidden such as sex, drugs, smoking, alcohol, etc., it makes it much more interesting.

one more point i'd like to make, one of her teachers is a smoker. the kids know because they can smell it on him and we live in a state where smoking is viewed as almost a sin. the kids have a more negative view of the teacher who smokes than the one who posed for the magazine. go figure.

i find this case to be a very sad commentary on our society and our still uptight values. this all reminds me of The Scarlet Letter and The Salem Witch Trials.

i'm sure allot of people are praying for her soul. i'm praying she is able to move, find another job so she and her kids can have some kind of happiness.

    well, that's my rant.

She told her ex-husbands sister about her past in the porno industry, that's how it started. HER FAULT. She got involved in a child custody battle which the husband brought it up in court. She did lie about the extent of her career until evidence of multiple movies came to light. She was suspended with pay and her contract with the school was simply not renewed. Deciding to become a school teacher after hard core movies was yet another bad decision in her life. Many jobs are out there which her past would not be an issue. Hiding a camera in a room and doing porno for money, one is a crime and the other isn't. She had no reasonable expectation of privacy when being paid for porno. Comparisons with the Salem Witch Trials are stupid, she brought this issue to light herself. The sad commentary is not on society, but on Tericka and her decision making. I know it will be a good day when she does find another job somewhere else, I wish her well.

i don't get why the custody battle was her fault. i also don't get why her ex made such an issue of this in court. all it did was hurt his kids. they are now humiliated and poor. so now you will tell us she shouldn't have had kids post-porn too? geez

I live in the area where she lives, I know people who know her.

She is a good person, she was a amazing teacher!

Any student she had in the past would say that!

    People fail to mention this!

yes, it has been mentioned many times, everywhere that ms. dye was an excellent teacher. problem is nobody seems to even care about REALITY in that town. this is not about illegality or even work performance, it's about morality. school officials and some people in KY seem to feel she is an immoral person because she made some porn movies a decade ago. they FEAR she will contaminate their kids.

what they really fear is themselves and she must pay the price. who cares if she told her ex or his sister she made the movies. i'm sure she confided this in them because they were her FAMILY and she was trying to do the RIGHT thing by disclosing her past to them. her husband and sister didn't seem to mind until there was a custody battle. i'm sure ms. dye's ex is fighting for custody so he dosen't have to pay support. got news for him, even if he gets custody, he better not plan on getting any child support from ms. dye because she can't get a job.

oh yeah, facts support the porn tapes and the knowledge that she had been a porn star surfaced several months before she was suspended (april-november). for all those months it was okay for her to teach? nope, the reason they waited was because it was nearing the end of her contract and they knew they'd have to pay her during her suspension so she couldn't appeal. i doubt school officials cared less about ms. dye's past but a few right wing parents screamed bloody murder.

the people who will suffer the most at the end of this ms. dye's children.

ms. dye's ex husband will undoubtedly suffer the effects of very bad karma for a very long time.

I, as a Conservative Republican, can say this. If she wants to start a new life as a teacher. Great. Anybody can be or do anything they want in this country. But, if your past catches up with you, well, such is life. We all have our demons, some of us were stupid enough to get it on tape.

I hope she can start over again.

"Rumor has it that Dye's past came to light because she is currently divorcing and fighting with her ex over child custody.

This guy is the true sinner!"

You are willing to condemn somebody over a rumor? If he really believed it was an issue and did divulge the information to the court, why don't you respect him. You are the immoral minority who doesn't judge. Isn't calling him a sinner a judgement?

"Unless you are a lying Republican!" How about lying democrats? They are okay?

"we here at The Immoral Minority do not judge" Anyone who makes the claim they do not judge is a liar. This is so evident in this one little post.

"she admits to having had an undiagnosed mental illness that caused her to make bad decisions, also not a crime."

Illness? your telling me she did porn because of illness, yeah the fuck right, we as a people have givin everything a name these days to cover up the bullshit we've done, were no better. I don't care if she did it, yet... The question is, is a porn star with "mental illness" able to teach a school of kids?

I would say No, but because it was 11 years ago, she doesn't influence it and isn't any longer with the porn industry then she should stay. yet all the problems the school would have it would make it easier if she no longer taught at that school, I mean common.. my teacher is in this porn i have, she takes it up both holes in the video, What am i going to think whilst siting down listening to her.

    Its not helpful

Nope. Not anymore. I had her for my science class and she just recently quit because everyone found out about her past.
I could swear there was something about her... Damn.
    She's fucking hot though.

You guys no nothing about the porn industry. Like her, you film 3-8 hours worth and they cut and edit it out into over dozens of titles. They can cut it up into 15 min scenes and then those 24 scenes are used in over dozens of movies.

All for 8 hours of work. They can even release them years down the road and still people would think they were filmed yesterday.
