New Bush trick: Inflate the predictions for the upcoming budget deficit and then "miraculously" bring it in for billions less.

President Bush touted new deficit figures Tuesday showing considerable improvement upon earlier administration predictions, saying it shows the wisdom of his tax cuts.

Bush himself announced the figures — a task that for the most part has been left to lower-ranking administration officials in the past. The new figures show the deficit for the budget year ending Sept. 30 will be $296 billion — much better than the $423 billion that Bush predicted in February and a slight improvement over 2005.

Bush said the improvement is due to tax cuts he pushed in 2001 and 2003 and his clampdown on domestic agencies funded by Congress.

You know what is really sad about this is how fucking obvious it is. It literally reminds me of watching a child put on a magic show where every trick is obvious and predictable and yet we are expected to act surprised and amazed so that we do not hurt the kid's feelings.

In this metaphor FOX News would serve as the child's parents, smiling broadly, clapping and nodding at the other audience members encouraging them to join in.

"Look how talented our little President is? He saved our country billions of dollars just by lying about the budget predictions. Isn't he precious?"

No! The little, lying fucker is not "precious". He is a deceitful, ham handed, little prick. And all he is doing is what he has tried to do for the whole five years that he has been in office, control the message. He sets the bar where he wants it and then makes it over with room to spare.

And anybody who actually allows themselves to be fooled by this needs to sign up immediately to have a full frontal lobotomy. You are a complete waste of oxygen. You are dumber then a houseplant. But at least a houseplant creates oxygen, it does not consume oxygen, so in that way you are less useful then my huge Ficus which has somehow gained control of my living room. (See how smart my tree is compared to you?)

Okay I may have lost the plot here but you get the idea. Damn this crap pisses me off!
